Work not done

I purchased a used 2015 f350 platinum in which I asked all the fluids to be changed (front and rear differentials, oil, transmission). I was told that they would be changed before picking up the truck. I brought the truck home and decided to look things over only to find out that NONE of them were changed. After notifying pundmann ford the next day that they were not changed, the service manager offered me a $5 coupon...yes, a $5 coupon...what a slap in the face. Needless to say it cost me more than $500 to have them all changed.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Excellent Sales Experience,Honest and Caring Dealership

I am rating Pundmann Ford with 5 stars because of the flawless service in the Sales Department by Eliot Starr assisted by Tim Pundmann. Never had a better buying experience in approximately 40 years of individual car purchases from any other dealer. Appreciate the honesty and transparency given along with extra effort and professionalism shown. My neighbor had referred me. I am now planning on servicing new vehicle at Pundmann Ford as well. The old bait-and-switch

the first time I went there I talked to one guy he shows me this truck I was interested we negotiated I said let me think about it over the weekend I'll buy it on Monday thought about it called up there salesman wasn't there talk to a different one put a deposit on the truck came to see the truck and test drive it one last time and they totally lie to my face and tell me the truck on the website is not to talk the guy show me it's like do you think that I don't have eyeballs the truck on the website was listed for 17 they were trying to sell me the same truck for 20 that I had already negotiated to buy for 15 they just lost a sale I went in there after work dress like a bum and that's how I was treated little did they know I make a lot of money I work very hard and I pay all of my bills

Hard to Schedule - They don't want your business

I needed a simple repair done and for them to take care of my safety recall, so I scheduled an appointment through their very helpful online scheduling tool. They called me the next morning to verify the appointment, then told me they could fit me in......in 4 weeks!!! Doesn't seem possible that a business could do a repair on a vehicle but say they are available to do it in 4 weeks. Not helpful at all and I won't be using them in the future and will make sure all of my friends know of my experience.

I would not recommend this dealer.

From building my new Ford Explorer online on Wednesday afternoon to purchasing the vehicle on Saturday afternoon was exemplary of efficient and superior customer service. Michael Pundmann received my inquiry online and called me before I logged off Ford.com. He greeted me when I entered the dealership a few hours later and gave me the most knowledgeable and informative test drive that evening. Michael answered all my questions, was very kind and considerate as well as realistic in setting my expectations regarding price and purchase options. When I needed assurance I was making the right decision on 2019 vs. 2020 models Michael gave me the information I needed to make an informed decision. When we arrived to complete the purchase transaction the vehicle was ready, the paperwork was in order and we are very happy with the whole process. I would recommend Michael Pundmann to anyone interested in a Ford vehicle. He is not only the fourth generation in the Pundmann family dealership he is friendly, knowledgeable and very personable. Don’t hesitate to reach out to this young man; he’s a busy person because he is a great salesman and really great person!

Be Aware of danger

I Bought a used van from here, they said it was inspected and all good. Within a week on road the brakes failed in the middle of the road , I saved myself with a big accident. I was lucky enough that day. I returned the van. They gave me my money back. But they are saying that there is nothing wrong with that. People, just don’t get impressed with their service. That’s their job. Be careful.

Fantastic Experience

Started car process by inquiring online. Received a response very quickly from Salesman Michael Howe. After chatting via email for a bit the dealership closed but even though off Michael continued via text to respond to questions. By early next day Michael advised that financing had been secured and if I wanted to come by and look at car I was interested in (Ford Focus SE Hatchback) and take it for a drive I could. He knew I was looking at another car from a competing brand and had secured financing and negotiated an acceptable deal with them but wanted to check out the Focus before I decided. I went in, met Michael and test drove the Focus. He, even though knew I already had a tentative deal with a competitor set, was never pushy and just answered questions which I appreciated. I was clear with him that I felt the two cars were very close in regard to preference (had a couple items I felt were advantages and disadvantages with each). it therefore would come down to the DEAL. Michael asked, as expected I give him a chance to beat my other deal. THAT HE DID!!! He gave a competitive trade in and gave me what I consider an outstanding price on the Focus. Never left the dealership. Wrote up the deal on the spot. Have to say Michael and Pundmann Ford was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and went the extra mile to satisfy my desires. Finance Manager Mike Becker did a great job as well getting mean excellent rate and loan. Overall a terrific experience. If looking for a car I truly recommend to try Pundmann Ford and ask for Michael Howe.

