Time waster

I'd been looking forward to coming here to purchase a vehicle. I laid it all out to the 2 sales men on what I could pay and what I could put down. I said I was open to buying used or leasing. I thought I made it clear that I didn't want to waste any time and if they can't work with my payment to let me know before we started looking. After showing me 3 cars, making me wait 20 minutes for keys to do a test drive, then another 20 minutes or more to determine the payments I come to find out the numbers are no where close to what I can afford. At the end he asks if I want look at used cars. By then I was over it and left pissed. I gave them what I can do up front and they said they could find me something when in fact they couldn't! The 2 gentlemen who helped me were very nice and weren't pushy, but they did the exact opposite of what I told them I wanted to do. I never got to see any paperwork about the payments or my credit score or what they would give me for my car. After waiting 30 minutes, he came over and verbally told me what the payment would be. I didn't get the impression that they really wanted my business, in the end, either. I will never return to this dealership.

These guys were upfront, honest and professional - went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. They were quick yet thorough - I never felt pressured or rushed.

Worst dealership I have ever dealt with

They should call them self a stealership not a dealership. The try to steal four hundred dollars from me and they try to blame everybody but them. The first try to take me for two hundred dollars and I got that but what a fight that was then they shortage me another two hundred blaming the bank for not realsing the title, like it's my fault so now it's been over 45 day and I had to talk to the general manager. All I can say read your paper work and know how much money you should get back for your trade because they shortage me.

Aweful and unproffesional

Horrible service and attention to detail dropped Off vehicle for a Safety recall and discussed the need for A Shuttle Back to work. Was told no problem as long as within 10 miles checked and was good to go. After pulling in to an over flowing service line @1000 30min prior to my appt. I waited 20 min and was never approached by anyone I then approached a service office full of lazy laughing fools whom looked at me with blank stare. I was then asked i needed service at the service office !!! I stated yes and that I was waiting by the back of the long line of cars . Only then did two guys pull up the several cars sitting in the service line so I could check in. At this point reminded about the shuttle I had previously discussed as I was missing work. I was sat on a bench and told that at 1030 it would take 25-30 to get a shuttle driver to bring me , I stated ok and sat there while I looked at an empty shuttle sitting in front of one of the service lines. 35-40min later I approached the same employee who looked surprised by me and I asked what's up with the shuttle? He then stated oh yes let me call him. WTF. He quickly switched to Spanish and told the shuttle driver that he had someone whom he told 30 min how long till he returned. Upon hanging up he then told me 30-35 min I said another 30 min huh. To which he replied 45-1hr . Sorry sir the driver whom I never saw show , had to drive to Point Loma. After another 30 min with no one approaching me other than. Pushy salesman as I roamed the lot. I obtained a 20 dollar uber ride back to work .nobody called me or asked where I went or tried to get me this shuttle. My initial service call and check in had informed me that it would be complete by the latest at 5-530pm . At 648pm after no call or update I called to find out what was going on with my car. I was put on hold and then told that there was no way that the vehicle was going to be complete today as they close at 8. So after 8 hrs I assume my vehicle was never touched. So I have to find friends to drive me to work as well as get my children to school tomorrow. Dodge service has never been good but . Perry dodge wins the absolute worst of worst in my book. Thank you

Service department killed my liking for Dodge

Service has been in a plummeting downward spiral ever since McCune sold this dealership to Perry. The website no longer lets you log in to set up an appointment. The only decent guy in Service is Kent. He gave me his direct email to set up future appointments. Unfortunately, someone else answered it (I guess it ends up going to some kind of general account), and while they set up an appointment, they didn't put it in their system. So, when I showed up, I had no appointment. Fortunately, I had the email exchange on my phone, so they did agree to honor the appointment. Seems like they don't really give a sh*t about good customer service. When I've left my vehicle there, I've had to call repeatedly to get an update about its status. On occasions when my wife has waited for her car to be serviced, they'll "forget" to tell her when it's done. Service team member Rudy is especially guilty of this. When their shuttle broke down one time, the driver called in to get another one sent out to pick everyone up. Rudy was the one who answered the phone. An hour later, still no replacement shuttle. Thanks, Perry Dodge... you have KILLED any liking I've had for your cars. I've bought four over the years, and thanks to your utter lack of professionalism, the last one I bought will be the LAST one I buy. If I could give zero stars or at most a half star, I would.

