Work was not done - Zero integrity

Brought in a 2016 Sonata because a taillight was out and needed oil changed. Talked me into $600 60k mile service package and update to ECU software. Got the car back and tail light was still out even though checked off in the multipoint inspection that obviously was never done. Then another dealership told me later that the ECU software was never updated either. Could not get the service manager to return my phone calls. They not only did not do what they said they would but did not do what they said they did. No integrity. Stay away!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! They are non-responsive and waste your time - even with my coming in with the pre-negotiated Costco discount. They are my closest dealer so I gave them every opportunity to help, but they clearly had no interest… Where do I start.. 1. Not even a single follow-up phone call or email from the salesman or his manager after taking a test drive and getting a price quote – which was high… 2. When I tried to follow-up with them, the salesman’s voice mail was full, and never returned my call even after leaving a message with the receptionist. 3. No response from the sales manager after leavings a voicemail with him (including telling him that I had not heard back from the salesman & that I was buying a car in the next 48 hours). 4. Went in to offer them a last effort and they tried a bait and switch on me with a more expensive car than they had told me they were going to show me. I left the dealership and bought the car from Downey which provided GREAT responsiveness and honest treatment. Love the car (just bought a 2018 Elantra from Hyundai of Downey – our 3rd Hyundai). BUT - I repeat - Save yourself the time and frustration – AVOID NISSANI BROTHERS HYUNDAI & give Adam at Downey Hyundai a call.

TOP NOTCH

I don't know about other reviews, but I've never had a faster and more friendly service on a vehicle. I showed up at 5:45pm to get windshield wipers operational on a Genesis G80 that I had just leased! It was impossible to think that the dealership I leased the car from wouldn't have checked all systems! When I arrived at Nissani with my young son, I told them I had very little time and needed to get the wipers operational (as the first rains in Los Angeles had shown up). My service agent John M was amazing. I bet he always gets customers wanting it all done fast. In my case, that was vital. Sometimes service agents, after a long day, give you a veiled frown or a stifled sigh. Not here! My car was returned to me with wipers working 15 minutes later-- apparently, the OTHER dealership didn't activate them with a special sensor. The dealership and service is spotless and the people inhabiting its spaces are professional. Even a salesman, Eugene, was really nice and I wasn't in the market for a car or there to potentially help his numbers! This is the kind of treatment that I believe Genesis ought to be striving for as they iron out their bureaucracy and their brand services. In this instance, I felt like I got what I paid for. Thank you, Nissani Bros. -- you have my future business.

They damaged my vehicle (scratched door)

I brought my 2017 Chevy Volt in for warranty repair. They scratched the driver's side door and refused to take responsibility for it. Very arrogant. I do not recommend them in any capacity.

Lying to me about broken/fault parts on my Genesis. Then deciding to charge more than what was stated initially. SCAM! Stereotypical dealership ran by people with no integrity.

Dishonest

this is the worst dealership ive ever been to buy far stay away from it it is very deceiving they even got my car scratched after having me wait an hour and a half to get it cleaned and telling me they don't do favors they only clean the car from the outside I could have taken it to an express car wash and got it done than having my car paint scraped and bumpy . When I bought my car I found out once I got home The windshield had a round crack, they had it covered with a piece of paper on the windshield not to mention the contract and all those hidden fees and lies that they give you so you would buy the car. The only person I dealt with that was giving a good service was the salesperson the rest are really terrible. I just wasted my day waiting to get my car washed for 2 hours, while there were no customer, and it remained dirty still from the inside between the seats even the edges and on top of that, the financing and the manager tell me we don't do favors here we only do wash the car from the outside we don't really do detailed cleaning the edge of the seat is even stained from when I bought the car the cup holders everything is still as if my car is garaged and I wasn't even driving it as much since I could not for a condition and now on top of that I got it all scratched and they said I must have been driving on a rocky road. I saw every detail on it prior to taking it in there, this happened today and I am very annoyed after wasting my entire day to deal with those rude unprofessional staff I do not recommend buying your car from them you will regret it. The only explanation if it wasn't scratch there and they had to wait for 2 hours to resolve it they must have cheaply buffed it out to hide all those details when I got it just like the cracked windshield and now it showed and I did they didn't know what to do with it and had me wait then they're telling me we don't do favors to people like I'm going there to get a free car wash I went there to get the details done and they gave it to me with all the corners dirty and now it's all scratched I don't even know what to do with it at this pointthe worst service I've ever had by far

Purchased a vehicle and did not receive the car

I purchased a vehicle from this dealer with a check from my bank. The dealer received the funds, but did not release the car. The car was held for two weeks after the purchase (no explanation). The mileage on the car was higher than when I purchased it. I complained to the dealership customer service rep. She did not do anything. Complained to the dealer corporate office. The stated that they could not do anything because Consumer Affairs is just the manufacturer. The dealer is the only place to complain about sales practices. The employees in the sales and finance departments did not answer the phone during the two week period. Lastly, I just received a call last week stating that they did not complete the smog test which is required for this vehicle. This dealer actually thought I would bring the car back so they can keep it longer to complete the smog test. These are but a few of the issues that I encountered with this dealer.

I would not recommend this dealer.

I just bought a Hyundai at Nissani Brothers Auto Mall and I could not be more pleased with my experience. First, the selection of cars and trims is amazing. Although this review is for their Hyundai section, they also have Chevrolet, Nissan, Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler and Acura. I appreciated how attentive the sales person was and his knowledge on the various vehicles. I literally drove about 10 cars/trucks until I found the one that suited my needs. All around town, I have noticed new cars being bought at the Nissani Brothers Auto Mall and I am sure that it is in part because of the customer service and perks you receive for being a VIP. My family and I will continue to buy cars with this dealership.

I came in and met with Alan and was treated with a smile right off the bat!! The process was quick all the negotiations were exactly what Fernando told me it would be.
