I took my car there on Friday. Service writer told me part was coming from Cincinnati, OH. Mechanic told me he didnt work on Saturday and the service dept is open on Saturdays so my car wont be fixed & is held up til Monday. Im like ok, but Brown Brothers Cadillac said they could do the job on Monday. Parts clerk said part was then coming from St. LOUIS on Monday morning. I called back to check on status and parts mgr told me its coming from Charlotte, NC. I was just called by parts mgr after 4:30p.m. & told part isnt due for delivery til tomm by 430pm...part was originally suppose to be overnight and the on Saturday. No one seems to know what to do, who to talk to and NO COMMITMENT TO THE CUSTOMER. THEIR WORD, QUALITY and TRUSTWORTHINESS is ending up to be not worth bringing ANY vehicle here EVER. I could have taken my car to Brown Brothers Cadillac and had it serviced by now. Do you think this is the way a customer should be treated????

Liar, Liar

Worst dealership experience ever. Finance person lied about the fees/taxes. Sales manage was rude and disrespectful. We found out the truth AFTER the sale or we would have never purchased a car from them!

"Mo" was the man!!!

I hate to buy cars!!! Looking for a car on New Years Eve, stopped by Courtesy Cadillac (Sam Swope) because we saw one on the website. Walked in the dealership and Mo (Maurice Noble) walked up and greeted us so nice, not like the typical car salesman (fake). He showed us the car, test drove with us then started the dreaded discussion. He was up front and to the point and HONEST. The entire deal took just a little over 90 minutes and we were out the door with our 1st Cadillac. I don't know how long it will be before #2, but I hope that Mo is there to handle the deal. The rest of the staff we talked with was extremely nice and helpful. Only issue was the extended warranty cost was not totally told to us correctly and we since went back and canceled the part that was not needed. Over all I am very happy with my first experience with Cadillac, and this was the second vehicle bought from the family of dealerships.

1st of all... I was able to find the exact vehicle that I was searching for. In addition to finding the vehicle I was in search of, I would like to give recognition to a truly Top Notch Salesman, Ed Silver. I am a Regional Sales Manager at my current employer, so trust me when I say that I meet a lot of "sales people"! Ed stood out! He had a very calm and cool way of handling my needs. Not one time was he pushy, and he was very informative throughout the entire process. Not one time did I feel vulnerable! For a fair and honest car buying experience, I recommend Ed Silver! Awesome car buying experience

I bought a Cadillac XTS V sport from Sam Swope Cadillac and the buying experience was awesome. No pressure selling and just friendly dialogue with people that really know their vehicles. I dealt with Jonathan Finch and Paul Settles and these two gentlemen know their product and were extremely helpful answering all my questions without any pressure at all. They have an excellent dealership ready and willing to make your buying experience special. Jonathan and Paul made it very clear that they want owning a Cadillac to be special and meaningful to the buyer and they go out of their way to make the entire experience a good one. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a car in Louisville, Ky. There are many brands to choose from with Sam Swope and Jonathan and Paul can assist with any of the Sam Swope brands.

Excellent Service & Experience

I will start this off by saying that I put off trading in my vehicle for at least a year because I didn't want to go through the dreadful car buying experience. From start to finish, my experience at Sam Swope Cadillac was anything but 'dreadful'. Mo is exceptionally personable and far from a pushy salesman. Although I wasn't sure what vehicle I wanted when I started my day, I came into the dealership with price points in mind for my trade, down payment, and new vehicle. With no hassle, I was met or exceeded on all points. My husband and I were so happy with our experience, we left the dealership with not one but TWO brand new Cadillacs that day. Every aspect of the day was a breeze! To top off the excellent customer service, they stayed after hours with us and Barlow showed us the ropes with all the technology in the vehicles. Both Maurice and Barlow have followed up with us and offered their personal contact information in the event that we have any questions or need assistance. To say the least, I am extremely pleased with this experience. I will certainly recommend Maurice to others, and DEFINITELY seek him out when I'm ready to get another vehicle! I have been a customer of Swope Cadillac since 1988 and have always been satisfied with both the sales and service I have received. When I decided to have a Ford Mustang that had been parked in my garage since the vet tests were stopped, I did not hesitate to have it towed to Swope Cadillac to have it brought up to date for safety and dependability. I talked to Tom Lands and arranged repairs. Using my suggestions and advice from Tom, the job was completed in a reasonable time and for a fair price. I use Swope for repairs on all of my cars.

A few months ago, we were interested in purchasing a new SUV. There are many to choose from but fell in love the the Cadillac SRX. Maurice Noble (Mo) was very helpful in answering our questions and they spent a lot time to ensure we were properly educated and comfortable with all the equipment this vehicle has on it. I currently own a 2013 Cadillac XTS and went to the dealership to discuss purchasing a newer vehicle. Maurice Noble, along with Richard Swope, discussed the pros and cons of doing a new transaction. Buyer Beware!! Dealership not paying taxes on vehicle!

Purchased a vehicle from Sam Swope in late August. Went to transfer the title at the local title office and was informed the taxes owed on the vehicle have not been paid? The title office explained the check Sam Swope issued was about $500 short. I contacted Sam Swope GM and he informed me that is how they make additional profit after the sale! I now have a title I can't transfer and a car I can't drive!! Service after the sale if horrible and you don't know they are scamming you after the sale!! BUYER BEWARE!!
