I just got back from trying to have the free oil service change done, that was originally scheduled by NuCar when the vehicle was first purchased. It ended up, after I wasted a trip, that I would be required to pay for the oil change since I had not reach the 7500 miles limit. This was BS since NuCar setup the service time and date 3 months before and never mention anything about the requirement of needing 7500 miles before a FREE oil change could be done. I also had an issue when the gas filler door was opened where the insert that surrounds the filling port would pop out from the fender when the door was opened. I asked them to look at to tell me what was involved in fixing it, but if it was going to take allot of time that I would need to come back. The service person first of all never explain who he was and how the service system works when you bring in a vehicle, so I needed to ask who he was and what he was doing as he climbed over the vehicle. When he asked the oil technician if he could look at the gas door issue the guy just shrug his shoulders, so they explained it would have to go back to the shop and that would take at least an hour on top of the oil change wait. BTW this was the same technician we had asked about the location of the oil filter when I was purchasing the truck, and answer was he did not know. I would of surely thought for customer satisfaction that someone could of come out and at least looked at the issue and give an honest response to what the issue entailed, especially if they had seen it before, and if a part was needed to be ordered it could done before hand, but this was not the case. Since I was not sure the guy that was going to change the oil now knew where the oil filter was along with fact I now needed to pay for something that was suppose to be a free, and if I wanted someone to look at the gas door issue it would require an additional hour wait, I decide the best thing to do was to leave and NEVER come back to this dealership. I'm sure another dealer in the area can be found that would be more responsive and more customer minded toward customer satisfaction.

I bought my sons cruze from Nucar last year, I can't express how easy they made the process! From start to finish 5 stars! The whole team was very impressive! We will be going back next year to purchase our next Truck! Extremely Friendly!

Bad service bad management the place is horrible

We brought our truck to be serviced at nucar in new castle Delaware after that broken down. We first spoke to Brandon Ladimir, he stated there was only one good mechanic that didn't have a lot of return work. He stated he put him on it . But the following day he resigned from his job . And Felicia took The workload from Brandon latimer service consultant. We had to call Felicia constantly she never called she called her once or twice in the three weeks they had the truck we called every other day almost update us and let us know what was going on . She felt like if she called us once a week that was good . When we pick the truck up the batteries were dead in the rear and front batteries were only reading 12 V barely, to make matters worse the alternator didn't even function and I want to have down the road we had to have the vehicle charge to make it home . When we called and spoke to Felicia she just stated what do you want me to do. She called us the day before and told us she had to mechanics look over the whole truck and it was already to go so I told her I don't know what to do either your mechanics didn't do their job. Truly whatever happened they don't know what they're doing and the work that was done maybe questionable? They were to service the whole entire truck look over the whole vehicle they told me they were going to do 120 point inspection for trucks and they stated they find anything they will fix it but they missed the correct amount on the airbox and the bad alternator you tell us ... We are writing this to let others know don't go there don't buy a car I would not recommend this place I would go somewhere else the management pretty much told us they don't care about our business I'll get it from somebody else well that is crazy. Something is going on with the mechanics and knowing how to do their job and the management is not that much better so I don't know how to correct this but it's really bad

Hate this place

Go somewhere else . Spent several hours in the lounge and had nothing done on my vehicle! Simple brake job I could have done myself for $167.95 I paid these idiots $459 and drove away with a check engine light still on and a xxxx load of excuses

Horrible customer service

Went friday to look at trucks. Felicia acted like i was wasting her time and she had better things to do. I was turned off almost immediately. Then came the deal. Difference of 2300.00 and she and karen the sales mgr acted like they didnt care. I ended up leaving and to think my credit was great but they lost a sale ovet the difference and the poor attitude. I will never go back.

These guys stink

They don't want anything except an easy no-haggle sale. Even for a cash paying customer. I have tried to buy several cars from these guys and walked off the lot only to take my cash to other area Chevy dealers. They don't go out of their way to make you feel like a valued customer, and their prices are a joke, not to mention the insulting trade in values they give. My advice: run away and try other area dealers.

Never going back to this place.

This review is regarding the Nucar Connection dealership that handles used cars. I have been searching for a used Tahoe LTZ and tried calling my agent at this dealer. Never got a response back from him. Went to the dealership to see the car in person, to my surprise it was not there. Why would a vehicle for sale be at the dealership right? I guess its not for sale after all. Thing is, one of the "managers" decided to use the car for personal matters. Why in the xxxx do they advertise for vehicles that will not be there half the time. Not only that, the vehicle is being used, more miles are being added to the car, oh but the price stays the same, and when it comes to doing the final sale, they cheat people out miles by using the ones they have on the paper and not the ones they have actually added to the car during the time its been on their lot. So freaking mad and I will never be going back to this dealership. Again this is for the Nucar Connection Dealership, I am leaving the review here because I was not able to locate their site to leave the review. I advise no one buy at this place ever, very bad customer service.

Did not receive tags until after the temporary tags expired.

