I sent a request for information on a Ford Expedition to Rusty Eck Ford through cars.com on February 9, 2018. Later that day I received a wonderful video from Doug Ford. Doug told me about the Expedition and literally videotaped the outside and inside of the vehicle. I let him know that I had not purchased a vehicle since 2008 and had never looked for a vehicle on the internet. I did not realize that they were in Kansas. He assured me that they deliver anywhere. He was absolutely a wonderful salesman. Shawna Behen reached out to see what my trade in value would be not knowing that my vehicle was totaled but she reached out via email and I truly appreciated the email. Aimee also reached out to see if I needed anymore information. Yesterday I was able to find a used Expedition in my town but I would use Rusty Eck Ford. Great service.

Heater problem on 19 degree day

Brian at the service desk along with tylor in the service department are obviously very customer concerned,I pulled in on Saturday,explained my problem with my heater blowing cold air on this 19 degree day.Brian said he would have it looked to see what could be done.Brian andtylor worked together and finally determined the apparent problem was a software update and they installed the original program,corrected the problem and tylor said they would report the problem to ford and I was able to leave with my problem solved. I appreciate the effort they put into this,I certainly realize they could have done the same as so many have done to me in the past (not a trusty eck) and told me I would have to schedule an appointment Monday morning,and left me stranded until Monday.I am sure glad I went ahead and brought it in when these two were on duty.Thanks Brian and tylor and rusty. Spamming my cell phone

I scheduled my car for a recall, just the recall. Today, Saturday afternoon two days before my scheduled repair, I get a test message that reads: Hey! My name is Jack Reynolds and I have just been transferred to Rusty Eck from England! I’ve been assigned your account and I see you have a service booked with us soon. I’m here to launch the end of year hurricane grant for Ford and basically I am running huge rebates and for the first time ever 0% interest! Usually it’s only one or the other. If you wanna save some service costs then hit me up and I’d love to go over some options with you! Have a great day!. Really? I am not nor am I buying a vehicle and never gave anyone permission to spam me. This is incredibly poor taste and judgement. I proceeded to cancel my appointment and will never return to Rusty Eck.

Amazing customer service

My wife and I were treated amazing but rusty eck ford and everyone that we came in contact with. During the process of purchasing a new vehicle we were unable to get approved for financing. Durning the next week we had plenty of contact with our salesman Kareem. He explained to us that we were going to need to put an extra 4,000 down in order to keep the truck. A few days before we totaled our other vehicle and were down to one car. The people at rusty eck ford knew that we were not going to be able to come up with 4,000 dollars. They understood our situation and helped us out by allowing us to return the vehicle for our trade. I cannot thank the people at rusty eck ford enough for what they have done for my wife and I. Will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle.

Very unhappy customer

I walked into this dealership to schedule a time to bring my truck in to check why the check engine light is on. I have to add the motor was completely replaced only 4 weeks prior. I also need to add the work was done in Connecticut as I travel for a living. First question was did we do the new engine. I told them it was done in Hartford Ct. he proceeds to tell me there will be a 149.99 diagnostic charge. Are you kidding me just to look at the truck. I then asked well ok will that fee be applied to any repairs that may need to be done. I was told no it is the diagnostic fee any work will be extra. So I left who in their right mind will pay 149.99 just to have an engine that is guaranteed for 3 years looked at. I walked out. Well a week later I called them and explained I was there last week and the conversation we had. I then said if I come in for an oil change ( by the way always around 120.00$) Will they at least check it out and see why the engine light is on. Again I was told nope 149.99 to diagnose the issue. I'm floored to think this dealership can practice this policy. I've worked in at least 42 states and have had my fords serviced in probably most of them and I have never been told there is a 149.99 fee just to look at my truck. I hope the locals are not paying this crazy fee but what may be worse is if this is their practice to out of towners then shame on them. . I called another dealership in town and they were more than happy to take a look free of charge even booked me for a Saturday due to my work schedule.

F-150 FX4 Purchase

I had a wonderful experience with my last purchase at Rusty Eck Ford. I purchased a used F-150 FX4. My salesperson was Brian. He was extremely friendly and easy to work with. I loved the truck from the moment I saw it so I knew that I was going to get it. Paperwork went smoothly. They were very fair on my trade, a 2015 Toyota 4 Runner. The truck was clean and ready to go. Finance was quick. I worked with Gabe and again he was very friendly. In all, my experience was great. I got the truck I wanted for the price I wanted to pay. I would recommend this dealership easily.

