I have purchased several vehicles from this dealer, even though it’s a 30 mile drive to do business there. In the past, I have always felt they had MY best interest at heart. My last dealings left me feeling betrayed. I bought a new Canyon 4wd for my wife and it had to be black. The only black one they had was an Allterrain. Nice looking truck. The salesman, Alan, and I sat in the cab of the pickup and I asked him...I’m not going to see a bunch of options in another Canyon that this one doesn’t have, am I? He said no. WRONG! There is a bunch of stuff this truck doesn’t have, what prompted this complaint is, we went to Vegas a couple weeks ago, and I took my cd’s with us....imagine my disappointment to realize it doesnt even have the most basic option...a CD player! I’ve looked around at other Canyons for sale and realize I didn’t get a decent deal either...better equipped trucks out there cheaper. Next time I buy, it won’t be here!

At first I was impressed with the crew at the dealership. I wasn’t so sure about my interaction with the sales manager. He did not seem like he wanted to sell me a car and basically told me to find something else. After looking and looking and having owned several Buick’s I decided to give them another chance. I did end up buying a Buick. I felt duped at the final transaction and was lied too. The price changed as well as the terms and it was all fast talked into believing it was standard procedure. It was not ethical. Within a week of owning the vehicle I knew it was the wrong car for me and tried to trade it out or upgrade.(at their dealership no less) I was not taken serious and basically told I have to keep the car. The offered me a ridiculous amount to trade it back in. I don’t believe they really wanted to help me at all. I then had it in for service, twice and nothing was done. They kept it for two days and told me they switched out the seat bottom. It was simply not true. The exact seat bottom was still on the vechile when returned. I called them out on it and he said he would order another but would take a week to get. Haven’t heard a word back. They also returned it with a stain on the passenger seat that was not there prior.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Service department is GREAT

They have a great service department but their finance department is terrible beyond all belief. I bought two cars there and will never buy another one. I've owned Buick's since 1992 and bought the last 2 from North County Buick as they were a little closer to my home. NEVER again. I'll drive over to Carlsbad. Car #1 I had trouble because of taxes. I live in area with a .5% lower rate than others. It took me 4 months and much prodding to get my refund. Car #2 I have handicap plates and asked them to transfer the plates and register the car accordingly. They did not to it and WOULD NOT CORRECT IT when I brought it to their attention. I had to personally go to DMV to do it. I also paid them a fee to handle the paperwork and had to finish it myself. Other than service they've seen me for the last time. Screw with me once shame on you. Do it again and shame on me.

Only good part was the salesman

The salesman was good. Very friendly. He tried to work with me. The sales manager in the back did not want to even budge a little on the offer. Instead he told me to get a cheaper car. He did not attempt to work with me as if he did not want to sell the car. Then the financial guy in the back smelled like a casino. Pure cigarettes that me and my wife had to smell through the process. I had the Cadillac for probably 2 days and it's been having problems that they have had in the shop for a month. Possibly longer. It was a brand new car supposedly.this is my first Cadillac platinum escalade and to be honest with how it this is going..i might just not own one again. I took it to service the first time. I explained the problem and it's if they didn't take it seriously. I got it back and nothing was done. I called the manager and complained and instead of being sympathetic and apologetic for how long they had my car for which was two weeks and did nothing. He said well prove all you're problems to me. Next day I went and showed my service adviser and they've had the car for another two weeks. Still have it. They couldn't even give me a nice rental to match the 100k car I bought. Instead I'm driving a really crappy Buick. Everyone at this dealership was bad including the services provided. I bought a lexus a couple days later and had excellent customer service. Only positive was the salesman. NOT the managers. The salesman actually wanted to work with me.

I have brought my car in for the same problem 5 and more times and paid to change brake pads and labor. it still makes irritating squeaky noise. no one calls back or bothered to address the issue if your service people are not able to fix please let me know that you are not the best service dealership to take the car too. i see online lot of people are facing same issues with escalade.

We had a wonderful experience at GMC North County in Escondido. We had visited the Hoehn dealership in Carlsbad first as we had been there a few weeks before when initially looking at GMC Acadia's. We had never visited GMC of Escondido when initially looking. Hoehn played the "let me talk to the manager" game which includes going back and forth for over 2 hours as we were trying to trade in our car and lease a new one. It was agonizing how long this took with the manager never coming to meet us until we were walking out. He said we couldn't get the deal we wanted and doubted we could find it anywhere. Boy was he wrong! We were so irritated we drove straight to GMC North County dealership since we had not been there yet. I called ahead and said we were on our way and asked if they had the car we were looking for. Pedro quickly looked and confirmed they did. We worked with Pedro Bernon, Sales and Leasing and Gabriel Ybarra, floor manager, both were fabulous. We showed them the car we wanted to trade in and discussed what we were looking for in a lease payment. We all discussed it and we quickly came to a deal. They were professional, respectful and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The car buying/leasing environment has changed for the better over the last few years and it was clear at GMC North County. Just a straight forward and honest transaction. Hoehn is still working like it was 10 years ago with the manager behaving as the "wizard behind the curtain". No games with GMC North County, just a first class experience experience with people who know how to do their jobs. We HIGHLY recommend you seek out Pedro and Gabriel as you will actually enjoy the process instead of dread it. Also Omar handled the finance paperwork and he is a former Marine who just knows how to get it done while clearly explaining everything. A great team of people. Bravo guys! Getting a car can be enjoyable thanks to all of you!

