I love me car

I purchased a new car from this dealership and although it took longer than I expected, Kyle was juggling more than one client at at time and from what I could see everyone's needs were met. Kyle is very hardworking and knows what he is talking about. He had me set up in the right departments at the right times and things ran quite smooth. I'm impressed with my new Charger and the service at this dealership.

The radiator from our car broke,we went down to the dealership, got fixed on the same day great thanks a lot . The only thing,I asked for a replacement car for one day or till our car is fixed. The answer was NO because the are just for ICBC claims. We are customers since 9 years nver went somewhere else. Maybe not the best customers because till now we both just 2 cars Cheers Georg

I was impressed with the polite young man that was dealing with a grumpy customer befor me. He handled him with courtesy and respect. Even tho the guy was being difficult. When I was next he didn't bad mouth the client befor me just moved forward didn't give it another thought. Very professional!!!!!

Never Go Here

The sales rep was new, listened, and wanted to find out information for us so we could make an informed decision. The manager kept talking non stop, humiliated the sales rep in front of us, told us about his past career as a hockey player, what his wife drives, wanted to show us pictures of a Viper he used to own but did not ask us one question about us, our needs or anything...we could not speak...he just talked and then when I told him I was going to move money and bring him a check the next day, he lost it. He started saying that we will start all over again and that normally he doesn't even negotiate without a deposit and that we can find a different lot to go to. He got really red in the face and it was weird. I had made it very clear that I wasn't giving them the money the same day...but he doesn't listen. So 80's used car sales man tactics. So I did find another lot, ended up with a better deal and will give them the money after work today and drive off with my new car. Sorry Jerry, I wanted to give YOU the money today but you didn't listen and you told me to go to another lot. Thank you because I not only got better service but I got a better deal.

Very Poor Sales Experience - They misrepresented the vehicle

I had a very poor experience with the sales managers at Richmond Chrysler Dodge Jeep. The short storey is that the vehicle I drove 3 hours round trip to see was not what was explained to me, and they backed out of doing a deal after I spent 3 hours there going over the vehicle and it’s many shortcomings compared to what they stated it was and its condition, including having accident damage, which I had expressly asked about before hand. As a result, I do not feel the management team at the dealership is trust worthy, and would recommend that people take their business elsewhere. The full story: After contacting them about an ad for a used truck they ran, and speaking a the salesman who told that he guaranteed the trip from Chilliwack to Richmond (about 3 hours round tirp) to see the truck would be well worth my time, I decided it was worth looking at. On the call I had asked about the condition of the vehicle, if there were any things that needed attention and if there were any accidents on record. I was told the truck was very clean, no accidents or declarations and that it needed 2 new tires and brakes, which they would be doing before selling the vehicle. Once I arrived at the dealer it turned out the truck was used as a work truck, so not as clean as it was made out to be, but ok, it was still a nice enough truck for the price. It did have xxxxx drilled in the bed rails for a rack that had been removed, and damage to the cab from the rack. This is something that could have easily been explained on the phone and shown in detailed pictures. They had sent me quick snap shots the day before, but did not detail any of the the damage in those pictures. I then took it for a test drive and it ran very rough. Once I got back to the dealership, I was told that the truck needed more work than I was told on the phone - gaskets needed replacing, and that a cylinder was “dead” in the trucks Hemi engine, but that they would fix that before selling it. Ok, again not as it was portrayed ahead of time, but they were not out right trying to hide it, just not being up front about things.. I twas then shown the carfax report, which revealed that there were two declarations on the vehicle.. a $2200 glass repair and a $4000+ front corner accident. There is no excuse for not having been up front about these before telling me I really needed to drive 3 hours to see this fantastic, clean truck. After all of this I still felt there was value in the vehicle and that it fit my needs so I said lets work out a deal. The salesman then went to the manager to go over things and came back saying that, “This was not the truck for me” and that they would not be doing the repairs listed that they had shown me. I asked to speak to the manager, who confirmed he knew who I from my inquiries about the truck via phone and email the day before. He said they would not fix the truck as they had said. So after investing 6 hours + research time I was basically shut down. The dealer had multiple opportunities the day before, and the day of my visit, to tell me they didn’t want to sell the truck. They chose not too, I really think they had hoped I would like another truck they showed me, which I think is fairly close to bait and switch. Their shop rate is about $135 an hour as I understand it from our conversation about repairs. So I’ll now ask the dealer: Is it ok if I send you an invoice for 6 hours of my time that you can pay, so I can at least get something out of my wasted trip and time? But I think we all know what their answer to that will be! My recommendation to people: Find a different dealer than Richmond Chrysler Dodge Jeep to do business with, because that is not the right way to treat a potential client, or represent a vehicle or brand at all.

