TOO MUCH PRESSURE

If you want sales pressure, then this is the dealer for you! If not, then stay away! When I first pulled into the parking lot, a lot of the salespeople were outside. I almost turned around and left; in which I should have. I sat in my car for a minute, and a salesman started walking toward my car. YIKES! I got out of my car quickly, went the opposite way, and a salesman followed me and told me no one is allowed to walk the property alone because of damage to their vehicles. REALLY? I went along with it...STUPID ME! I told him at the beginning that I was only looking, but he kept trying to sell me a car. I finally had enough and told him that I was all set. He asked me if he could give me his card, I agreed. He went into the building and came out with the manager. REALLY? The manager began to try to sell me a car. TOO MUCH PRESSURE! I told him that I was just looking and would call the salesman if I changed my mind; in which I will not! Again, if you like this kind of treatment, then this is the dealer for you!

My experience with Tony was one I will never forget. I told him what I was looking for in a vehicle and the price I wanted. After a short time of a test drive and discussion of a deal, I got the car and the cost very close to what I wanted and drove home in a new 2017 Camry XLE. But it was talking with Tony in between the "deal" that was so rewarding. Rte. 44 Toyota is very fortunate to have this true professional as a sales consultant. You're the best. Thank you so much.

Very satisfied great customer service

Went there looking for a vehicle, found one I was interested in. After the test drive Bobby and I talked numbers until I was comfortable with the price. He was very knowledgeable on the vehicle and the facts on the history of the car. He made it very easy for me to purchase my first vehicle from Toyota. All the staff that helped in the process of the purchase of my car were very helpful and pleasant, I would recommend Rte44 Toyota to anyone looking for great customer service and nice vehicles!

No Pressure

Josh was very friendly,helpful and understanding. He listened to everything we told him we wanted and needed in our new to us vehicle. He wasn't pushy at all and never once did he try and push or persuade us into something that wouldn't have worked for us or our family. As a matter of fact he listened so well that the first car he pulled for us to look at was the only car we needed to see that day. First he pulled a Toyota and we are a Toyota kind of family ,I didn't tell him that so that was a win on his part. Two, he made sure the price and miles were right for us and that it fit ALL the requirements I gave him. He even respectfully and patiently endured a test drive with our screaming and crying toddler in the back seat. Then when we were leaving I noticed something with the car that I hadn't before, Josh made sure the concern I had was taken care of with out any problem.

Service center rude

This is not a reflection of Gary Lombards customer service. He was nice. When I went to pick up my Toyota today from the service center as soon as I walked in I got dirty looks. The men there act like you are bothering them. They are rude and we're very short with me. I was just picking up my car! No reason to be so rude to me! When I had a question about the tire the man looked like he was about to chew my head off. I'm a hairdresser and work with the public I've never been so mistreated in my whole career and that's saying a lot in my line of business. They made me feel so uncomfortable that I rushed to get out of there and didn't fully look over my bill. I have been charged for a patch on a tire they ended up not being able to fix I got a new tire instead. Now I have to be Inconvenienced and try and figure out why I have been charged for it. When I tried to call about it no one could give me an answer and told me I have to talk to Gary and was told he won't be back until Monday even though he called me this morning to tell me my car was ready. Other then the get my bill fixed I'll never go back here.

Poor customer service

I am a female who went here looking to purchase a 4 Runner. I was informed by the male salesperson that I did not want that vehicle because it rides like a truck and that I would want a Highlander. He apparently didn't see me pull up in a truck that i was driving and own. That showed no respect nor customer service as my interest was dismissed. I went to another dealership and purchased a 4 Runner and I couldn't be happier with it. I'm glad I dismissed the salesman pitch.

Disappointed - What happened to this place?

What happened to this place? I went here with full intentions of getting into a new vehicle. (purchased last Toyota here). The CS was horrible, and negotiations a joke. Went to Braintree Toyota same day and bought same day! Never heard a word back from RT 44. Disappointed.

