STRESSFREE and PEACEFUL!

I visited the dealer just a few days ago. I can honestly say that this has been the most amazing experience I have ever experienced in my life. The gentleman that greeted us as soon as he saw us was such professional that more sales men can learn from him. He not only gave us the attention we needed without making us feel pressured to leave with a car that day- His tone of voice and the help we received was confident and allowed us to feel at ease. Never once did we feel like running away and just going somewhere else. I will continue to purchase and most of all refer everyone I know to this dealer. I cant leave without giving a shout out to "Greg McDaniel "for being the BEST SALESPERSON out there. Never lose your understanding for your customers and putting yourself in the customers shoes before your own. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I cant wait to get my sunroof installed to LOVE my vehicle even more.

Communication about the delivery status of our new Chevy Bolt was excellent. We were well-informed all along the way. The sales process went quickly and smoothly. The GM (Francis Mendiola) made sure we were happy with our purchase and followed up later in the day with us. Austin Allen (sales) was knowledgeable and friendly. His post-sales follow up on the features of the car was fantastic and greatly appreciated. Everyone in the dealership was extraordinarily helpful and friendly. I will return there for all of our family vehicle purchases.

Still can't seem to find the title for my car...

After roughly 15 years of buying many vehicles from both individuals, dealerships, even over the phone from other states, I have officially had the absolute worst car buying process of my life. I have been lied to, ignored, blown off, and treated like I have never been treated as a paying customer before. I purchased my a used commuter car from this dealership January 11th. Paid in full, in cash, immediately. I picked up the car the next day after waiting more than half the day for them to get it through detail. It seemed after they had my money it got forgotten about. No big deal, it happens. When I was in the process of buying, I was told the title was locked up in the back, and it would take roughly 5-10 business days for me to receive it in my name. I wait roughly 3 weeks before contacting my salesman Anug inquiring about it. He acted shocked that I had not gotten it and promised to get back to me. Days go by, I contact again. No reply. I finally find him face to face in my place of business to be told he has no answer. It is now over two months of still not receiving my title for the vehicle. I’ve heard stories from them that they never had a title, stories of two titles from different states, stories of liens on both titles. At one point after going around to different managers the General store manager finally contacted me and still had no answers. I cannot urge anyone enough to steer clear of this dealership. They have gone through at least 3 general managers in a very short time, all sales staff has been rotated through. There is nobody there that will give you a solid answer or tell you the truth. I have started the process of going through the DMV legal services to take action in getting this resolved. You’ve been warned, buy at your own risk from this very shady underhanded dealership.

This was by far the BEST car buying experience I have ever had! I upgraded my 2011 Chevy Traverse for a 2017 Traverse, and LOVE it! From my new car down to the excellent customer service at Pohanka Chevrolet, I had such a great experience and will definitely be back for my next purchase. Scammed

Purchased a SUV for my wife and out new born son and was assured it would pass inspection. After the $24,000 purchase took it to get inspected and failed inspection. Inquired about getting the vehicle fixed through Pohanka and was told that they would not offer any help with getting the vehicle fixed to pass emissions and safety. Jackie Tan at Pohanka Chevrolet sold me a vehicle that is not safe for my wife and new born son and refused to take responsibility and fix the safety issues and the emission issue. I was told I have to have it fixed and they would do nothing after being assured it would pass safety inspection. Now After $3000 Windshield and Turbo repair I am now inquiring about how to get my tags which no one seems to know how I am going to get. I am awaiting a call from someone named Chris however I will not hold my breath. It is dealer groups like this that makes car buying such a hassle. They are crooks and lack any concern or compassion of anyone's well-being or safety. They lied to me to get my money and now that they have it they turned their back. Not only on me but my family...my son.