I had to call to get the tags sent when they were all ready supposed to be sent. Very disappointed to have to do there work for them. I shouldn't have to wait 2 months for tags!!

First Service and got the upsell

I took my truck in for the first service that was not part of the factory included service and I got the upsell. It funny how the truck needs an alignment right after the end of the factory provide service period. It also needed a "fuel injector cleaning" as well. I suspect these services aren't covered by the factory provided service but it is funny how they needed to be done right after the end of the factory service period.

Don't visit, better service/price found at Diver

The car I ordered would have been the third car I purchased from this dealership. I had a car on order that was supposed to have arrived in November, but by the end of December they had no information on the vehicle except it had been produced and a VIN. They were unhelpful in getting more information, unhelpful in getting the car to me since it was so past the date, unhelpful in any alternatives to this particular vehicle, etc. They also were very difficult to work with on the valuation of our trade in. They wanted to give us $5800 for a car that was worth $7000-$7500 on KBB.com. It needed tires and brakes and they stated it would cost them $2400. We offered to do the brakes and they told us they would raise the offer, and we offered to put new tires on the car before trading it in and they said they would come up to $7250. These were brand name tires with a 50,000 mile warranty. They answered no, they would not come up if we purchased this brand new tire, because they think the tires we chose are "not brand name enough." We ended up going to Diver Chevrolet to purchase our car. Diver had the car to us within five days. We got a MUCH better deal with Diver, and they gave us $8200 for our trade with no hassle whatsoever. Just call Diver, they are the ones you want to talk to.

I'm a ford guy but the look and price of the equinox caught my attention and with the great customer service from Felicia Gonzalez-Benson I walked out of the dealer with a new suv. She made it easy and simple and was super help. She was deciding factor that made me buy the car.

Mario Yarbrough the salesman was great. He was very helpful and friendly. He was not one of those annoying sales people you sometimes get with car dealers. He knows his products and if there was anything that he couldn't answer, he went out of his way to find the correct answer. I would definitely purchase another vehicle from him, he has a great personality. I can honestly say it was a pleasure working with him during my new truck purchase at Nu Car Chevrolet. Overall, the entire experience was great. This is the second new truck I have purchased from Nu Car Chevrolet, In my opinion, It's one of the best car dealers in the area. Their service department is outstanding. I have no complaints what so ever. The service department is committed to excellence. This was my second time using NUCAR Chevrolet. Both times I was greeted by a pleasant sales staff. The second time was approximately two weeks ago and I was approached by salesman Mario Yarbrough. He greeted us with a pleasant handshake and smile. He was not "pushy" and fulfilled all my expectations. I was thoroughly pleased with the sales staff and most importantly, Mario. Thank you again to the satisfying car buying experience.

Felicia was an incredible sales person. Nucar did not have the exact Silverado we were looking for and Felicia managed to find the exact vehicle in PA. She managed a trade and within 72 hours after contacting her we drove home the new Silverado. On top of everything else she also drove my son's girlfriend to the local hospital when she had a family medical emergency when we were signing the paperwork. The rest of the Nucar team stepped up to the plate and expedited the paperwork and we were on our way in no time. every single person in the showroom was friendly and informative. The final price of the truck was perfect and we couldn't be more pleased. I would highly recommend this dealership! Kim S. Wilmington, Delaware

We were completely satisfied with all that Nucar had to offer. All of the employees are very courteous and professional. Mario Yarbrough was our salesman, he offered us a demo ride, visit to the service department, showed us everything about the car, features and operations, he also explained about the warranty and maintenance schedule. Mario called today and thanked us for our purchase and to please call him if we hace any problems or concerns.we are very satisfied with the Financial Processeverything was explained to us in a very straightforward manner. I came in to Nucar on Saturday the 31st to purchase a Chevy Cruz or Malibu. When I arrived I was greeted by Ryan Averell and several other sales associates. I had looked at cars at two other dealerships on Friday and decided to give Nucar a try on Saturday. After meeting with Ryan and discussing my needs, we decided that the best vehicle for me was a Malibu--LT or LTZ. I looked at a Malibu on Friday at another dealership nearby and Ryan even agreed to do a dealer trade if I could not find what I wanted at Nucar. We drove both an LTZ and an LT. I loved the LTZ but I did not want a black car so the LT in summit white became my choice. It was the perfect color and it had several additional options that the car at the other dealership did not have. After adding the Malibu rebate and several other discounts that I was entitled to, the final price was a GREAT deal--and better than the price of the other car with less options that I originally wanted dealer traded. I also had a trade in and did not have to haggle at all after the appraisal. I felt that the offer on my car was extremely fair so I purchased the Malibu on Saturday and took it home that afternoon. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and helpful. Finance was outstanding! The general manager was friendly etc etc. By far, this was one of the best car buying experiences that anyone could ever hope for. I know that Ryan is a fairly new addition to the Nucar "family" and he did a great job and you should be pleased to have him.
