I don’t feel that this dealership is honest They just tried to play games with our trade-in and then after we said something they came back twice after that just not trustworthy

Not sure about integrity

We were looking to purchase a 2019 Kia Sorrento for our senior citizen mother. Performance had the car we wanted at a decent price. I asked the salesman Doug Schey to save me the time doing the internet research that we can all do now a days and tell me the lowest price. He told me the price her had showed us was the best deal. He provided me with a print that showed what the MSRP was, what they paid for the car and what they were discounting. We were honest with Doug and explained that Grandma lived in Eastern WA and we were going to check a dealer closer to her home but would bring her back with us to Everett if the local dealer couldn't match the price. We agreed to let him know a few days later. We shared the print with the local dealer in Eastern WA who showed us that one KIA dealer can see what another KIA dealer paid for a car. The VIN numbers matched . Much to our surprise the document Doug gave us stated they paid $1000 less than what reality was. Don't get me wrong. The discount they were offering even with the $1k price difference was still huge. It was a great price for that vehicle. But we bought from the dealer in Eastern WA even though their price was slightly higher. Something to be said for integrity.

READ the fine Print

I don't read one star reviews which is why I gave them an extra two... Be wary of the price they advertise online! It most likely does not include the "dealer accessories and mark up". Call ahead and make sure you get the real price. I was looking at a New 2019 Kia Sorento LX V6 and found a car online from this dealership. They listed for $26,758. Shortly after I arrived and showed interest in the car they removed the price from their site. Needless to say, they did not honor the original price as advertised on their own website. Serious waste of time. All that said Doug (in sales) was very friendly and never made us feel rushed.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Great sales people, terrible fiance lady

Pleasant friendly, no pressure sale people EXCEPT see number 4 below (very unpleasant finance lady. As soon as she found out we we not going to buy an extended warranty she became incredibly rude and rushed us out the door. Will not want to work with her again. If she is the only person who does the finance stuff I will have to buy my next Kia elsewhere!!!

Very impressed with the Kia Brand

We just moved here from Rhode Island and were completely new to the Everett area and needed a new car fast! By the time I submitted my inquiry on USAA (we are both military) and we already had a quote and price range we were looking at it and the dealership honored it! We were VERY impressed with the kind service and "openness" of the staff. We had the pleasure of working with DOUG SCHEY and he was a phenomenal representative for Kia. We didn't know anything about the Kia brand and we were hesistant at first about committing, but Doug was very patient, answered all of our questions and concerns and was extremely polite--quite a far cry from the "pushy" salespeople I was used to dealing with on my last car purchase! Nothing felt rushed, and what made this experience the best was the absolute transparency the staff had with us: every single detail from car specs to financial pricing was explained and we were given and explained every possible option. Overall: I love my new Kia Optima and I am SO INCREDIBLY HAPPY with how wonderful it drives, looks, and feels! I have already told all my friends and family about our experience with Kia and they are impressed. Thank you for making us part of the Kia Family!

Great experience purchasing a new car at Performance Kia

This is the 2nd vehicle I have purchased from Performance Kia. I am so impressed with their kindness and professional attitude. Both times I have been treated with respect - not just before I purchase the car but all dealings with them after I drive away and return. The dealership is clean and inviting. The personnel are all personable and nicely appearing. I would recommend this dealership to anyone needed assistance in purchasing a vehicle.

Unacceptable experience

Spent 5 miserable hours in the dealer on Superbowl Sunday to buy a 2017 KIA Sedona. I had found the car online, made an offer on it, pre approved and went in to test drive. They sent me an email to confirm they were having a sale and making "deals they would not normally agree to" and to come in and test drive. I assumed that came from the dealer. I went in early afternoon after a phone call from the dealer. I didn't realize they were open Sundays and had not made plans to go, but thought it wouldn't take long. The van was fine.We haggled on pricing for another hour. I didn't get what I wanted, so thought I was accepting their 1500 off the internet price offer. I was going for 1900 off which matched my online offer. I thought it was a compromise.over 3 hours later (yes, they could only handle one customer at a time in signing and we were now in line) as we sat down to sign they explained the warranties, I noticed the price of the car had no discount. It was the internet price. I thought it was a mistake. The sales manager Melissa came back and told me she had approved no discount for me and the internet price was as low as they could go. The salesman even thought they had. I showed them the paper with the price minus 1500 written on it by the salesman. She accused me of writing it. we just walked out. Upon leaving, my daughter said "who was that lady yelling at you?" We were two hours late to our planned Superbowl party and no car. I messaged the salesman and asked him what happened. He had the same thought I did about the 1500, and then apologized that he had it wrong. WHy did they send me an email saying they were "making deals" not thought of knowing I clearly put in a lower price on the internet? The car was not priced that low for "final pricing". I saw other vehicles that were that price or lower at other dealers. Wasted, frustrating day. The next day the GM refused to call me back when requested three or four times. My target is to buy a car for at least 15% less than KBB. I have mostly made that happen in every car pruchase in my near 30 years of car purchases. The next day I went to another dealer and bought near the exact same vehicle for over 26% less than KBB with no haggling and less than hour on the total process. We are buying a late model used car for our teens in May, and will be trading in our 2012 KIA in early 2019. We are a KIA loving family and Performance KIA lost us as a long term customer over a mere 1500 of promised discount and a miserable expereince. As I write this today, 5 days later, that same van is still for sale and has been marked down an addition $400.....$400 they couldn't even consider 5 days ago with their "take or leave it" internet pricing. Short term vision.....

