Terrible service on repairs and recalls

I own a 2010 Acadia which I bought from Robinson's GMC. There have been a number of recalls. I have brought my car in for scheduled repairs only to be told that the parts are not available. I now have a check engine light issue. I Goggled the code and learned that there were defective parts. GMC increased the Warranty on this item to 10 years and 120,000 miles. No one notified me. When I called the dealer to confirm and get it repaired, I was grumpily told to schedule an appointment and "we will see". I had to demand that he look it up first so I did not go to another appointment 25 minutes away just to be told whether my information was correct. I also received a notice on a liftgate recall which stated that it "may close unexpectedly, injuring you or your loved ones". I asked him about that. Again, his response was abrupt saying "that is all set" I had to ask 2 or 3 times. First he said it was all set on my car. When I told him it wasn't fixed he then said the notice was wrong and there is no issue. I have no confidence in him and will call GMC directly.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Robertson's provided the easiest and most honest car buying experience you could ask for. Mark was the best. We bought A Yulon XL after having a terrible experience at one of Robertsons nearby competitors.

I would recommend this dealer.

Good buying experience at Robertsons GMC

Just traded in my 2008 Sierra Duramax for 2013 Sierra Duramax. Jim Timilty was the salesman. Was going to buy a new truck, Jim found what i wanted and we walked out on the lot to look at colors and i spotted the used truck I ended up buying. It had everything i wanted plus more. Jim was great to work with and Robertsons was very accommodating. I was happy with my trade value and the price i paid for my new to me truck. This is the 3 vehicle i have bought from Robertsons

Jim is an excellent salesman. When you describe the color and features of the ytruck you want, he goes the extra mile to find the vehicle and options you want. Jim is always there, answers your questions, resolves any issues whether it be interior color, best financing options, or features. Working with Jim is a pleasure.