Beware, Dealership is dishonest with Warranty

We bought a new 2013 dodge dart on July 26, 2014, and were given the information that the Warranty would start from the time we drove out the lot. Well, we took our car in for some warranty work on June 13, 2017, only to find out that the Warranty was back dated to June 05, 2017. This date was confirmed by Fiat Chrysler's head office. On that date we were not even considering a vehicle purchase. I contacted Richmond Chrysler Jeep and was told to send a copy of the sales bill, which we could not find, however, I sent them a copy of the Transfer tax Form, which clearly outlined the dealer, the date of delivery, etc. They say they have no copy, which sounds like the dealership knows they screwed up and are hiding that fact. All I can say about this dealership, BEWARE OF TYPICAL SALES PROMISES!!!!!!

I would not recommend this dealer.

Transmission Warranty Issue

May 27th, 2016 I purchased a 2014 Dodge Ram 3500 Longhorn with ( 67,035 kilometres ) from Varsity Chrysler in Calgary, Upon driving the vehicle back to BC the Transmission started to slip. I phoned Varsity Chrysler explained the situation, They told me to bring it to their partner store "Richmond Chrysler". After Diagnosing, Richmond Chrysler stated the transmission needed to be overhauled, ( June 15th, 2016 ). The invoice was for $3,972.69. We agreed to a settlement of $1000 on my behalf and the remaining to be covered by Varsity Chrysler as the vehicle was not warrantied due to the fact the emissions had been deleted. However, It was determined the problem was pre existing before the time of purchase. The invoice from Columbia Chrysler which I have indicates that " Aftermarket PCM Controller Installed/Been Using, DPF System Removed". I confirmed with the service manager ( Bob Macdonald ) before leaving Richmond Chrysler of what guarantee I have with the "Rebuilt Transmission " from them. He informed me I had a 2 Year Warranty/Unlimited Kilometer's. May 16th, 2017 I phoned Richmond Chrysler informing them of the same issue once again of the transmission slipping. I asked the service consultant Matthew that before I bring this truck down to Richmond do i have warranty. He confirmed that I do in fact have warranty. He open my file from a Year ago and confirmed that this issue would be covered by the warranty. I brought the vehicle to the dealership, I had to pay for a rental vehicle myself. Not a problem. 3 Days Later I get a call from Matthew stating that I do not have warranty, They will not cover the Transmission and Serve me with a bill for $158 for diagnosing. I refused to pay this as before making the appointment I was assured that this would be under warranty. Now I am out $210 For a rental vehicle, $158 For Diagnosing, And a $4000 Transmission. The truck came back in the same codition as it was 1 Year ago with current odometer reading of 113,897 kms. All of which are within requirements. I am asking for Richmond Chrysler to Honour their warranty and rebuild my transmission. I have forwarded this complaint to VSA & Better Business Bureau

We were looking for a truck, Jordan in finance quickly and efficiently handled our finances. Arnold in sales were equally helpful and within a day we were set in a used truck. The truck ad a mechanical failure, however the service from reception to parts and mechanics, managers and sales exceeded all expectations. Not only was the issue rectified, the inspection was redone at no additional cost. Thank you for a true customer experience.

We went twice to this dealership on Saturday Dec. 3rd. In the morning I met with Jordan, who reviewed our financials and put me in contact with Rick, with whom I tested two cars. Both Rick and Jordan were receptive to our needs and very accommodating. I returned with my wife later in the day and we ended up driving home in a new car. Rick and Jordan stayed after closing hours to finish the basic paperwork and we returned on Monday after transferring our insurance from our provider to complete the rest of the documentation, again late in the day. Rick was very knowledgeable and helpful during the process. We felt no pressure for making a sale but instead he was attentive to our needs and interests. A plus was to find that he speaks Spanish and lived in Latin America, so there was a common ground to kick off a conversation. Overall we were very impressed by the level of professionalism we witnessed from both Rick and Jordan, showing a level of attention leading to a very good deal we couldn't find in other dealerships we visited during last week. I would definitely recommend this dealership and Rick in particular if you are looking for a professional, no-pressure car buying experience. Ricardo and Betty

Visited the dealership on Saturday since the tire light was on and I did not have an appointment. Was very busy at the time but Sadie took the time to come and fill air into the driver side tire. Was then told to drive around for a bit to see if the light would go off and if it didn't to come back again, but it did turn off. So glad that Sadie was there to help with her great customer service! Thanks a lot Sadie!
