Exceptional Experience at Royal Hyundai

Samantha, in sales, was the utmost professional, and listened to what we wanted and provided the exact brand new vehicle we were dreaming of. She was not pushy at all and we truly appreciated the thorough walk-through she gave us as we were completely new to most of the features (our previous car was a 2008 Accent with manual everything). We left the lot feeling totally comfortable driving in our wonderful, new 2017 Santa Fe Tucson. It is a beautiful, stunning vehicle and we absolutely love it. We are a Hyundai family and are so happy we discovered the stellar service at Royal Hyundai in Oneonta.

Excellent customer service. I’m a very busy person & was unable to spend much time at the dealership. Erica worked with me over the phone negotiating and keeping me informed. When we settled on a price the car was ready, paperwork was organized and ready for signatures. I spent very little time at the dealership making this purchase a breeze. I never felt pressured and was allowed time to make decisions.

Elantra SE with manual

Fast and courteous service. Manual transmissions were not easy to find. Had my car in less than a week. On the day of pickup Geico computers were down so couldn't transfer my insurance and plates. Sent home with dealer plates and Scott the manager brought my plates and temporary registration to my home later that day

Do Your Homework Before Buying From Any Dealer

Do not rely on the dealership to know all the details of the car you are interested in buying. I found across many dealers that they do not even read the window stickers as to give you correct information about the vehicle you are interested. Go to a dealer AFTER you've done research about the details of the car (where it was manufactured, if it comes with spare tire, bluetooth, Sirius XM radio trial, gift card just for test driving a car and any other promotion they may offer on their website. The salespeople are usually not up to speed on the latest details of your vehicle so do your homework and know the car you want to buy. I even read the user manual which can be downloaded BEFORE I bought the car. Use the salespeople to get you a test drive, order a vehicle from another dealer, add features and buy the car.

Good service/Nosy neighbor

Jim Westcott and Jeremy Hoyt were professionals who fulfilled my expectations in the car purchase process. Prior to my arrival another salesman from a different building confronted my wife inquiring why she(we) were buying the car from Jeremy and Jim when he was the actual Hyundai salesman. The issue was handled by Jeremy without further controversy or comment. When I got to the dealership to close the deal I found out about the comment made by the other salesman. Since Jeremy assured me that he had handled the problem I chose to do nothing. However had I been present to hear the comment rather than my wife that might have become an unpleasant situation.
