New Forester Purchased

Our car buying experience was amazing. We were helping a grandson purchase a new Subaru and the salesman, Eric, was thorough, friendly and more than helpful. We actually live out of state so we purchased the vehicle over the phone, Eric handled everything so on the day we picked up the Forester with our grandson nearly everything was taken care of. It was a first vehicle for our grandson so Eric was very thorough in explaining everything about the Subaru and then took our grandson for a drive to explain further. It was amazing personal service and an enjoyable experience too!

This dealership will not even call you back purchase

Just zero sales etiquette. even before you purchase the car they will not call you back. This goes for every level, from sales and parts and especially Finance. The finance person Ms King in particular when I finally met her in person just says that she never got my 4 emails or 5 voice mails. What are the odds. If you want a great car get a Subaru but if you want a personal service relationship and just overall a good purchasing experience, this is not the company to go to..

I would not recommend this dealer.

Great buying experience!

My wife and I have just completed our second purchase at Prestige. From the first email reply from Maurice, to Sales Mgr Robby Clark actually coming OUTSIDE to greet us, our second experience was one with no drama, but completely honest and transparent. We were treated with courtesy and professionalism from all we encountered. This is how car buying should be! No runaround, games, or deceit. In speaking with other customers while waiting for paperwork, we learned that we were not the only satisfied customers! Thanks to Robby and Maurice for a fair and square deal. On an identical Forester, they were $1200 higher than others

This dealer is 5 minutes from my house in Asheville, so I REALLY wanted to buy my new car from them. I gave them every opportunity, explaining the discount below MSRP plus add on fees & taxes that I was finding during my shopping for a new Forester. Despite that, they were no where close to what I would consider a market sales price for the identical vehicle. Nice people. Professional. Very expensive vs. others. I'll be giving them a second chance though in the Service Department! If they provide great service, I'll be thrilled to post reviews of that experience. If it's poor, I'll post details on that performance as well.

Excellent service

My partner and I have purchased 3 Subarus from Prestige. In 2013 we purchased 2 2013 Impreza Sports. We worked with Joe Tate I hadn't bought a new car since 2001. Joe was patient and answered all my questions - and I had a lot. Technology had changed quite a bit between 2001 and 2013. The finance person was quite helpful and gave me a great rate for a 7 year loan. A few weeks ago we traded in one of our imprezas for an Outback. We got to work with Kim Richardson this time. Kim was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was friendly and knowledgeable. Her office was warm and welcoming. She made sure the trade went smoothly and that my partner got a fair trade in value for his 2013 Impreza. She found us the color we wanted with the interior color we desired.

My new car purchase at Prestige could not have been better. The sales associate , Kim, was informative and helpful without the typical pressure to make a deal today. Pricing was competitive and selection was good. Everyone I had contact with was pleasant and easy to work with. They did everything they said they would do when they said it would be done and the car was delivered spic and span and full of gas. I highly recommend this dealership.

They sell lots of subarus...their service sucks! 0 Stars.

We have leased a car here for the last 5 years. As the years have gone by, service has taken a dive. They sell you a great car, but good luck getting any maintenance, service or any emergency things that need attention in a timely fashion...like a major water leak in the roof rack. We have had 2 major leaks on our 2015 Outback, coming from the roof rack. Water seems to leak from the rack system down the side supports next to the driver side window, leaving the roof, door and finally the floor under the driver side full of water. You can imagine the stench and mold smell. But true to form, we have to sit in the stench and water until our appointment 45 days away. This is a factory defect. Don't buy a car here. They don't care. Sad because subarus are great cars. Go to a place that treats you with the same passion they sell you one. Update My response.. They forgot to say that we would have to pay the person/ external company out of pocket for a covered warranty issue.. then we would get reimbursed.. whenever they get to it. Maybe they should take responsibility for their poor service instead of make excuses for why they could not take care of us. Returned the Subaru .. did not want to lease again. Too bad.. great car did not match great service.

Prepaid service

Still waiting on my prepaid oil change after 2 hours. Not even busy. Typical of this place. Should have known it would take forever when I pulled up and a young guy was sweeping as if he were in his 90s.

Fast Oil Change and Check-up for Subaru Outback

Great service and very pleased with communication. My car oil change was performed quickly and reasonably priced. Filters and fluids are fresh and ready for the winter season. I always get reliable service and check-ups for my Subaru at Prestige Subaru.

If you are searching for a used car dealership, I recommend Prestige Subaru Asheville. Our sales person Paul was very easy to deal with. He took the time to understand my needs and budget and let me make my own decisions. No pressure at all. I did not have to haggle. If you know NADA retail pricing, he will make the deal happen.

Best car-buying experience ever! Buck Davis sold me my 2nd Subaru Forester this time around, and his customer service was even better than the first amazing experience! Buck was helpful, an expert in Subaru knowledge, and extremely reliable when it came to meeting my requests and expectations, and putting me into the perfect car that I wanted. I LOVE my 2016 Forester, and I wouldn't trust anyone except Buck for my next purchase, years down the road!

check engine light 1 day after purchase

I purchased my 2003 Toyota matrix on a saturday. On Sunday the check engine light came on. I brought the car back to have the problem resolved, but I was told it was the catalytic converter. They could turn the light off and do a $200 dollar tune up. This would not resolve the problem, just delay the replacement of the converter. No thanks. Pretty sure the check engine light was turned off for my test drive.

My New Forester

I went looking for a used car or truck to get myself back into a AWD or 4 wheel drive vehicle after a couple of years without one. I had virtually taken over my daughter's 14 year old Forester for most of my chores and recreational activities, and she was driving my newer car. I stopped by Prestige to look at new vehicles and to see how much more I would have to pay for a new vehicle.than going through the used car route. I was met by salesman Paul Morse, who spent a generous amount of time with me and showed me how I could come away with a new Subaru Forester for the same range of payment that I would have been making with a used vehicle. I am very pleased with my new Forester, and follow up from Paul has been great. This is the third Subaru in my family, but my first new one! I am very pleased with it and hope to be driving it for many years to come. I was very pleased with the whole experience at Prestige Subaru and would recommend them to anyone.

No Charge for great service at Prestige

Great service! Ask for service adviser James Aldridge. He helped me, ran diagnostics for NO CHARGE even though I didn't buy my car there and had not been there before. I got good advice on how to proceed and offered future help if needed.

I did not end up buying a Subaru, though it was by no means the salesman's fault. The salesman was very laid-back and forthcoming about the vehicles' (I tried two) features. Just decided that I liked a different make car better.

Went the extra mile

They helped resolve a complicated purchase I had to make. They were very courteous, honest about what they could do and what they could not do, and assisted me to unravel another dealer's failure to follow through. I thought that a deal with a different dealership had fallen through because my credit card apparently had a security block on it. I took care of the block, but the sizeable charge still did not go through according to the dealership. Unbeknownst to me, apparently the charge had gone through. However, I only found out when my credit card that I used for the deposit was declined for a small $20.00 charge. The sales manager, Tony Bruno, first agreed to match the "almost too good to be true" deal, but finally improved it even though I had no expectation that he would do so. His sales associate, Caleb Shockley was very courteous and was knowledgeable in the questions I asked.