Excellent Customer Service

Dealership answer all of my questions and help me in every possible way of getting the vehicle I was looking for. They were super knowledgeable about the car and showed me things I didn't even know from my research online. I dealt with Jade who was super friendly and made sure the whole process was quick and easy. Dealership is clean and everyone was super friendly. I never felt pressured and felt I got a very good deal. Even met sales manager who was also helpful. I leased my car and will for sure be return to get my next car here as well. I have no experience yet in the service department but there was a nice waiting area. I highly recommend North County Cadillac. Thanks again I am loving the car!

General Manager, Barry, "You didn't have the guts to buy....

MUST READ BEFORE GOING TO THIS DEALERSHIP -This was the most disappointing customer service experience I have witnessed first hand which ended with the GENERAL MANAGER, BARRY, telling me I didn't have the "GUTS" to buy the vehicle! Everything bad about the car buying experience still remains here. I drove a pre-owned Verano that smelled horribly and the dealership committed getting the smell out. I agreed to drive there again to check out the car before buying, however they had me drive there and didn't do anything to the car to just get me to buy it. They agreed again to clean and bomb it but before they did that ended up selling it to a Sales Manger at the store! Shady and unethical and I see I am by far the only one that has had this experience. There are plenty of other Buick dealers in the County, go to one of them.

Great sales person & finance dept. service

I went there to buy a used small SUV. The sales person showed me what they had exactly in my price range. She also showed a coupe slightly above and below what I told her. I actually ended up getting a 4 door, 5 passenger truck. It's he best of both worlds. I really had a good time working with my sales person. I wish I could remember her name but I know she's worked there for a long time. I liked her so much, I searched down the manager and told him. The finance group was very easy to work with.

--MUST READ before going there-- My review is for the Bat xxxx Crazy Sales people at North County Buick Cadillac GMC that jump on other peoples cars. At one point I thought the sales manager was going to use a from of extortion to get me to buy a car or sue me or worse yet have me taking to Jail! A surprising new low for a car salesman, the "sales manager" Drew jumped on my car and said I hit him as I was backing out to leave. In my time I have been through this process a few times. I've bought 2 new cars and a lease. Also I have purchased a number of used cars. Every time they pull out the 4 boxes and ask what monthly payment are you looking for but this time was a special experience! Absolute low life's with no integrity that don't give a xxxx about the customer; these are the salesman at North County Buick Cadillac GMC. An hour and half passed, After looking at cars and a test drive. My wife and I had a seat to run through the numbers with the salesman Mac, telling him again we had a 2 month old at home with grandma and couldn't stay much longer. He walked back again to talk with whoever manager only to return to draw a Chart/Graphic and to teach/lecture us about an amortization schedule. I was surprised by this got mad then got up and told my wife "let's go" As we were followed out by someone claiming to be the sales manager "Drew" and demanding to know why we didn't buy a car but instead we walked out. I told him I didn't have to explain anything to him and got in my car. As I started to back my car out slowly I looked at him only to see him jump on my car and grab his leg. I couldn't believe this guy, he didn't want us to go so bad he jumped on my car! xxx? He said that I hit him and that my tire hit his knee. I got out of my car knowing if I left and this desperate salesman pushed it I could be change with felony hit-and-run. My wife was in the passenger seat and watched this all happen. The "sales manager" was grabbing his leg and again he was asking me why I wasn't going to buy a car, I told him it's because you guys are playing games like this. I told my wife to hand me my cell phone so I could call the police and get this documented, I wasn't going to leave this place with someone chasing me out the door and jumping on my car then saying I hit them. Holy xxxx!!!! At this point of getting my cell phone from my wife the "SALES MANAGER" said that he was just playing and I don't need to call the cops that he just wanted me to tell him why we were leaving without but a car. F' this place full of crazy salesman. Good luck to anyone who goes here because they will find a way to RIP YOU OFF! if not by Extortion!!!! This was my 1st time at a Buick/Cadillac dealership and I always held Cadillac in high regards until now.

Great experience and value for buying my used truck

I just bought a new (used - but new to me) Nissan Crew Cab pickup from North County GMC. I love my new truck!!!! I really had a great time working with the sales lady! She was very knowledgeable on the used SUVs I was originally looking for. Then I saw the pick up. She suggested I drive the SUVs first and then the truck to make sure the truck would work for me. And it did. I had a 13 year old Infinity QX56 SUV that I used as a trade in. I feel that they really did give me a fair price for it. The sales lady was very fun to work with. The finance lady was also easy to work with. I recommend them to anyone looking for a used vehicle

Extended Warranty

I have been waiting almost 3 months for a refund on a canceled extended warranty. I canceled within 3 days of purchase and it now appears they didn't even enter the paperwork. Supposedly they resubmitted the request after 8 weeks but I haven't seen anything yet.