Promises broken and sent away, Shady sales practices

I was reassured repeatedly by both sale agent and his supervisor that it would be no problem and don't worry I will get you into a new truck with my trade in. Two hrs later was sent away, shady sales practice. If you promise that you can't follow through you should not be in business!

Sales Manager!

The sales manager gave me 19k for my trade in and my back has told me the trade in value for my truck was 24k so they have screwed me out of 5k and then i told them where i wanted my payments and the only thing they did was extend my loan out for 84 months instead of 72 months. worst customer service they i have experienced. I even tried to call the manager directly and he laughed in my face and did not want to work with me. I will never be buying a car from this place ever again!!

I recently had my F350 serviced. As usual I went to see Chris Fontes I showed up with no appointment and was told it was not a problem. He got me in serviced my truck and got it done. Not only that it was cleaner then when I dropped it off. My experience was over and above what I expected. Great job thanks Chris

Excellent service from Glen Williams

Mr. Williams helped find rims and tires for my vehicle after an accident Christmas Eve. He called Topeka to confirm they had the second rim I needed as he just had one in stock. He arranged for the front end service person to handle an alignment and make sure nothing else was damaged. The service man was Shawn. In addition, they test drove the vehicle and advise of other possible service that might be needed. This was greatly appreciated and I am very satisfied. Thank you. Ron Nelson

Exceptional Service from Adriane Correa

I recently had my car serviced at Rusty Eck. Adriane Correa was my service coordinator, and she was outstanding to work with! I took my car in to have my backup camera repaired, but I knew that my low tire pressure light was on. I didn't mention this to her, but when I picked up my car, they had put air in my tires. I didn't ask for this service, but they saw a problem and fixed it for me at no charge. I was very impressed by the service. They didn't need to put air in my tire, but they cared enough to do so! They really cared! I have done business in the past with another Ford dealership in Wichita, and I was treated poorly and with disrespect. Adriane was so kind and extremely helpful. I highly recommend her and Rusty Eck Ford. Thank you, Adriane!

Best Service Department (Quick Lube) in Wichita! 10 Stars!!!

I have had all of my cars serviced here at the Quick Lube in Wichita for over 20 years. The service by the techs has always been excellent/superior/exceptional! and likewise with the customer service from the personal advisors. The prices are competitive, and I have always been able to get in and out in the same day. Marcus ("Mack") McIntyre has been my latest personal advisor, who always provides exceptional customer service with a smile, listens intently to all of my needs, always talks about the service so the person can understand what he is talking about, and offers tech service suggestions as options, without any pressure. I have observed Mack's distinguished professional service time and time again, not only with myself, but with all other customers as well. I recall last year during an ice storm that my brakes had worn down to the rotors, and the techs and service advisor Manny stayed over 2 hours after closing hours, just to make sure I made it home safely. I cannot say enough nice things about the exceptional tech & personal advisor customer service I have received from the Quick Lube service department. Thumbs up! & 10 Stars for the team!

Truck, (F150) Servicing

I was early for my appointment, nevertheless Mr. West accommodated me and handled the situation accordingly, my standby time was kept to a minimum and the service of my F150 was what I expected. Windshield replacement and 2 years of great service

Ray Vick Your review will be posted publicly on the web. Learn more I purchased a F150 from Rusty Eck a couple of years ago and it was a pleasant experience. I was assigned a service advisor, Adriane Correa, and I have been very satisfied every time I take in my truck for service. Adriane is very knowledgeable and keeps you appraised of how the repairs are progressing and about when your vehicle will be ready. A couple of weeks ago I took my truck in for a windshield change due to a crack that was growing and putting out additional cracks. Long story short Adriane spent a couple of days getting my insurance company the data they needed to cover the replacement that definitely went above and beyond the call of duty. I highly recommend getting vehicles from Rusty Eck and/or getting your vehicle serviced at Rusty Eck. Try to get Adriane Correa as your service advisor as she is the very best. Ray Vick
