I would like to take this opportunity to write a review about my experience at Northlake Kia, from the time me and my family walked in we were greeted with a pleasant experience with the Management Staff And also our Sales Rep Jon Brown-Stepan, who took his time and allowed us to walk around and enjoy the New Car inventory. He did not force anything on us and answered every question that we had for him and very knowledgeable about every Vehicle on the Kia Dealership Lot. The service was so excellent that we purchased 3 vehicles at one time and we purchased the vehicles that we wanted, both are 2019 Kia Sorento and Forte and another is a 2016 Forte. Mr. Jon Brown-Stephan is a big asset to the Company and very customer friendly and loyal to the customers, I will definitely recommend The Kia Family to my friends and family that are looking for a vehicle from what me and my family had experienced.

My husband and I purchased a 2019 Kia Sorrento. The service rendered at Napleton Northlake Kia was amazing from the front desk to the finance office. Our salesman Mr. Jon ROCK! He made my family feel very welcome and comfortable with our visit. The test drive was very informational...........Mr. Jon had his listening ears on. He was very attentive to our wants needs and cares. Mr Jon is very knowledgeable about what he does at Napleton Kia. We are very very happy with our purchase..........1st Kia and loving it.

Right Car - right price - complete deal

My wife and I purchased a 2019 Niro Hybird today - excellent car but just as important - excellent service. We were promptly greeted at the door, introduced to Jon who then took us on a drive. He explained the vehicle, options, differences and then we got to pricing. He worked with us to get us fair pricing for the car we wanted. After filling out some forms, we went to lunch, they prepared for financing discussion when we returned and some good conversation and again, options, were presented to us. We purchased the car and drove off the lot... Very happy with our purchase and all those involved that made it happen. We are definitely clients now as this will be the 3rd Kia we have purchased - but - the first from Napleton Northlake.... No need to look further.

They Lied To Me!

Nothing that they told me was the truth!!! I had toxic poisoning and have stage 4 Cancer when I was in the dealership and needed to get out of the van I was driving because it was full of gas and making me sick. I trusted them to make me the right deal and they took advantage of my condition. They added things without telling me and knew I was not in the right state of mind to read it all. When I found out I canceled the extended warranty and maintenance they added without asking me if I wanted it. They never filed the paper work with the company that holds the policy. I talked to corporate and they said they would make sure it was done, never happened. Still working on it months later and the people holding the warranty will not cancel it without the dealership. Sounds like a scam to me, but hey what do I know?

Terrible, terrible, terrible

So from week to week there prices change on a vehicle (which okay they can do that) but to go up a few thousand from one week to the next (literally) shows you how crazy and arbitrary they are. Even if you call first and get pricing that is supposed to be out the door price. They somehow managed to tag on an extra $3000 (no lie) in fees that were not listed. So whatever price they have on Cargurus you will not even get close to that when you go in. Yes I understand there is tax, tag, title and even their dealer fee of $899 (higher than most) but still they managed to add another few thousand in "VIP" costs on top of all those listed above. None of these were listed on their website or Cargurus. So for example, car listed at 15,500k was about 20K when all was said and done. Very sleazy dealership - stay away!!

False advertising.

Online advertising gave a specific price for a car. I called to confirm the price and all additional fees. When it came time to purchase the car the price was increased and an additional $1500 dealer fee had been added. They reduced the price and fee a little but refused to honor the advertised price. Salesman was knowledgeable but dealer does not honor their advertised prices and was dishonest about the dealer fees.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Second Key

Tony the sales manager was great and kept his promise, He ordered the second key and had it activated by service department (Aaron Clark did a great job). It was suggested to my husband that we should get an alignment, however due to the fact that we had just purchase the car on June 9, 2019 I did not think it would have needed that. Therefore I called the service advisor and was told that service was not something they do to per-certified use cars, they only go by a certain check list and car alignment is not included, also I need EFI Service (Fuel Injection Cleaning Service). I guess the check list for a used car is very limited. Now I just purchased the car and already we need to spend $280.68. The car did not have the SD card for the navigation system; therefore we had already spent $100.00 for that. I wonder what's next.

No collision in getting an estimate

This morning I went to Napleton Northlake KIA for an estimate for a paint job on my Optima.. I had the good fortune of having Roxanne work up the estimate. She was professional, patient, treated me like I mattered, and explained the estimate to my satisfaction. Can't ask for much better than that.

Buyer Beware!! We got scammed.

3 card midnight monte with these jokers. Scammed my family by leading us to believe they were taking in our VW for a trade-in lease, when it fact they left the trade-in out of the equation so they could work out a lease within our stated budget. We got the lease we were looking for, EXCEPT they lied straight to our faces and effectively claimed we dumped our VW on their lot(a car that still carried clear value). They got their deal before end of month deadline, but could only do so by tricking us into believing we were trading in our car. Why would anybody simply dump a car at a dealership lot that they owed money on and still carried clear value????? Of course there is no reason. They pulled this stunt off on a family of four, which included our two small children we had at the dealership until just past midnight. Talk about no shame. We had numerous taped calls with them where it couldn’t have been more crystal clear that we were trading in our car. They just cut that part out last second. Oh, and because we supposedly “dumped” our car on their lot, we no longer have any rights to the car but still owe the same thousands of dollars on it. These guys haven’t returned a single phone call on the matter in over six months. I’ve had three separate conversations with somebody at this dealership over the phone where they took my story/info and claimed to be appalled with the situation. Every time the “person” who deals with such matters is tied up. Every time I’ve been told somebody will reach out to explain their side. NOT ONCE have I ever received a return phone call addressing the matter. I’ve never been rude on the phone. They really think we’ll just eventually go away and they can glue their head in the sand. Not happening. This place is a massive joke. Run away!!!!
