talk about a bunch of shysters

By Realy on 8/20/2019 at 6:16 PM. Helped by it doesn't matter.

you see there internet and tv add, you call them to verify that you understood the deal correctly, they tell you a lie to get you in the door, and the sales guys tell you that the telephone sales is a separate group and they wish they wouldn't do that, but now that you are here, the cost of the vehicle is more than what you were told on the phone also.. so much more to the story, but not worth the time, it just SHYSTERS> Shyster /'?a?st?r/ is a slang word for someone who acts in a disreputable, unethical, or unscrupulous way, especially in the practice of law, sometimes also politics or business.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Great dealership, great deal with Pam Deal

By HBizzle2901 on 4/9/2019 at 8:35 PM.

I purchased a 2019 Nissan Versa yesterday. Pam Deal was my salesperson. Pam is a consummate professional. She is pleasant, and knowledgeable. She was thoughtful, and really listened to my needs and provided service without pressure. I will always deal with Pam when I purchase vehicles in the future. If you are in the market, you can't go wrong with Priority Nissan Richmond and Pam Deal.

I would recommend this dealer.

NEVER again

By Jking18 on 3/30/2019 at 10:39 PM.

I would NEVER recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. I was there last night and although we had an amazing salesman, Sherrod, who took great care of us, the General Manager Jamie Davis was insanely rude to my father and myself while my husband and I were shopping for a new vehicle. He was interrogating me on what website I used to look up cars and had the worst attitude. To make it worse, he calls me today to give me the final offer he has and when I tell him about a much better offer I received from Nissan of Richmond, he started raising his voice and said “let’s end this” and as I hung up, I hear him yelling into the phone. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I would never take my business there as long as he is the manager. You do not treat customers like that, especially when they are not even close to being rude to you. Awful. I’m surprised they sell any vehicles at all with that type of manager. Again, the salesman Sherrod was wonderful, and I feel awful he doesn’t get this sale, but I felt disrespected and insulted by Jamie and was not contacted by anyone afterwards to make anything right.

I would not recommend this dealer.

My New Rogue

By Dwelch55 on 3/17/2019 at 8:52 PM.

My husband and I have been doing business with Pam Deal for 9 years. I leased three Altimas and yesterday decided to buy a new 2019 Rogue. There is a reason we always request Pam. She is friendly, professional and honest. She even takes the time to follow up after the purchase. Pam will never steer you wrong!

I would recommend this dealer.

First car

By Squatthemoon on 1/14/2019 at 4:16 AM.

So, this was my first time buying a car and I was with my mom so I was nervous about just everything. Pam made me feel comfortable and not stupid when I asked her to repeat things more than once because I didn’t understand something. Her personality is amazing and she was so patient with me and made sure I got the right price and understood everything. I def recommend her to others!

I would recommend this dealer.

Great Experience

By Car123 on 12/9/2018 at 10:02 AM. Helped by Parker Campbell and Marty Parece.

My husband and I had a bait and switch at a different Nissan. I called priority and spoke with Marty, I told him over the phone where we needed to be and asked him to send me pricing that would fit our budget in writing. Marty and Parker followed up immediately with numbers in writing and options. We went in the next day, they had ready what they promised, but we decided we wanted to look at a few more options. They were both great about finding us what we wanted and being flexible to get us our monthly payment on an Altima. Finance was also great, no pressure, quick and easy. Parker and Marty were transparent, respectful and ensured that we knew they were listening to find us what we needed at the monthly payment we needed. great experience would absolutely recommend this as it was one of the most pleasant car buying experiences we have had!

I would recommend this dealer.

Bait & switch, mistruths, exhausting process

By Turk on 11/2/2018 at 4:06 AM. Helped by Parker (sales), Austin (Finance).

