GREAT JOB!

Just bought my second Ford Escape from Rice Ford today! What an amazing dealership and customer service department. Both purchases Jim Adams and Bob Sullivan worked hard to get me the best deal on the car of my dreams. Thank you to not only Jim and Bob but also the Dan and Tina Rice for a great experience.

Paying for their mistakes

After one of my headlights stopped working, I took my car in to have it replaced. Less than a month later, I found out that the plastic casing that held the light in place cracked and fell out of place. When I took it back in, they said that the broken piece wasn't their fault and that I'd have to pay them an extra 500$ to fix and replace the piece on top of the 90$ I paid to have the replace the lightbulb. Do not go here if you can avoid it. They won't own up to their mistakes.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Great Experience

I recently visited Rice Ford and had an excellent experience! Paul was great to deal with. The manager was also very friendly and accepted our offer so that we could purchase locally. I did not know this until our visit however Rice Ford will match any new Ford dealerships pricing. I took my internet price into them, told them what I wanted, and drove home in a truck! Tt was that easy. Will definitely return!

Terrible sales department. Robert Sullivan is a scam.

Bought an Explorer and took it home and there was a noise in the steering column. Took it back to the dealer and they said it would be a safty issue. So went to the manager to see what they could do for me to help me out. The manager went back and talk to the mechanic and came back and all of a sudden it's not a safety issue and they could do nothing for me. STAY FAR AWAY!!!!!!!! They don't back their product or help the customer who bought from them. HORRIBLE. Robert Sullivan is a scam. Stay far far far far far far far far away from these people.

Rude service department

Went in today with a question on why my 2015 F150 is leaking water from the driver's side Dash onto the brake and gas pedals, was told there not a body shop and they would not even look at it, rude service man ,Did not get his name.. Columbia City Ford has no problem looking the problem which could be very dangerous, I suggest them before this place

RUN THE OTHER WAY!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!!

RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!! Whatever you do avoid this dealership at all costs. My boyfriend bought an SUV from these guys and took it back less than an hour later. The transmission was doing something weird and they said they would fix it and they would cover the cost. Three times he had to take it back and the last time they told him they would not cover the cost after all. $2500 in cost!!! They sold him a car that was defective and when it came down to it, they would not make the it right after they told him three separate occasions that they would. Many people equate car salesmen to snakes and this dealership proves all of them right. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!!

I was 4 hours away and seen the car on the net. Corresponded with Jim Adams and he sent a few pictures of this 2002 Lincoln LS white in color. The car had about 33000 miles and he said it was the best older Lincoln in the midwest---excellent condition and if I was not satisfied after seeing it he'd buy my gas to get back home. Said it was a one owner older lady who owned it and the lady was a relative of the owner of Rice Ford and kept excellent condition of the car. He also said put a deposit of 500 dollars down on the car to save it as other's were wanting it! I got there and seen the car had a headliner starting to sag in the rear upper back seat deck area and there were little door dings all the way along the right side body side molding along with some chips here around the trunk area and many scratches below the trunk opening area--- and the tires were about 15 to 20 percent left in tread and old. He said the tires had plenty of tread on them over the phone! It also had a funny smell inside of it. I was not told about the headliner, the almost bald tires or the many chips and dings on the car. They were barely friendly and above all else did not honor their commitment to give me gas money back home which I had driven 4 hours to get there and 4 hours back home. I also did not get my deposit back either right away. I had to email him and threaten to call my credit card company and only then did they refund the money. He said they forgot about refunding my money. This dealership is not to be trusted what so ever. I will never return. They do not honor their commitments and they don't tell the truth about the condition of their cars. I also saved all the emails of correspondence on this dealership. Do NOT buy here. Do NOT trust them! Stay away!

I have purchased two new cars from Rice Ford and make a trip there from Chicago and find it is well worth it. They do not play games, and they do what they say. I shoped their price each time and I have not had anybody show the service they have, or the timely responses that they have. I will remember them when I am ready for my next one!

I first spoke with Steve on line and told him what my budget was and what I was looking for. I did not know exactly what car I wanted, I really thought I wanted a truck. After e-mailing him, and speaking with him on the phone, I went in and drove several trucks, a SUV and a car. I found myself in love with a Ford Fusion...which really surprised me. I never would of used the bed of the truck just liked the looks. I love my new Fusion and would highly recommend Steve Laureys and the Finanace Manager Ken. They were very patient which I greatly appreciate.