I went in pre-qualified, and it went so smooth, I was impressed with the sales staff, and I didn’t feel any pressure whatsoever! I purchased a used car, and I felt like they treated me no different than someone buying a new car! I’m also very happy with the car I purchased! I also learned I get free car washes, as long as I own the car! That’s bad xxx!!

Horrible service experience

I am on a short trip to Washington (stationed in oklahoma) and my car had a recall (i have had it serviced here once or twice on vacation in the past) during the recall they also did an oil change. My filters were pulled to show me they were dirty because i had just had them changed and didn't think they could be dirty already. Due to it falling the day before payday i declined to have them changed. This was june 27th, today i open the glove box to change the cabin air filter and the clips (3 of 4) are broken off and i cant acess the filter. I picked up the phone and called brian m the service manager. At first he seemed helpful and wanted to resolve this as no one told me during the change it was broken and i have paperwork they were in there and a picture of the epmloyee with my filter. Fastftward an hour he calls back to say someone with the same make,model and year JUST had their cabin filter replaced and he watched. He said "onlu ann idot could have screwed that up and it surely wasnt my tech of 27 years" and he laughs. I explained they are the only ones to touch it and he continues to say i understand but we arent paying for it. Orignally he tells me the tech is only in wed-friday, and on vacation then ends with "when he comes in monday i will ask him. If he fesses up to breaking it, which he will if he did. Ill stand behind it and pay for it. If not ill get you a price." I told him i wasnt an idot and i didn't break touch it. He continues to ask how i even knew it was broken...well 3 of four clips are gone. I then tried to phone the GM Danny B who i was told was right there hold on..then told he was gone for a minute he would call me right back. After an hour or so i called again was passed off to mike the used car salesman who told me he was a step down the chian..he knew who i was holding for but umm...given the time suddenly the GM was gone and he picked up just so i didnt feel i was passed off to "deaf ears." I just want the cover that was broken replaced so the cabin filter can be replaced. I have a child with breathing issues so this is a must. Mistakes happen but the lies i cant deal with. Stand behind your work kia and get it fixed. I have never been in such shock by the way i was talked to. I plan to email,show up in person and talk to GM then contact the owner. This is NOT ok.

Best Customer Service at Performance Kia

I had a week of visiting several Kia dealerships and the last one was Performance Kia in Everett. I was very surprised to see great service from the salesperson, but the Manager to be involved was truly great. I felt this place was definitely more friendlier and very passionate to help customers. Having the Manager and the finance manager be so involved with the sales person by greeting me and trying to fit what works with my pay to what I can afford was awesome! I felt valued....so much I was there for 6hrs. Hahaha This is definitely a great close Kia group and team they have there. I look forward to seeing how the service is on all my new maintenance appointments they prescheduled out for me. Thank you!

Finally got my blue car I've always wanted!

I brought my leased 2014 Cadenza in for a service appt. I saw on the whiteboard the sales dept. was looking for vehicles that fit my vehicles' description & mileage & my lease was up in 5 or 6 months anyway so I thought what the heck & introduced myself to Benny Zafiro in Sales. I really wanted something similar to but smaller than my Cadenza & sporty. He got me right into a Forte (which I asked for). They had it in BLUE!!! YAY!!! Finally my blue dream car!!! Financials went like a dream & I drove my dream blue car home that night! Such a happy experience! My THIRD @ Performance Kia. I LOVE this place! They make people happy with cars.
