Brought my car here for it's first service , convenient location, and someone came right out to bring my car into the garage. It was ready within a few hours, and since I have the maintenance contract with my lease, it was all paid for. Nice experience overall.

Whoa This is as good as it gets

My wife and I would like to give a big thank you RYE FORD/SUBARU. In particular to Michael I. Ferits who went above and beyond with his professionalism, his knowledge and what we respect above all, a man who kept his word. We recently purchased a 2019 SUBARU LEGACY with certain accessories. Needless to say Michael delivered on time with no excuses, bells and whistle. We would also like to thank the General Manager (MIKE) and his team. If you want excellence in service go to RYE FORD/SUBARU. You will not be disappointed.

Rude service personnel who refused to give us information.

My wife & I purchased a new Subaru Forester LL Bean Edition. We have been experiencing blown headlight bulbs for the past two to three years. Our mechanic informed us that this is not uncommon with Subaru headlights and told us that we needed to purchase two new headlight housing assemblies. We needed to know if the headlight housing assemblies were different in the LL Bean edition than in the other Forester models for that year. I called on 01/16/2018 just before closing and spoke to someone in the service department. He told me that to give us that information he would need the VIN # of the car. I told him that I would contact him the next day. My wife called the next day and spoke to someone in the service department who told her that he would have to look that information up. When my wife informed him that she was aware of that and let him know about the conversation from the day before he told her that he could not give that information and that we would have to purchase the part from Rye Subaru. I then called SOA and reported this dealership. We do not have to purchase parts from them and for them to say that we would have to in order to get a question answered is a real money grubbing thing to do especially after we bought the car from them.

outrageously rude, disgusting treatment

I did not like the pushy, rude sales managers on the floor so I looked elsewhere but returned after a woman from the front office called to woo me back in, promising to honor all the details of a better offer I got from a competitor if I would only do business with them. I came in, and worked out a satisfactory deal with a saleswoman - as I was about to pay the down payment a bullying lout intruded on the interaction, splaying his body over the computer keyboard between me and the saleswoman, changing the terms of the deal at the last minute, yanking paperwork from her hand and from mine when I questioned him. His conduct was extremely inappropriate - belittling, bullying, and his behavior was shockingly out of control -prancing around, making a mockery of himself the saleswoman not to mention the dealership with a you-dare-to -ask -me -a -question-temper tantrum asking “oh yeah, who told you could get this deal” (Nevermind that it was a woman above him who called ME in with a promise to honor all the deatails of the deal I was about to pay for). Apparently he could not tolerate what the women had worked out- he actually shouted OH YEAH WELL THERE’S THE DOOR- although everyone was in shock at his public display, not one person said a word to correct him or apologize to me or the saleswoman for their employees’ out of control behavior, nor has anyone called or contacted me since.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Above and beyond customer service

I have worked with salesman Neil Downing for almost 20 years because he provides the absolute best customer service. He is always responsive, listens to my needs and comes through for me with exactly the right car for me. He is very knowledgeable and a total pleasure to work with. I could lease a Subaru anywhere but I will only do business with Neil.

Hate to be ignored

Horrible dealership. Sales staff is more interested in their cell phones than in providing customer service. They dont listen, and IF you finally find a vehicle on your own the sales games begin. My intemded purchase felt like i was inconveniencing my salesman. We left and bought our vehicle at Garavel in Norwalk later that day

First class service buying used car

An all-around excellent experience. We were looking for a used Forester within a certain price range. Neil Downing said he would let us know if something came in. About a week later he called with one and suggested we put a tiny deposit on it over the phone to hold it since they move fast. He let us take it out for as long we liked, answered all our questions and was a pleasure to deal with. The whole team there was great. Gave us a good price for our quite old Forester. Handled all the paperwork quickly and took care of a few things we had spotted including replacing the windshield and giving us a couple of bottles of touch up paint--no charge.

Neil Downing helped me with my lease for a Subaru Crosstrek. It was so easy working with him. Once I signed he showed me everything how to use my car. Easy, Honest, and Fun

We just bought our first new car ever! Our salesperson was Neil Downing. When we started looking for the Forester we wanted, Neil was very helpful. He told us a lot about the cars, and the company in general. He let us go out on a great test drive, and there was NO pressure. (We were reminded that Subaru cars really sell themselves.) After a long and thorough search, we could not find the color and options package that we wanted. So then it became time to order a new one- a 2017. They made it really easy, and the car arrived in about eight weeks, as expected. Every option, and every detail are exactly what we wanted. We were offered 0% financing on the day we went to pick it up, and everyone was polite and efficient. I regret that I don't remember the name of our financing agent too. We are so happy with the car and with the dealership experience. These folks are REAL, and easy to deal with. Thank you, Rye Subaru.