New purchase

First time I met Andrew a few years back I said I want to buy 2 new vehicles-a Taurus for me and a truck for husband! He replied well ok then. The rest is history. I have referred many folks to him, my son purchased from him and within the last two weeks husband and I purchased a new F150 and Explorer from Andrew! Always a great experience. Always been made to feel welcome by everyone. This time Andrew already knew what I would like but I insisted on a different vehicle. He was patient and let me figure it out! Yep, I absolutely love my new Explorer. He was totally right. Thank you Pundmann for having the best staff! See you in a couple years!

"This is a MAN'S world"

I purchased a NEW car from Pundmann Ford, please no you should have bought this or that or that's what you get for buying a Ford because that is not what this is about, 3 yrs ago and they have been the only servicing dealership. There have been some issues and recalls that have been taken care of by them, regular oil changes, so on and so forth. This past February I started to notice my car went into "battery save mode," then the battery was dead, and then the power steering went out. Turns out the little critters outside were eating the coating off the wires on the wiring harness because they now use soybean oil and peanut extract in the coating to try to be more eco-friendly. (This was told to me by a Ford service adviser while my car was there) Turns out even though Ford KNOWS they have a problem they still made me file a claim through my auto insurance to fix it, who knew I had "rodent coverage?" Fast forward to this past Saturday morning, I got in my car at 5:45 because I had to be somewhere very important and wouldn't you know it all the warning lights flashed at me, I got the power save mode message again, and then the battery went dead. I called the insurance company and told them that I wanted it towed back to Pundmann Ford and this may be an addition to my previous claim. No problem they say, tow truck comes and off it goes. Well Tuesday late morning rolls around and I still hadn't heard anything about my car so I called them and they apparently hadn't had a chance to look at it yet but they knew the battery was dead. DUH! I got a phone call a couple hours later from Stuart, one of the service advisers, who told me,"he check the battery twice and it was dead." I asked him if he had checked anything else on the car? He said, "it needs a battery." I asked him if it needed a battery for him to check under the car to make sure the wiring harness fix from before is still ok or if it hasn't been chewed again? His reply was, "well that's going to cost you more money." I also asked him why my coolant seemed low, his reply, "that's going to cost you more money." I told him to put a battery in it, look under the car, and find out why my coolant was low and hung up. A few hours later I get a phone call telling me my car is ready to be picked up. I go up to Pundmann Ford and wait to speak with someone about my car and they just try to push you off to the cashier. When I was finally able to speak with someone I asked if they did the things I requested and he says, "well the ticket doesn't indicate any reason why we would do those things." I said, "well it's what the custom requested, so it should be the only things the ticket should indicate." I asked if they figured out why my battery was dead when i just drove the car the day before and everything was working perfectly? Typically when a battery goes dead that means something is drawing the power out of it. He said, "WELL I'M NOT SURE IF YOU KNOW HOW A BATTERY WORKS." I know exactly how a battery works. I know about voltage, crank amps, xxxx even cold crank amp and I also know that if he would have said that to a man he would have had his xxx laid out on the floor. This is the moral of the story: no one at Pundmann Ford looked under my car, looked into why the battery might have gone dead, why my coolant is low even though they are the only servicing dealership and I get a "report car" from them at every oil change that says it's fine, and some man had the audacity to ask me if I knew how a battery worked all because I'm a girl and it's a car and I shouldn't know a xxxx thing about.

Terrible

Called for service, 3 weeks out. Then I bring it in, told I'll get back later in the afternoon, got back 4 days later. They write down the service calls... write down? Who does that? How bout a computer. And the service tech was trying to find my name, but you couldn't read the writing... bet if it was on a computer, you could tell. Then they charged me for something that I had previously purchased when I bought the car new... CHECK YOUR BILL! I will not buy a car from them again and will look elsewhere after my warranty for service. Whoever is in charge needs to get service guys who know what they are doing and for god sakes, use a darn computer!