What a great place to shop

I was looking at buying a convertible. Had been to a few dealerships and was rather annoyed by the time I strolled into their lot. i walked onto the lot just to look at a few cars and had no intention of buying. Ben my salesman was awesome. Grabbed keys to cars and let me look at what ever I wanted. I ended up finding one that hadn't gone through service or recon yet. They still got the keys and let me take it for a spin. The sales negotiation was simple. John the sales manager came right over and in about 5 minutes we had agreed on a price. No hours worth of back and forth. Just a simple negotiation. Filled out paperwork and left a deposit so they could get everything in order. The next morning I get a call from Dave in finance. He has my loan approved and quotes me a rate. It's lower than I expect given this being a second car and my credit taking a hit with my divorce. That afternoon when I walked in to finish the paperwork, Dave met me and told me he had great news. The rate he quoted me earlier well it wasn't good enough so he made a few calls and got me an amazing rate. He managed to get me a lower rate than I have on my new truck. The whole process was a breeze. Everyone here truely made you feel that your business was appreciated. I will only make the one criticism that while my salesman was great when I was buying the car, once the paperwork was all set he seemed to not care. I can't drop a rating on a review for one thing when there were so many great people here. I may just need a new salesman next time.

Great Car Buying Experience

I had bought two cars years ago from John Brownell. When my current car was totaled I decided to look into a new Rav4. I was pleased to see John was still there (now the manager). I called John and he set me up to see Derek Matos. I must say dealing with Derek was a pleasure. He was very friendly, polite and well informed. He took the time to explain all about the car. Answered all of our questions. He was very easy going and there was absolutely no pressure whatsoever from Derek. He allowed my wife and I to take the time we needed to discuss our needs. We quickly arrived at a price and bought the car. Dealing with Derek made this a very easy experience. I would not hesitate to buy another car form Derek. One of the best car buying experiences I have encountered. Also would like to thank John Brownell for his help. He is also very polite, friendly and extremely pleasant to deal with. It was nice dealing with John again. Highly recommend dealing with both John and Derek.

Don't even waste your time

I went in to get an appraisal on my trade and a quote on a lease only to have been told, because I wasn't planning on buying or leasing THAT day, that it was a waste of their time and did not receive either the appraisal or a quote... What a terrible way to do business. Not sure how this place is still in business operating like that.

Extremely disappointing experience

I am completely disappointed with the lack of service with this dealership. I have been a loyal Toyota customer and have bought 3 vehicles from this location. I was called by a Sales Rep about trading my 20014 RAV4 in for a 2016 RAV4 ( I lease). I wanted to continue with the same monthly payments which the dealership had advertised from the get go. I went to the dealership and spoke with Shawn and he basically informed me that they use this tactic to get customers in the door--needless to say I was extremely disappointed as the best thing they could do would be to increase my payments by $100 a month. I then received a call 2 weeks later from Shawn informing me that they could do the deal and I would just come in so the Used Car Mgr can have a look at my vehicle and we can sign that day. (FYI...Used Car Mgr has already seen my vehicle from the prior visit). I miss a day's worth of work and drove up to Rte. 44 thinking the deal was done....I then get told by Shawn that unfortunately they cannot do the deal because they did not have any promotions from Toyota going on and they would not qualify (dealership) for the kickback????? I get a phone call 2 months later from Kris asking me if I was still interested in doing a deal from the original request. I expressed my frustration with Kris and told him how disappointed I was with the lack of service from his company and I would go elsewhere. Kris assured me he would rectify the problem and would inform management of my frustration. I told Kris I was open to still doing business with Rte 44 and I did not want anything else besides the original deal. He promised a phone call to at least tell me the resolution of the problem and never received one and once again have been disappointed with this dealership. I will tell everyone who reads this that I am not one to express my frustration on Yelp or social media. I understand that all companies are entitled to mistakes and should be given the chance to rectify any issues. Unfortunately I will never do business with the dealership ever again--after purchasing 3 vehicles in the last 10 years I would think they would take care of there loyal customers.