My wife and I were in the market for a new or certified preowned car and were trying to narrow down exactly what kind we wanted. We were going to check the size difference between a Versa and a Sentra, and upon arrival the salesman who greeted us said if we were interested in looking at a Sentra he would not show us a Versa, but my wife had already been in to see a Versa and that's when they paged the salesman to help. We showed him the car from the website we wanted to see, a 2018 Sentra (stock #N1635908), but he told us that there were none at the dealership despite the website listing 4 available (this was 12 days ago and the listing is STILL on the website). Parker (the salesman) took some information about what type of price we were looking for, and advised me when getting my preliminary information that they would pull what they called a "beacon" on my credit report and repeatedly assured me that it was *not* a hard pull on my credit at that time but would give them an idea of what type of loans I may qualify, and if we made a deal they would hard pull at that time. While he was away from the desk, however, I received emails advising me that my Equifax and Experian files had indeed been hard pulled, so this was another mistruth. We test drove a 2019 Sentra which he assured would fit within my maximum budget of $300 a month (they never once were talking about actual price, just monthly payment), but when returning to the desk the estimate he wrote down was $340 a month, and instead of 48 or 60 months as car loans should be, was for 84!! SEVEN YEARS!! When I said that was beyond our means, they sent a representative from finance (don't remember his name) who tried to strong-arm me and then said he could get the payment to $300 a month and flippantly said he would just extend the loan by more months, which was not an option for us. They then spent about 90 minutes trying and pleading to get us to sign on the Sentra while telling us they would let us see the payment estimates for the Versa or possibly a used car within our budget, but never did. They then finally conceded and brought a 2018 Versa, but it was getting late and it was clear I was not welcome to test drive it the same as the Sentra to truly compare--which was our sole intention coming to Priority that day. Size was not much different, and it fit our budget better so we agreed on a 60 month price and met Austin (finance) who was primarily interested in upselling a warranty, but upon inspection of the paperwork he had drawn up the loan for 72 months not the agreed 60. He then offered a $2500 0% loan for 6 months to use as a down payment to get the total loan to 60 months as agreed. When I asked, I was told after 6 months interest would be about 20% (another mistruth, I have since received this information and the actual rate after 6 months is a variable 28.74%. That's usury!). When I demonstrated basic arithmetic and explained a $4000 discrepancy in price would not be suitable, I declined and he then offered 60 months 0% interest that Nissan was offering on all new 2018 vehicles, bringing the price where I had originally agreed with Parker. All this despite being repeatedly assured they would've found me the best possible rate. I've since received a Toyota credit card I did not ask for that is already listing on my credit reports (the aforementioned "0% loan" I cannot find if there is an annual fee or not), as well as 4 additional hard pulls to my Equifax report in addition to the one they did before, yet not one from the original bank they were trying to sell me a loan from. They told me I would receive a survey from the dealership by email within a few days, but it never came. Reviewing the terms of their "free oil changes for life" that also requires a $25 tire rotation be done at the dealership every single time (as all work must be done at that dealership) or it voids the "Priorities for Life" warranty. It's just not as good as the advertisements make it seem. TLDR Priority could have saved themselves a lot of time if they had just listened to our needs and abilities to pay the first time instead of trying to upsell the more expensive options. Seven plus years is a lifetime to be paying on a depreciating asset loan, especially for a car that isn't warrantied even half that. I am very happy with the vehicle we purchased, but the sour taste left from catching multiple mistruths and bait-and-switch scenarios, as well as fatigue from dealing with high pressure upselling, I would do it differently if given the opportunity.

I would not recommend this dealer.

She took the time to make a personal connection with us and did a great job showing me all the options and how to use them. If you are looking for a vehicle, go see Pam!

Pam Deal is great.

By Car buyer on 8/17/2018 at 4:21 PM.

I had found a used vehicle online that was at Priority Nissan. Luckily, as I was pulling up Pam was outside. I couldn’t have been more happy with her amazing customer service and attention to my wants and concerns. I was not fond of the other people I had to work with for financing and for warranty. They seemed quite pushy and like I was a bother to them. Pam had concern for my questions, but when I asked questions in the finance office I was given directions and not answers. “Just sign the papers and you’ll be on your way.” Pam was incredible though. If it was not for her outstanding job and constant care, I would have not had a great experience. She came in on her off day to make sure that the car was ready and that things were in order for me when I picked it up a day later.

I would recommend this dealer.