pleasant surprise

I initially came for a second oil change on my 2015 GMC 2WE Yukon SLE custom with 22 inch black rims, aftermarket leather, Denali grill and a few other perks that I purchased from Schumacher Chevrolet/GMC/Buick in Northlake in West Palm Beach Florida, June 14,2015. Though I really liked that SUV I really wanted to get back into a 4WD even if it meant getting a used Tahoe or Yukon or a new or used crew cab Silverado. Previous folks I talked to via phone in West Palm Beach, Schumacher Chevrolet in Clifton, N.J. and Maquire GMC in Little Falls New Jersey all said I was too upside down and that it could not be done without perhaps 20k or more out of pocket. I was referred to Tanya. She very confidently assured me that she can get it done and that they have something that I might be interested in. Of course I was skeptical thinking she was going to waste hours of time with some sales pitch. She came through with the help of Mike and Terry Long with a deal. Though I did not want to put no more than 3k down, I put 5k down and got the payments the same as my Yukon and into anew 2016 Silverado 1500 LT A71 4x4 pick up truck. Though I will miss those 22" black rims I am so glad to be back into a 4WD especially living and working back and forth between N.J. and Chantilly, VA. I was teased by that Silverado LTZ Z71 with the black rims in the show room and may later switch to 20-22 inch wheels with black rims, but for now I am very excited with my first pick up truck. Timing was just right for that rebate and I was about ready for a pick up truck only with crew cab. Had already had a 1999 MB 320, a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer LTZ, a 2004 Chevy Tahoe LS, (purchased at the now closed Lynne Chevrolet in Kearny ,N.J.), a 2008 Chevy Tahoe LTZ purchased from Pohanka February 2008 and a MB GL 450 2011 purchased from MB Chantilly, and then that custom Yukon, so now it was time for a luxury like pick up truck.. Kudos to Tanya, Terry and Mike. See you in a few weeks for the spray liner and pick up bed cover?? A. Wayne Williams, M.D.

Great new car purchase experience

Tanya White-Deyo was very helpful as I wanted to order the new 2016 Camaro to get the color and all of the features I wanted. After my test drive, I appreciated that Tanya kept in touch with me but did not pressure me to purchase a car off the lot and let me take my time to place my order. She worked through determining all of the specs with me, placing the order, and did an excellent job keeping me posted on the status of my car until it arrived for my pick-up. She was helpful with getting my phone paired and basic set-up and took care of my requests for additional accessories, keys, and more. Overall it was a great new car purchase experience!

My experience with Tanya White-Deyo and Andrew was by far the best experience I ever had at a car dealership. Both salespeople were very informed and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. In addition, both were extremely family and truly made me feel like I was part of the Chevy Family. I will certainly do all future business at Pohanka Chevrolet.

Excellent service

my husband had a silver do and I wanted to get it appraised so I can get a new suburban. I didn't think we would get much to cover our loan and didn't think we would qualify for a 2016 suburban. We just went to get an estimate to see where we stand and what we needed to do in the next couple months so we can get the car we wanted. Tanya came up to us and I explained to her what we wanted to do. They took the car and we filled out one form to see where we stand with our credit. While they were doing th'e appraisal, I told Tanya what kind of car I wanted and the two colors I wanted. Tanya took my form to the manager and they pulled our credit, 10 minutes later she brought keys to us and said I found something that will fit what you want. It was a 2016 suburban, I test drove it and fell in love. She asked me how I liked it and I told her I loved it, we went Back to the dealership and 30 minutes later she came with an offer and our monthly payment options.. They gave a good appraisal and with the rebates it covered what I owed on the truck. The payment options were high but we agreed to the lowest option. Awe waited 45 minutes to sign our financial agreement with the finance manager, Tanya played with my 3 kids because they were getting restless and they enjoyed playing with her. She stayed with them when we got called into the office And we met our financial manager who was very nice. He told us sorry for the wait, he was on the phone with the bank to get us a good rate. We went over the payments and he definitely surprised us with a lower interest rate which resulted to a lower monthly payment. He was very quick and he reach our expectation as a finance manager. We will definitely refer more people to them

No pressure car buying experience

Walked in not expecting to buy a car because I didn't have any credit and didn't have the money to buy it yet. Tanya was able to give me some information on how to make the car affordable. I now am the proud owner of a 2016 Chevy Malibu. Tanya was great and so was everyone else in the process.

A Positive, helpful, and exciting experience

This was my first time buying a car and I couldn't have had a better experience. Tanya was not only very understanding but excited with me! I felt comfortable, safe, and that they understood my needs and were willing to help me achieve my goal. Everyone at the dealership was incredibly nice, from finance to the shop, and laughed along with me as my parents took pictures of me getting my first new set of car keys!

Terrible Price

My wife needed a new Headlamp on her truck. Pohanka wanted $360 just the part. That doesn't include labor. I did some searching and I found the same headlamps, brand new, from multiple vendors, for $75 a piece. Its sad but you can't trust dealerships at all.

