A Cautionary Warning to any person thinking of buying a car from Pikes Peak Acura. This is for anyone who is looking at a car from Pikes Peak but especially someone shopping on the internet. Don’t do it. I found a Volvo shopping on Autotrader that was listed by Pikes Peak. A salesman contacted me and, after some back and forth, I agreed to pay $16,500. This was 200 less than the listed “E-Price”. I gave the salesman my credit card over the phone with the understanding of a 1000.00 deposit and started the 5 ½ hour drive to the dealership (I live just south of Santa Fe). A little more than 100 miles into my trip I received a call from a “Manager” named Leif saying he was sorry but the car had just sold. I was stunned, and said I was already 100 miles from home and I had put down a deposit. He said another customer had come in (after they accepted my deposit) and was signing papers on my car. My response was, “well stop them because I had put down money on the car.” He was silent and then said he would call me back in a few minutes. I pulled to the side of the highway and waited. Five minutes later I received a call from another manager. He also said “sorry” there is nothing I can do. I asked about internet customers and the deposit. His reply was, “The deposit holds the price NOT the car.” I would encourage anyone shopping online to consider that response. You may think you have an agreement, you many even put money down, but that doesn’t mean anything to this business. I can only surmise that someone came in after me and offered a few hundred dollars more. If you are thinking about doing business with Pikes Peak, realize their honesty and professional integrity is nonexistent. If you are a manager at Pikes Peak, know I will be filling a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Board/Commission that oversees dealerships in Colorado.

Terrible experience bbuying a2019 MDX

Buyer beware general mgr and business mgr are very crooked and do not stand behind anything they say they use all kinds of tactics to make a sale I definitely won't go back or reccomed anyone to them

Bad Experience

Bought the car 2017 Honda Accord all they were interested in was the sale .Never called or anything after the sale only gave me one key. no owners manual said he would call back he never did Not a thank you or anything.when i did call could not leave a message the box was full after checking out the car recieved 2 different tipe of tires and scratches on the wheels that they did not point out .Never again i would not buy used or new from this Dealership.

Car won't start

I bought a 2015 Chrysler 200 from pikes peak Acura. Everything went great for the first 30 days. 32 days after purchase, however, the vehicle that I had purchased would not start. I was told that I would be responsible for the tow to get this vehicle back to the dealership so that I could drop it off for the service department. The representative on the phone (Mike) had told me he suspected it was a battery issue. This would also become my cost. And I would have to drop it off and find my way back there after it was fixed. This is not something you would expect from a vehicle that was "inspected" prior to going on the market. If you're looking for a dealership to buy a "lemon car" that you are going to have to sink money into.... Then this is the place for you! if you are looking for a place to not have to worry about the car you've purchased and spent a lot of earned money.... THEN STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! I have reported them to the better business bureau as well as every single website or application that recommends cars for sale... On a scale of 1 to 10 I can't even recommend them a 1.

Used vehicle purchases - Be cautious

Be wary of used vehicles from PP Acura/Preferred Preowned. Despite claiming a passed inspection, rear brakes needed replaced within two weeks and emissions system light was on before could even get the vehicle plated. When asked dealership to service the emissions light to get the vehicle emissions passed for plates, was told no because no warranty purchased. We're in the market for another used vehicle but won't be returning here.

I would not recommend this dealer.

I'm very happy with my purchase of a 2017 Chevy Colorado. I went the online route to find it. I was hesitant at the True Car quote I was given. It was a great price! I called ahead and spoke with Dan at Pikes Peak. I told him to please confirm the great price I was quoted before I ventured from Denver down Colorado Springs where the dealership is located. He was very professional and kindly confirmed. At the dealership he made the experience very easy and comfortable. The dealership is very clean. Everyone we spoke with were very kind and made us feel at home. The entire buying experience was easy. I'm very happy with my purchase. I highly recommend Pikes Peak Acura.

Do Your Research!

I could not believe how awful this place was. I originally was directed to them through the Costco Auto Buying Program because I was looking for an MDX. After driving a few MDX's at a different dealership, I decided it was not what I wanted. I did find a Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland in the used lot. I test drove it and I loved it! I got the VIN and did a price analysis in relevance to current market value. The Jeep was over priced by $2,700!!! I started looking up other vehicles they have - ALL of the vehicles I looked up were ridiculously overpriced. We tried to work on a price with them and they were not willing to work with us. I have an email in my inbox from Costco asking how my experience with them was - I will be sure to let them know they need to look for a dealership who will be better to their customers.

Kacey was awesome, professional and quick to reply. I was very impressed with how timely and helpful he was with everything we asked of him, never did we once have to wait on anything and all our questions were answered within just a few minutes. We made our decision and purchased two vehicles within a matter of a few days!

Anything could have done WAS done

My wife and had been looking for a truck for 3-4 months on the western slope. We had looked from Grand Junction all states west ,even drove to Salt Lake ,nothing we wanted ,the dealers would with. We came to Colo. Springs ,we drove by the car lot saw this Ford ,very nice truck, turned around stopped, both Ryan Brown and Bryan the mang. that was it ,the two made happen, and today if we had to go back they would be the first place we would go.
