I can't say enough good things about the crew here. Jonathan Scott is a great sales manager and his crew are so friendly and easy to work with. Best customer service hands down. Juan was fun to work with and Miranda was super cool when I was signing paperwork. I was in and out with my new truck with in 2 hours which included a nice long test drive. The Best in the West!!

One of the worst experience I ever had with customer services & dealer ( well excluding Comcast ) , Body shop sent my 2016 c7 to check front parking camera , all they need it to do is to plug it claim the camera esn to the system , car stayed for 2 days for a job takes 10 minutes , the body shop provided their contact to provide updates on the technical challenges they are facing . called left several voice mail for services advisor Jason , never returned a phone call , I got through on 2nd day , he been extremely rude for no reason , said he can only provide updates to the bodyshop , I tried to stay calm and explained I am the owner and I got the contacts from them , and I am just trying to understand what is keeping the car for 2 days , again snarky rude , after failing to understand what is his deal , I requested the body shop to take the car out as is , he update them and say the camera are fault this why they are not working , which translate to they did 0 troubleshooting and let the car sit for 2 days without some one to look at it , Keep in mind we made an appointment before we even went there , so it is not like we crashed in and asked for help , any how car gets out after 2 days , body shop ask a tech with obd port access to reset and initialize the cameras and within 10 minutes it was working , The Tech was not part of their team and came as favor to Thomas from Central Auto Body, LLC , This have been my experience as first time and last time client to them .

Easy, friendly, and fun!

I purchased a 2017 Silverado a few days ago and am so thankful for the help that Lacey Butler gave. She made the process easy and fun for my two kiddos who really only wanted dinner. I appreciate that she respected my time considering I drove from Seaside and my husband from Salem to make the purchase.

I recently bought a 2015 used car from Ron Tonkin Chevrolet. As a woman I greatly appreciated having another woman taking care of me. Lacey is great and really knows and loves cars! If you are female and car shopping on your own, Lacey will get all the information you need without any sales pressure.

They're SNAKES and the reason auto dealerships have a bad reputation. If one must seek their service, regardless of what is stated, READ each line before signing. Also, obtain a second opinion. It was found that their claimed issue was NOT an issue.

Dear Tonkin family, My husband and I are very excited to tell you of our experiences at Ron Tonkin Chevrolet at 122nd in Portland! I have a 2014 Chevy Captiva, I work driving for Uber/Lyft so my car running great and safely is of the utmost importance. Over the past nine months besides the regular service check ups that Jeremy in Service suggested I do when I’m suppose to, we have had about four emergencies come up that without the quick and friendly help from Jeremy, this could have been a bad outcome for me and my passengers! I feel he is our friend who cares about us and our needs, everyone there is awesome, but Jeremy is our Superstar and we hope things never change at this dealership, we love it and will continue to have nothing but the best to say about it and Jeremy. I forgot to mention that he goes over and above the call of duty, he came out to the lot to put my brake light in, in a hurry and he stays after hours to get back to us on any questions or concerns we may have! My wife and I went to the dealer and looked at a Camaro that's what she wanted no hassle she got exactly what she wanted decent interest rate decent payment out of all the car lot dealers in my life that I've dealt with these guys are number one straight up no games everything up front no back-and-forth haggling just good people to deal with I would recommend them to anybody note the two people that I dealt with was Juan and John thank you guys so much for keeping it real.

Excellent experience with Tonkin2U/Chev

I recently purchased a used car via the Tonkin2U program with Lacey. She is a sales person based out of this location and make the process very easy. She was able to coordinate the pre-approval prior to me coming in and was able to acquire the vehicle that I wanted from a different dealership so that I could test drive it. I ultimately purchased the vehicle for what I thought was a great deal. Lacey has also been helpful after the sale and was available for questions about things such as key replacement after the sale. If you need to a used car, I would highly recommend this dealership as well as the Tonkin2U program if you are always on the move!

Yet ANOTHER super experience!

We just purchased our second vehicle from Ron Tonkin Chevy on 122nd. Our first was a Cadillac ATS that we absolutely loved, and we had such a great customer service experience that when we decided to purchase a brand new truck this February, we went right back to Ron Tonkin! Our sales man Chad was so helpful, thoughtful and considerate, even called after our purchase just to follow up and make certain we were completely satisfied. The finance manager Jon Scott helped us through the finance process with such ease, and so quickly, we were in and out in just about an hour! Such a hassle-free experience from beginning to end! We LOVE our 2018 Chevy Silverarado and will certainly return when we're ready for our next vehicle! Jeff and Bo Ditch Vancouver, WA

water leak repar

brought car in for water leak repair, said they fixed it, charged me 1775.00.....week later I had to bring car back because leak was not fixed, now being charged extra to repair leak..should be no charge...not pleased at all with this service.

Overcharge for hours of repair, stonewalling by staff

We brought our Cadillac Escalade in for a sensor repair in late October. $700. When the vehicle was returned to us the heater blower wasn't working (it was when we brought it in). Two weeks later we returned to the agency thinking the fix would be free or inexpensive...$1800 and six hours later we picked up the truck. The bill charged $1025 for labor which tallies out at 8.5 hours given the $120/hr exorbitant labor charge. We contested the labor charge, were stonewalled again and again and finally the supervisor of the repair shop gave us this explanation ... They use an estimated time for repair schedule 'sometimes it takes longer and sometimes shorter' but customer is charged according to the schedule, not actual time the repair took. We were charged for 2 and 1/2 hours that our truck wasn't even in the shop! Again we were refused an adjustment on the bill. We had requested a $300 refund. $2500 in two weeks...over $4000 2017 alone. We won't be returning. Below, quality of work =poor

Warranty service

Bought my new Travers from them, brought back for warranty service power steering start acting at 5K, but they keep lying and won't fix a problem, also one seat got stuck and they told me that's how it should be, had to come back second time to prove they are wrong, than they fixed a seat but gave me paperwork saying that there is nothing wrong with a seat, while working on seat they pulled plastic cover off and left it laying there

Recommend changing everything under the hood

My tire pressure indicator light was on. A well known tire shop tested the sensors and said they were fine, which seemed right since they were very new. They said it was likely a computer issue and recommended I take it to a dealer. I took it to Tonkin, explained the issue and that the hub was likely going out. They diagnosed the issues and recommended hub replacement ($300 more than the tire shop), four new sensors (already new), tire rotation due to excessive uneven ware (1500 miles on the new tires), new spark plug wires (changed 6 months ago) and a lot of other services based upon mileage. I can understand the mileage recommendations since they have no idea what has already been done, but several of the other recommendations were completely unnecessary and expensive. One BS recommendation ruins my trust in the rests. I'll go back to Alan Webb.

Bought new corvette, low on fluids that i had to top off on the way home after spending 56 grand. Horrible service when i returned for service.