Dishonest service department

I had a very simple request for the service department at Pohanka Chevrolet, for them to change my oil and filter on my 2007 Silverado extended cab with an oil and filter that I provided. Both the oil and filter were on the passenger seat. After arriving home and getting under the truck, I noticed that they didnt use the oil filter I provided, which means they obviously didnt use the oil I provided. I returned to the dealership immediately and asked the service technician to go and fetch the oil and filter from the mechanic who worked on my truck, which he did. The mechanic had obviously tried to steal my oil and filter, both of which were premium grade. Avoid this dealership if you need to bring your Chevrolet vehicle in for service. This was both the first and last time I will ever use Pohanka Chevrolet for service. It would be a gigantic coincidence if they were caught the first time they had attempted to scam a customer, and if they are willing to do it for oil and a filter, I can't imagine bringing my truck in for service for something substantial. If you do get your vehicle serviced here make sure that the services you paid for were actually performed, but take my advice and avoid them altogether.

Best overall chevy experience I have ever had

I began searching for a pickup truck in October of 2013 and had made an online inquiry by mistake to pohanka Chevrolet. An associate Doug was relentless so finally I went in. I was not prepared to buy that day but Doug knew I wanted a specific truck and did not stop trying until he found the right truck and got me the best possible price. Dan was the sales manager that I dealt with and it was a pleasure dealing with him. Dan made the deal and the overall buying experience a memorable one. Any misconceptions about shady car salesmen or car sales manager would not be the case here. I asked him straight questions and I got straight answers. Dan is truly good at what he does and pohanka Chevrolet is lucky to have him. There was not a time when I felt like I was being handled. Since then I have been back to pohanka to buy two more Chevys because of Dan the sales manager and the finance team. If you are looking for a chevy go to pohanka Chevrolet in chantilly they will make you a good honest deal.

Let me start off with DO NOT BUY / SERVICE A VEHICLE HERE. I have been in a battle with GM for months now. I purchased a lemon from Pohanka Chevrolet and they WILL NOT stand by their vehicle (2014 Silverado). The 2014/2015 Silverado’s are plagued with problems and recalls. If you buy one you are putting YOUR FAMILY, YOURSELF and the PUBLIC at risk. I will try and update this with information as it happens so you all know how serious this really is. This is not a joke nor should it be taken lightly. The vehicle will engage into 4WD while driving at highway speeds as well as slow speeds. While driving straight and while turning. They keep telling me they have fixed it, but I have gone back multiple times now. The service manager Jeff D told me to keep a mental note of when the problem occurs. He is a coward whom would not even meet with me. I have contacted the BBB and GM told me they will give me a replacement vehicle, but will not buy my vehicle back. This replacement means I have to pay$$$ for multiple aspects.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Awesome Price

Simply outstanding! I was searching for a 2015 Corvette Stingray and Clark Sharp was extremely knowledgeable of the vehicle and he showed the vehicle quite impressively. He is a real asset to corvette sales for sure. He answered all of my questions right there in the lot, explained what I was feeling as I drove the vehicle, and answered questions I had when I went home. When I decided to come back to make an offer, Clark and Glen got me an outstanding price under MSRP which is simply unheard of on a 2015 Corvette Stingray!!! I have purchased many vehicles but this one was hands-down the best experience I have ever had at a dealership. I would highly recommend this dealer to anyone searching for their next vehicle....that just goes without saying.

Once the deal is done you are trash

Purchased an 2011 GMC Arcadia, brought it back 2 weeks later (1 week I was out of town) because the front wobbled when I put on the brakes. I have been driving for 40 years I know enough to understand when the front rotors are warped. Dealership had the manager of the service department drive the car, he said it has a slight wobble however when we got back from the drive he told the general manager he thought it was in an acceptable range. This condition only got worse. This weekend I had to get front rotors and brakes. Although these guys was friendly I felt this was all for the sale. Certainly they didn't want to have anything to do with me afterwards. I willl not recommend anyone to this dealership and will not use them for servicing my car. I have in the past but if you cannot tell if a car is in need of rotors I don't need you.

Complete Friendly Service

I purchase 2008 GMC Acadia and received the BEST service starting from the Sales Consultant, Demetric Braxton to the Sales Manager. The staff was very courteous and made my buying experience uncomplicated and no pressure. Demetric went out of his way to ensure that I got the car that I wanted and that it was ready when I picked it up. Thank you guys! I love my car!
