car sold as CPO

Car advertised as a CPO by Ford/Mullinax Ford anything but. Most outer panels on exterior of car repainted at one time. I expected salesman to be upfront, had issue with decal taken off by dealer, When I called to express my disappointment, I was totally blown off by both salesman and GM. I took car to body shop to get estimate on making repair, that is when I was informed by several repair shops that car had numerous panels repainted and done so poorly, This car should never had been listed as a CPO but rather wholesaled out.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Easy process and great deal

I wanted to move up from my small Kia to a SUV. I had done lots of research and was moving towards buying a Kia model. I had never purchased a Ford and had some of those lingering feelings from long ago about an American car vs. an import. I had seen many Ford Suvs in the area and the dimensions and features of the Ford matched the Kia model. I wanted to see what kind of deal I could get on an apples to apples basis. We met Alfredo Gonzalez. He took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for. He fully explained all the available model variations and options. And he showed us and priced both a 2017 and 2018 model. I then asked the price if trading in my Kia. The purchase price was significantly lower than Kia and the real trade in discount that I received was significantly better than what Kia offered. I purchased the car and upon delivery Alfredo went over everything on the operation of the car. He was truly interested in providing us with a great deal on something that we wanted rather trying to push us into something that the dealership was looking to move.

Great Experience with Glenda and Angela

I recommend this dealership due to the outstanding service experience I had with Glenda and Angela. They were very professional and exhibited a high level of customer service and everything you would expect when taking your car in for repair and maintenance. I really appreciate this because I was getting annoyed at having to deal with a clutch problem that thankfully is covered under warranty.

Excellent Pricing and Experience

Although Mullinax began the upfront pricing theme in 1975 it is most relevant today. First of all their website tells you just about everything you need to know about a specific car including the final price. If you do not have a car to trade the only extras are sales tax, registration plates etc. You literally can walk into their dealership say hello, tell the salesperson with the specific stock number you want to buy and assuming it hasn't been sold be 99% done. I had a trade and had previously done my homework as to its approximate value. I expected to be low balled and was shocked when they offered an extremely fair price. Best of all the the evaluation of my trade only took 15 minutes. Compare this amount of time compared to the marathon Carmax puts you through. What was also helpful is I dealt with a seasoned salesperson Ronnie Butts. He has been with Mullinax a long time as is many others I met. No pressure whatsoever and the most enjoyable car buying experience I have ever had. Then the icing on the cake was when my wife and I returned a few days later to pick up the car Ronnie and other Mullinax people could not have been nicer in syncing our phones, setting up their Ford Pass and getting through the endless number of forms the State of Florida wants signed. When everything was finalized we drove out with our new car that was perfect. What can be better? I have purchased 30 new and used cars with my family members over my 65 years. All I can tell you is this was easily the best way to buy a car.

No Pressure- Straight forward upfront deal in timely manner

The salesman, Mike Meyer was pleasant to deal with and was knowledgeable of the 2017 super duty truck body and frame upgrades , etc. showed me many variations and didn't make me feel pressured. Did not hound me, just called once to check with me and I returned a week later got a fair amount for my 2014 Dodge Ram trade and good price on the new F-250. It was around 5 pm on a Friday, but Mike Meyer, the salesman and Mark the financial department made it all happen and I left with my new truck that evening. Very happy with the truck and Mullinax Ford in Lake Park, Florida.
