2014 Volkswagen Golf

Bought a used 2014 VW for my son off Jim. It didn't start on test drive but they replaced battery a few days later. Also bought with tag showing price with fixing moldings included. The interior moldings were unclipped and not fastened correctly. It went into have moldings fixed. Car comes back looking the same inside but like plastic piece above tire well hanging. I call and they said exterior moldings fixed. I take it back in, now have a hangy thing because my husband said they drilled through it. All they did was screw it in to fix and looked like xxxx.. wonder if that is why trunk had water in it under spare tire? The back passenger door not even aligned correctly and hitting front passenger and rubbing metal. I paid for an extended warranty which is a huge rip off. After the extended warranty I financed about 16k and they didn't fix anything!! Scammers!!

I highly recommend that if you are considering this dealership, RUN THE OTHER WAY. I would have rather went and picked a car from a junk yard than go here.. You probably would get better customer service talking to a wall. The internet sales department promises you things that they cannot fulfill. The internet sales manager, Bryan Cloud, didn't return my calls for two weeks. I called every day for him. Spoke with multiple people who said they would call me back or get Bryan to call me. Leasing managers, the GM, sales managers, customer service managers, etc and NONE of them helped and never returned my calls. They didn't ever call back. And when I finally got to speak to him, he called me a liar, told me I only heard what I wanted to hear, said my problem is not his (even though his team was the issue), was real nasty and didn't correct the mistakes his employees made. Told he would fire his employee, Gregory, if it made me feel better. And I asked why would you fire someone you feel like didn't do any wrong? I asked for a copy of the phone call with Gregory since Bryan was calling me a liar and he said "it's my data you aren't getting anything." Bryan hung up on me in the middle of our conversation and had his employees stop answering my calls. He purposely talked on his cellphone so the call couldn't be recorded hence why he was so nasty and mean. HE IS THE MANAGER AND DIRECTOR OF HIS DEPARTMENT AND THAT'S HOW THEY TREAT PEOPLE. If you ever get a call from Gregory or Ryan in the internet sales department HANG UP. They will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you to come into the shop. I was told that They can lower the value of a car to cover my miles that were over and keep me in a range I was comfortable paying and that was a lie!! They knew my exact situation and still fed me lies even when I said I didn't want to come out and waste my time if nothing could be done. They do not take responsibility for the things they say and the promises they can't make but instead blame the customer for "misunderstanding". The sales team did nothing to help me and said the internet sales team isn't their department and oh well their hands are tied (but work hand in hand with the internet sales team). The service department sucks too! Will tell you on the phone something is covered under warranty and still charge you! I've contacted corporate. Montrose nissan should either clean house or shut down. This was the first time I went to montrose and it will be the last time. I will preach it from the top of a mountain for NO ONE to do business here. I will post this on every social media platform. Going there was the biggest mistake I ever made. Stick with boardman.

Worst experience ever !

The service that I received from Sarah was horrible and I would never go back there again for anything. She made the entire experience just plain awful and thankfully I was able to interact with Joe and Cal today. Although my car wasn’t fixed Joe and Cal were very nice and friendly and professional the whole time.

Vehicle service contract

Financial Manager Mark dickerhoof overcharged me, I cancelled my contract on 10/6/18 and they can't call and cancel on the 8th it doesn't expire until 2019 next year I'm do money back from the cancellation , Mark and or dealership is the one whose supposed to give me my money back I would not recommend anyone getting a car from them because I believe he is scamming and fraud and people of their money

Incompetent and Shady

I traveled over an hour after speaking all day with their sales team on a Nissan Rogue. When I arrived, their sales associate, informed me the vehicle was sold the night before and the customer right before me had the same thing happen to him. Sale Manager Mike Jr. said they would work with me to make this right, offered another Rogue at the same price, and told a clean CarFax. Upon evaluation the vehicle needed brakes and tires, and 3 accidents on the CarFax. I asked why Autotrader had the vehicle listed as certified. Suddenly, the offer price was no longer the price. This back and forth went on for 72 hours with Montrose's story continuing to change. I was never offered an apology. It is apparent there is a combination of complete incompetence and the promotion of shady sales schemes. Do not waste your time traveling or visiting. After reading other's reviews, there seems to be a pattern. I reached out to the GM prior to posting. The dealership informed me he would be in in the afternoon. That evening, I receive and email from him stating he is at a training for the week, but will call me the next day. As shocking as it is, I didn't receive a phone call. The definition of used car sales. Reading other's reviews, there is a pattern here.

My boyfriend, myself and our 16 month old daughter were immediately approached by Kenna Griffith when arriving at Montrose Nissan. We were returning customers who had previously purchased a used vehicle at Montrose, and after a short discussion of what we were looking for, we quickly found that a new '17 Rogue Sport was perfect for us. Kenna was very knowledgeable and went out of her way to provide information with honesty and kindness without any uneasy pressure. It was very refreshing and made the overall purchase and buying experience enjoyable. She also had the patience of a saint with our daughter during the entire process. Use extreme caution if you shop Montrose Nissan. I don't recommend anyone buy there, if you do, bring a calculator just in case they make mistakes with the addition on the offers. I shopped there in April of 17. I went there with the mind set of trading two of my vehicles in for a new truck they had advertised on the internet. The first offer came to me and the truck was priced $8000. higher then it was advertised at. Funny, I told them the price it was advertised at, they checked it out and still tried to slide the inflated price by me. The second issue was when they offered me a total of $23,200. for both my trade-ins. $9000 for the first and $14200 for my 2016 Rogue. Once again I checked his math. This time I caught him adding the payoff amount ($10200) for my 2016 Rogue to the price of the truck. I confronted him about it and was told "that's how it's done". He tried to get my 2016 Rogue, with 7800 miles, for $4000, then tried to justify it by saying that's all its worth. They have no shame. Needless to say I kept my Rogue and sold it myself for $17K. It keeps getting worse. Five days after I bought, I got a random letter, handwritten from the sales manager of Montrose offering me up to $24500 for my 2016 Rogue. I sent in a customer survey and within 30 minutes I received a call from the GM of the dealership requesting the names of the person involved with my bad experience. Now for the real insult,,, it was him, the GM that was pulling all the xxxxxxxx with me. Once again he tried to play me. They will rip you off anyway possible. I have all transmissions with the dealership recorded and saved and have spoken to Nissan America many times about this dealer.

$7000 trade in is a lie. False advertising.

We talked to 2 different people there about this so called offer before we drove an hour to get there. They promised the world over the phone. After we got there and talked to them in person, they had to inspect our car to give us an amount for trade in. Guaranteed $7000? Right out the window. They only wanted to give us $4000. After arguing this with them, we were told that we could do this if we had a down payment, even though it was previously stated no down payment required.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Poor service

I'm writing to let people know this dealership has poor service department for the reason of the dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree a month after I bought it ,mind you they had it for 2 weeks to fix brakes and other things. I sent the video via email of this happening and sarah would not return my calls. So after the aggravation of fixing it on my own thought all was well and good. Nope,just did first oil change the filter was crushed like the person used channel locks and could not get it off so he left it. The machanic (if you call it that) has no business working on vehicles. However the salesman Mike was very easy to deal with I give him credit for trying to help but it was out of his hands. In all honesty I would not recommend this stealership.
