If you are at this dealership and something is wrong with your car and you see your salesman and he asks you what is wrong with your car, He will say Really and laugh because he knows that he sold you a Piece of xxxx and he already got paid and you got xxxxed.

Terrible experience

I purchased a used vehicle for $13k. I drove home and the next morning I noticed the paint flaked off. Then I noticed bubbles all in the paint on top. They only wanted to fix where it flaked but finally agreed to fix the bubbles also. I tried to cancel the deal since I felt screwed but they said no. I took it back to them on a Monday morning and got it back the following Thursday(10 days later). The repair is aweful as there is overspray on the black around the windshield. And after I got home I noticed 2 little dings in the door and the paint is coming off on the door now that wasnt there before I took it back to be repaired. Today i got my tags in the mail and they have a temp registration that can be permanent after I pay the $96 I was never told about. After all this I will never purchase from a dealership again, especially the Modern network. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had buying a car. AVoid this place at all costs. The only thing good about this place is the salesman Dan Nelson. He was good.

Fair Price/No Pressure Service Oriented Salesman

I am a senior female and did not expect that I would be given a good deal or a fair price for my trade in. Well, I could not have been more mistaken. The manager gave me the Blue Book fair trade in price for my 2007 Monte Carlo SS within minutes of my arrival. Also, the dealership had a reasonable discount on the internet and that was honored. The best part of my experience was my salesman. Marcos Diaz was patient with me during the entire process and did not pressure me in any way. Even though he explained the features on my vehicle when I picked it up I am having trouble mastering them and he has told me I can come back at any time to have him help me master them. He is very service oriented and has a commitment to help the customer learn how to use all of the options which are on the vehicle. I highly recommend that you ask for Marcos Diaz when you want to purchase a Chevrolet.

Training Moment

I scheduled an appointment to test drive a 2018 Chevrolet Colorado LT Redline Edition. I arrived at the dealership approximately fifteen minutes after the scheduled time. I walked inside and had to search for a sales associate. After a couple minutes, an associate greeted me and inquired as to my visit. I advised I had spoken to the internet sales associate, Sunny T. and had scheduled to test drive the vehicle aforementioned. While he searched for my paperwork, I observed my name listed on the appointment board above the door- clearly stating the reason for my visit. After several minutes the associate returned and brought me to his office. As we sat down, he advised the vehicle was at their other lot and he would have to leave and pick it up. He then proceeded to advise me to “hang out in [his] office,” until he returned. He requested me to make a few phone calls to “speed up the process” and obtain financial information so that upon his return we would be able to move quickly through the process. I then waited at the dealership for an additional fifty minutes while he went to get the vehicle from a lot fairly close to Modern Chevy. Upon return, I drove the truck and quickly returned to his office. I provided all of the necessary information and advised him of my reasonable price range. I further advised I had previously been to a competitor and received a quote for my trade in. I then sat in the office for an additional forty minutes until he returned advising they would offer $2000.00 less for my vehicle and would raise my monthly payment $175.00 above what the other dealership offered. The vehicle was also priced $2000.00 above the listed price. I was advised, “...it’s because of the additions and accessories not listed online.” I then showed him that the “extras” were in fact online, as well as the lower price for the vehicle. He refused to explain where the additional fees stemmed from. The finance manager as well as the sales manager advised they could not negotiate on the trade-in value nor the price of the new vehicle. I was offered no explaination other than, “I don’t know, it’s either not the right truck or not the right time.” Readers Digest version: From the moment I walked into that dealership I was not taken seriously and had numerous associates at all levels of management lack a sense of respect or courtesy. I will not recommend this establishment to anyone. The next day I bought the exact truck with my trade-in, financed appropriately at a competitor’s dealership. Modern Chevy lost a sale due to lack of empathy, timeliness and general respect.

New 2018 Silverado

Updated 4-17-18 Salesman Awesome, Dealership very bad Service. Worked with Jake, Had a GREAT experience with him. I came a few times to look at the truck I wanted and really did my homework on what I was looking for and what I thought would be an acceptable price. I test drove it twice before I bought it and never felt pressured into something I wasn't ready for. When I came ready to purchase I was helped through the process and was shown several different purchasing options (0% Financing, rebates ect.) and was able to see the real price that I would be paying and chose the best option for me. The process was quick and seemless. I would recommend this dealer and Jake as the salesman to anyone. The dealership itself however has given me poor service after the fact.. I found some damage on my wheel shortly after purchasing. Granted I didn't look it over great the day I purchased that great (it was raining for one) but Im not sure that I wouldve seen this anyway unless I did a Very Thourough inspection. I know for 100% I did not curb or damage the wheel myself, and the Tire even has the little rubber pieces left on it literally less than a inch away from the damage so its Very Obvious it wasn't curbed. They made me feel as if I am responsible for it and said since it left the lot and I cant prove it was done before hand that its on me to fix. They gave a "Discount" of a $60 dollar fix but its the principal of the matter that I purchased a Brand New vehicle from them and Paid a good bit of money and they want to nickle and dime me for something I know for a fact I didn't do. This to me is not good customer service and seems they are just wanting to get whatever they can out of me after the fact.

Very pleasant experience dealing with Modern Chevrolet

Sarah, Jake and Steve were very professional and were quick to make me feel like I was their only customer! I live in Atlanta, GA but I purchased my new Silverado 2500HD from Modern Chevrolet in Winston-Salem because they beat every price anywhere else. I flew into Greensboro, NC airport and Jake was there to pick me up. He took me to the dealership and within an hour I was on the road, with my new truck, back to Atlanta.