Just got my Grand Cherokee serviced. Polite staff, good coke machine. Kind of wish I would have purchased my car here after speaking with the Manager James, really funny guy!

I what type of service department can you keep a customers vehicle for a week and not call him and return any of his calls to let him know whats going on??? Terrible service department! Do not go here! All Morons!!!!!

Boy you guys really pulled together and made my dream truck come true, from the porter to the finance department. So many names to mention, thanks all. Mr. Perry would be proud today !! Terry T. and Landry were super bright, helpful, trustworthy, they understood exactly what I was looking for and they delivered a great value through a safe, comfortable and great value Dodge Eco-Diesel 6.1L truck. I'm honored and proud to have the name Perry Dodge Made in the good old USA, on this beautiful show piece of a truck with the link system at a price I'm not even allowed to discuss. I also would like to thank Perry Dodge's partner, Tint Samurai ( Shauwn Hillman) for the tint and tasteful graphics and Line-x of National City (Mike and Chris) for the bed liner spray on, wheels, toolbox, wheel wells, and the soft open tailgate device. They've been retrofitting all of my trucks for the last 16 years and have done always a great job as we all grew up. Car Broke Down

30 min off the lot, my brand new 2015 Chrysler 200, with only 4 miles- broke down! Service dept said it was a computer chip for the engine! It needed to be replaced! Dealer tried to fix the car & make me keep the car! I had to contact the corporate office to handle my issue because Sales Manager didn't want to honor my request! Who wants to keep a brand new car that breaks down fresh off the lot!

I will never buy or recommend buying anything from this dealership again. I have had nothing but poor customer service at this dealership. I will strive to denounce it in every possible forum. I have been blown off by management and disrespected at the service department. After several visits to this extremely poorly run operation I have left extremely dissatisfied and my needs were not met.

The truck that was ordered was not the one I received. I was never told the difference, but it was ok, Sham was the sales person, very nice, but not completely informative. I was told I could have this upgraded truck at the same price as first quoted. When I went to pick up the truck, Anthony took my old contract & rewrote a new one at a different price. I told him I wanted to pay cash. I gave him a down payment and told him I would have the balnce within a week, I had to sell some stock. That was ok but he proceeded to write up a contract and process it beore I could get back to him within less than a week, When I called him on it, I was told there was nothing he could do. I needed to speak with Edward. I was Thur. Mar 29, Edward's day off. I did speak with Edward on Fri. he was nice but told me I had the truck too long and there was nothing he could do, to speak with Jerry. I did speak with Jerry, he was nice and made arrangments for me to pay the palance stated on the contract sells. I call the payment department and recieved a recording for the payoff including interest. Nobody resolved the differnce of the price. There is no one there to iron out the differnce and further more they don't care.

I would not recommend this dealer.

My wife and I have been shopping around for a new car. We were recommended by a good friend to buy a Chrisler minivan. First place that came to my mind was McCune. We got all excited and went over there. We were greeted by a really nice gentlemen named Jose. Jose mentioned that he had been working there for 11 years. We test drove some a couple of vans the first one was crappy, a used 2010 town and country. the second one was way better. Well long story short Jose couldn't close the deal so he gets the manager. Some Middle Eastern man, guy walks in with a SUPER agressive attitude, STINKS like his been smoking all day and starts talking about numbers right away. As if he was in a rush to get us out of there. Then Jose started showing me the new Town and Country and he comes out yelling at him because it wasn't in the price range that we had mentioned. this was so rude of him. He made me not want to buy the darn car there at all. Horrible managment.. what an ass. No one should ever speak to an employee like that. the manager almost cursed him out in front of me. Jose did not deserve that. Plus the offices stink like the old couch they have sitting there, that place is a mess, WTF! they have a popcorn machine in the lobby?! Really?!
