Great Customer Service...they went the extra mile to help!

By Ken Moss on 12/1/2016 at 1:58 AM. Helped by Leslie Smith - Service Dept. and Doug Ingram - Dealership Owner.

My wife and I were recently driving back to our home in Bobcaygeon in our Jeep Grand Cherokee after a 2 night stay at a hotel in the Gravenhurst & Bracebridge area. We suddently noticed a strong burning smell and their appeared to be oil leaking from the motor valve cover. We then drove to Muskoka Chrysler Sales which was a few miles away. Leslie Smith in the service department was very courteous and immediately had a mechanic look at our Jeep while we were escorted to their customer lounge.. They quickly discovered that a seal had been left off from the camshaft position sensor that had been installed by our Chrysler dealer in Lindsay Ontario. They immediately ordered the part and drove us to a hotel to stay in for the night. The dealership owner Doug Ingram personally looked after us and picked us up first thing in the morning to collect our car which was ready to go! They really went the extra mile!

I would recommend this dealer.

Final price keeps changing.... I will never buy here....

Just before I went on vacation mid July, I saw an online ad from this dealer for a 2013 Lincoln MKX for 32,995. I sent email and talked to a sales person who was very friendly and professional. I explained to him I was only willing to pay 31,000. He wanted me to put a deposit by credit card to hold the vehicle. I told him I was going on vacation and would contact him in after two weeks. After returning I emailed him to see if it was still available which he said it was so I again made the offer of 31,000 to which he said there will be an admin fee of 399.00 added which included a global security registration against theft and 2,500 additional insurance to which I told him I did not want and the extra fee was a scam (illegal). I still agreed to it conditional upon an inspection and test drive which was to take place on August 13. I still did not give a credit card deposit over the phone as he wanted me too. On the day I was to drive to Bracebridge (2 hour plus drive) he emailed me to say his manager wanted 500.00 more for a total of 31,900 plus taxes and license. I cancelled my trip to see the vehicle. I reported them to OMVIC and submitted all emails and voice mails from them as evidence. If you deal with them expect the final price to change for no good reasons.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Poor Service

By bernieca on 6/5/2014 at 9:12 AM. Helped by 3.

Called re engine light on in a 2012 Chrysler 300. Went to dealer, they flashed computer. The only reason I know this is I read the work order. Upon leaving the dealership I was handed the key and work order, no mention of what was done or why. The lady who took the information from me was rude and basically made me feel I was bothering her( she no longer works there). About a week goes by engine light back on so I called, had to leave message on answering machine, 24 hours goes by before they call back. Poor service so I called dealer principal Doug Ingram, who really didn't show much empathy, half hearted apology. I go back and they reflash computer. About another week later check engine light back on. Called again and they now say it needs a fuel pressure sensor replaced. Few days later they call and I go in to have sensor replaced. Less than a week later check engine light back on. I call and make apt to have checked yet again. Just before the 1 30 pm appointment I arrive sign work order and go to waiting area. 45 mins goes by and nothing.I looked outside and car right where I parked it. Not even touched. I go back to service dept, sure enough not touched, told them to give me my key and I will go elsewhere to get fixed. Service manager calls, left message on my ans machine saying :don't know what happened but want to apologize face to face" What a joke! He doesn't know what happened but wants to apologize. Yea right. How can you apologize for something or fix it when you don't know what happened???? The service at this dealership is so terrible I recommend that you stay away from this place. They will never se another penny from me .Oh and I called Chrysler customer service over a day ago and heard nothing back from them. Makes me think Chrysler is doomed yet again!

I would not recommend this dealer.
