The most deceitful encounter I’ve ever had buying a car

I have never had such a terrible car buying experience, and I am an extremely patient and understanding person. I also never post reviews on businesses so that alone should tell you how sincere I am about this. If the car I got had not been the price it was I would have never tolerated what I did with this dealership, and honestly, I shouldn’t have even with the price it was. They played the back and forth game with me for hours about the trade in on my car until I finally had enough and left because I simply had been there too long and they could not get anywhere near what it was actually worth. The run around was not appreciated. Not to mention, we dealt with three different employees through all of it - building a customer relationship is not a priority there obviously. My second problem was that after I was told my credit had only been ran once, I got multiple emails notifying me the next day that I had four different inquiries. When I called to see why they had lied to me, no one that had dealt with me previously called me back. Multiple inquiries can drop your credit quick. Extremely rude conduct in my book. After I saw they dropped the price (which they could have done with me in the first place but didn’t because I suppose they just didn’t want a sale sooner), I decided to email the initial salesman I had talked to and tell him what I wanted for my car and if they could do that, we’d have a deal. He told me he his “manager might be able to squeeze that much out of it”. So I returned to the dealership... They tried to DROP what they had told me they’d give me for my car AND tried to raise the price of the car I wanted above what it was listed for! The smell of shady was palpable. Still I gave them a chance to get right. Finally, we seemed to come to an agreement and we started paperwork. I made clear I did NOT want GAP insurance and I kid you not, every time they came back to me with a break down it still included GAP. I thought they finally got the hint and when I went to actually sign papers the payment had changed and I started getting frustrated. Guess what they said? “Oh, well that’s with GAP insurance.” They literally tried to sneak it in there and hoped I wouldn’t notice or would just give in! Believe it or not, it doesn’t end there. During this entire process, it was made clear that a family member would be the co-signer and me the primary signer so I could get a better interest rate. After all was said and done, they had switched it on us to make them the primary borrower and me the co-borrower. No one said anything about it changing. Maybe that’s not the end of the world to some, but after everything we went through it was the cherry on top of a gigantic deceit sundae. I can not convey to you enough how much I do not recommend this dealership. The only words that come to my mind are: deceitful, conniving, and fake. Do not go here for your next car.

Excellent Customer Service!!

I was looking for a car to replace my Mazda 3 2010 with 180,000 miles on it. I saw a Mitsubishi Outlander 2016 and It was exactly was I was looking for. I show up at the dealership around 5:30 and I was approved and drove home in the car that evening. Mike our financial advisor took the extra time in getting me the price I was asking for. I am truly a very satisfied customer and would recommend Roberts for the next vehicle purchase.

Poor Maintenance Staff

They'll take your money without a doubt, but don't expect them to do anything after the papers are signed. I wonder how many people get the absolute shaft here. Went in to have my car headlights worked on. Haven't made a change to the car since the buy date. We were told the headlights were after market and that was the problem and it would be a whopping amount to fix it. Never mind the extended warranty on the vehicle that has covered NOTHING. Avoid at all costs. They're swindlers and service doesn't cover anything. I refuse to give money to a town that lets a monstrosity like this hang around.

Curtis was my salesman and he was AWESOME! He was very personable and answered my many questions. Mike, the financing guy, was wonderful also! Everyone made me very comfortable with my buying experience.

Kind but......

This dealership DOES NOT CARE about their customers. All they want is your money and will say ANYTHING, they will LIE just to get you to buy. Then when you have 2nd thoughts they tell you too latell your vehicle is gone.

RIPOFF!! Car broke down on the 2nd day!!

Bought a car from Roberts Auto Center & in less than 2 days it was broke down!! I don't even have the title yet!! Took it to our local repair shop & they said it was going to be $2000 to fix it!! After tons of calls & emails from us they finally responded with a big fat we don't care & are not making any attempt to make this right!! We will NEVER do business with Roberts Auto Center again!! On top of not wanting to help us AT ALL, the customer service has been ridiculously horrible once they had our money!! DO NOT do business with Roberts Auto Center in Pryor Oklahoma!!!

Terrible Dealership

Saw a vehicle listed online I really wanted. Called to check availability and to confirm price on a Saturday evening. All was well so I scheduled an appointment to look at the vehicle first thing Monday morning. Sent my wife to the dealership, she drove the vehicle, liked it and was ready to buy. But, they raised the price 3,000 dollars. Told them that wasn't the advertised price, they blamed a third party for an error. When I called them on it, the "guaranteed" it wasn't listed at the agreed about price in their system. When I asked why their salesman quoted me the price over the phone, they replied "Uhhhhhh" and when pressed "didn't happen". One reply implies I am a liar, the other shows incompetence. When I asked for the final time if they would honor the agreement, they just said "no". I became very heated because I sent my wife and newborn on a 3 hour journey based solely on lies. But hey, they gave me $20 for gas so life is great right? I guess that was all my time was worth to them. Good old bait and switch dealer. I didn't have the best experience the first time I purchased there, so call me a fool for trying again. Either way, avoid them like the plague.

Insulting experience

Drove the 40 plus miles to Pryor very interested in one of their vehicles (financing in hand). They offered me $5000 less than KBB trade value for my vehicle and $9000 less than the KBB retail. No counter, no explanation, just a complete waste of my time. Read the reviews and don't bother going!

Bait and switcg

Buyer Beware! Worst dealer I have talked to. I called about a 2013 Cadillac SRX listed at $14,000. After I talked to the salesman Armando, and inquired what they would sell it for. He said $15,000 because they detailed and serviced it. My question is: don't you service and clean all your vehicles before you sell them? Never had the bait and switch on the same vehicle. Nice Try, NO THANKS

After driving a vehicle and planning to purchase the vehicle but without the additional warranty, "Bucky" (is that his real name?) comes out and tells us that the price on the vehicle is just the base price and that there would be an additional $2000 in fees! WTH?!?! We got up and left only to be called back twice once to say that there would only be $300 in fees and once to say that the price would be as advertised. Too bad-no bucks for Bucky!

Prepare to get taken advantage of

We got sold a vehicle that acted basically perfect during the testing process and a week later numerous issues unraveled. They applied quick rigged fixes to temporarily repair the vehicle so it appeared great just to sell the car for more than it was worth. And while you buy your car here they're going to brag to you about how trustworthy they are. So just a heads up.

Service Great/Sale Terrible

Never had issues with sales..My buying experience was terrible! Took truck home, had three consecutive months that my financing was never process and new contracts signed. I got a much better deal after all the deductions but xxxx! What a pain in the xxx!

Everyone especially David Collins (DJ) was very helpful and kind. They explained everything in detail and walked me through the purchase of my car. The process took a little time, but I was made comfortable and all questions were answered.

Try to bully customers

Went armed with information like most people to get a fair deal. I planned to trade in and buy another. Test drove while my vehicle was being evaluated. Everything seemed normal at that point. When it came to the "negotiation" part they offered thousands below the projected trade value I expected. Since it was so low, I decided to leave because of the rediculous low offer. When I asked for my keys back, they refused and asked for a counter offer. I refused and again told them I wanted my keys. They continued to refuse and demand a counter. I then demanded and only after a counter offer that was crazy on my end, they gave me my keys back. Dealerships are a dime a dozen. These folks think we are all stupid and have no clue.

Quick and painless

Service here was done as professionally as possible. Scheduled time was exactly that, I brought my truck in on time, they started work immediately and it was done when they said it would be done. They even shuttled me down to the local burger joint and picked me up when I called and said I was done. A+++
