Rip Off Prices

Came in to see a late model Cadillac Escalade. Their asking price was 5,000 over KBB and they walked away from the deal when we offered a reasonable KBB number for it. The sales manager was also very rude and condescending. The salesman was polite and helpful but that did not help the situation.

I would not recommend this dealer.

The most amazing auto buying experience ever!!! The salesman Jay was super friendly and helpful during the entire car buying experience. The owner was also amazing as he ensured that the process of purchasing our new Optima was quick and painless. Truly the best car buying experience I've ever experienced. The team there is first class and makes you feel so welcome!!! ROCK AUTO GROUP is #1!!!

Terrible

I stopped by over the weekend to look at a 2014 Dodge Challenger. I walked around the lot for an hour and nobody came to help me. Eventually somebody came out to give me a price, which was about $4k over KBB. Felt like a very shady place.

I would not recommend this dealer.

I came in to look at a very nice 2008 Mercedes C350. We worked with Thomas the Internet sales manager. He was Very gracious and polite. He spent several hours with us and got us exactly the deal that we were looking for. I am very happy with my new vehicle!

Shady Horrible Place!!

I purchased a S550 Benz from Rock Auto Group and 1 week later the check engine light came on. I took the car to Mercedes Benz EL Cajon where they informed me that Rock Auto Group had recently brought the car to them for a diagnostic which they encouraged Rock Auto Group to fix the issues. SMH 7K in repairs is what I'm stuck with I would highly encourage that NO ONE trust Rock Auto Group with your Business. Shady Business always come back 3 times harder!!!

Thrown out of the store for not speaking Arabic

I went to this dealer with a pre-aproved car loan, ready and in a hurry to buy a car. I already knew their inventory and I wanted to see two specific cars only. I was upfront about my budget, I informed them I am not interested to go over my budget and that I want to see these two cars only and that I am ready to buy one of them immediately. The experience I had with the people here was incredibly shocking and humiliating, to say in the least. First of all, it took them two hours to walk me around the lot and show me EVERY other possible car, but not the two specific ones that I came to see. I kept saying, but what about the two cars? The answer, yes, let's go see them, but when we got there, it was a different car. Then, they didn't have the keys for ANY of the cars they showed me while trying the "bite and switch" method with me. Instead of allowing me to wait for the sale people inside while they are looking for the keys, they asked me to drive all the way to their second lot and grab the keys and then come back. I am a customer, I am not supposed to be sent to complete chores when I am there on a limited time to purchase a car. But the most incredible, horrible, shocking experience of all came at the end when I informed the sale rep that I really need to see the two cars I came to see and that at this point I don't want to see any other car after two hours of walking aimlessly in full sun for nothing. He left me there in the middle of the parking lot without a word and I thought that he went inside to ask where are the two cars located. But no, he just abandoned me. After a long wait, another sale person approaches me and starts talking to me in Arabic. I said, I don't understand the language. Then, he visibly upset, insists that I should speak in Arabic and why am I ashamed of my origins while I am clearly looking like an Iraqi woman. I told him that I look like any other Mediterranean, because my grandfather was Greek and however, I am not there to be questioned about my origins, but to buy a car. And this is what he told me: "We are done here. I am not going to show you any car. Because of your attitude, you need to leave right now". "My attitude" was that I *refused* to speak a language I don't know. In America! When I went to inform the manager of what just happened and he said "it's hard to find good sale people and I have to keep the ones I got, but I promise I will write him off". That was it... And I started all over again - here, this is my budget, these are the two cars I am trying to see - but he walked me around for another half an hour with no resolution whatsoever. The experience I had today with these people left me shocked and I felt very humiliated, discriminated and disrespected. I cannot even describe how horrible it was. To be told to leave just because I don't speak Arabic is unacceptable! Needless to say, I went to another dealer right away and I bought a car in less than an hour while having a smooth and excellent experience. That dealer is Auto City and there is no comparison in between the two places. Rock Auto Group should change their name into Rock Bottom Group.

I FOUND THIS DEALERSHIP ONLINE AT CARS.COM LOOKING FOR A BMW 330I FOR MY WIFE . I FOUND SEVERAL AT ROCK AUTO I SENT A EMAIL THROUGH CARS.COM GREG EMAILED ME BACK LATER THAT DAY WITH INFORMATION ON A 2009 BMW 330i WITH LESS THAN 50,000 MILES . WE CAME IN THE NEXT WEEKEND AND WAS IN AND OUT OF THERE IN AROUND 2 HOURS WITCH IS 3 HOURS FASTER THAN ANY OTHER CAR I HAVE PURCHASED FROM A NEW CAR DEALER! THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME BUYING FROM A PRIVATE OWNED CAR DEALER, GREG OTHER THAN BEING A LITTLE TO EXCITED TO SEE US ! WAS FRIENDLY AND HAD EVERYTHING READY TO GO. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!! Lesson learnt... Bought a...

STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!! Lesson learnt... Bought a car from these guys and paid for a $1000 GPS security system. Its been 3 weeks and the security system is not installed yet. I have been calling everyday and I get blown off with them saying that they will take care of it "tomorrow" or "day after" or "next monday". The service manager is a hot head and I got yelled at by him for bringing my car for some minor repairs (which they had promised to perform) at the time he gave me. Who yells at a customer for taking time out of their busy workday and bringing the car to the dealership at the time that they had agreed upon? I am still trying to get that GPS security system installed and seriously contemplating filing a complaint with the consumer bureau or some such commission. They won't even give my money back (kind of expected, but I thought I might as well ask). Please do not even look in the direction of this dealership unless you like feeling "ripped off" and "thugged" and you are weird like that.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Unauthorized Credit Checks? These guys perform...

Unauthorized Credit Checks? These guys perform unauthorized credit checks. DO NOT give them your driver's license while on a test drive. They will perform a credit check without your permission. They do not need your driver's license to allow you to test drive. Every time your credit is checked your score drops. Stay away!
