Oil/filter change and tire rotation 10/6/18

After suffering two ordeals at two different Honda dealers, I decided to give El Monte Honda a try. I arrived at the dealership’s service center a few minutes before it’s 7:00 a.m. opening time. There were a several customers ahead of me, but once the spacious arrival area was opened up- the customers were promptly greeted and we were questioned about our reasons for being there. A few minutes later I was greeted by Service Advisor, Ken Okimoto. I was processed in, and I was given an written estimate for the oil/ filter change, and the tire rotation. I was told that I would be contacted should the mechanic find any additional issue that I might need to be made aware of. I was also given an estimate for how long it was going to take. I received a text message advising me that my car was ready. I walked over to Ken O’s office, where I was able to pay, as well as, pick up my car and drive home. I was surprised that no mention was made about the cabin filter, and the engine air filter- since the previous dealership recommended that both be changed during both my 30,000 and 40,000 mile service. (were both bad both times?) I trust that this time, they were both inspected, and that they were found to be acceptable. This resulted in a savings to me of about $100.00. I plan to continue having my car serviced at El Monte Honda- I will ask for Ken Okimoto.

Simple oil change

Over 1:30hrs just for an oil change.. unexceptable.. plus I had to ask why had my car been sitting.. if I had not ask they would not have taken it in finally.. there has to be a better system.. plus they tried to charge me just to check on my sliding door $130 for an estimate

Recall Appointment With Andika Citra

Have a schedule appointment with Andika Citra at 9:30 AM on 11/21/17 for my Honda Accord recall. I arrived very early at the service department for my appointment (8:15 AM). Mr. Citra was very courteous and accommodating. He came out immediately and helped me. He took care of the recall problem with out any hesitation even though I was there very early. He texted me as well as get me at the waiting room to inform me that my car was ready. He was very professional and informed me that the service department is always available to help with any car trouble I might encounter. He escorted me to my car and instructed me as well as show me how to get out of the service department safely. Good job and very good customer service. 👍😊

Kenneth Okimoto took care of my service and did a great job. Let me know what needed done and even cleaned my car. Reset my reminders and gave me estimates for what needs to be taken care of.

They squeezed me in

When all other dealerships said no walk ins on a holiday. El Monte Honda was able to squeeze me in as a walk in. They were also able to take care of the recall and fix my radio's error code. They took good care of my car.

Great customer setvice

I lease a 2016 Honda CR-V and started to have a noise from the rear suspension. Andika Citra was very perfessional and did all he could to make my experience a pleasant one. It took a few times to figure out the problem but they did all they could to solve my issue. Thank you for your hard work.

I took my Pilot in for the major service, and my service advisor was Andika Citra. This is my first time with El Monte Honda, and it would not be the last because of Andika. He was very courteous, extremely helpful, and professional. He provided me with honest assessment of what my vehicle needed, and kept me in the loop of the progress of the service. Andika also made sure that my air bag was replaced, because it was on the recalled list. Overall, I had such a positive experience with Andika, that I will certainly be back to El Monte Honda in the future.

Get Work Done
