Horrible Service Manager and Department

Came to Scarborough Nissan to fix an electrical issue with the car. They said the issue was fixed but it was not. They refused to give me a refund upon confirming with another service shop of the issue. Stay away from their service department. They are out to rip you off.

I paid a deposit when purchasing the Nissan Versa recently. The refund for the deposit had a small amount of discrepancy with the original number due to the dealer’s accounting mistakes. I contacted the sales three times to ask why, and left voice messages to the business manager and the dealer general manager to ask for an explanation before I received a final confirmation. The amount of discrepancy is not big. However, the hassle reflects the work quality and attitude. Scarborough Nissan, you owe me an apology.

Scam for sales in parts

READ THE WHOLE ESTIMATE BEFORE AGREEING TO SERVICE I left my light on and the battery died on me. After jumping it the car had power but the engine wouldn't start. I towed the car over to NISSAN SCARBOROUGH.After getting charged $129 for the assessment there told me I have to replace the IPDM because I FRYED it. The quote $709 + tax. After telling him that I have to think about it,I read thru the report and saw that the did a over write and the car started but that the recommendation would be to replace it. I went back in and talk to the sales tec and ask him if my car started up. He was all surprised and after a few calls told me that it did. When I would not have read threw the report and just trusted NISSAN SCARBOROUGH I would be $700 out of my pocket for something what didn't need fixing. Just in case my car will have the same issues again I went to a local mechanical shop to ask him for a estimate. He told me to bring my car in on the next day I have time and he will do a free Diagnosed on the car to make sure I'm safe.There Scam artist and you can not trust a word there are saying

sales consulatant abusing customer.

July 7th 2017, Sales and Leasing consultant Wayne (XiuWei) Zhang, appointed us to pick up the car at 9h00am. When we arrived (9h15am) we waited until 9h30 for Wayne to tell us that the car has not yet arrived. He explained that he just arrived and that he just learned this information at that moment and to come back later for 3h00pm. However as he brushed us off, he went back to see his client that he has been talking for several minutes already sinced we have arrived at the dealership. Not only he lied to us that he has just arrived but he deemed that informing us by call was less important than his next sale. We tried to go back to speak with a manager or whoever to see if there were any other way to work this out earlier as we had to rearrange our schedule. The manager didn't show up after we requested and waited but Wayne came to talk to us only after we got fed up and asked for our deposit back. As I tried to confirm if the new car would be ready by that new time that Wayne is trying to set, Wayne rudely shouted " Hey bro..." he began to point his index finger at me shaking and shouting telling me to go away if I am in such a hurry and that he would finish this deal with my friend. In the meantime I went to cool off outside of the dealership as my friend tried to explain to Wayne that I had to bend backwards in order to help my friend out and that Wayne's tone and behaviour was rude and unprofessional. Wayne had more than 5 occasions to apologise for his misconduct and still hasn't. Is this the type of people that Scarborough Nissan employs? Honnestly this cannot be left without Disciplinary Actions and yet we know Wayne is going to get away with this. Avoid this place at all cost.

Dealer lost my winter rims and tires

The dealer can't seem to find my winter rims and tires that I stored with them. They are worth over $2,000 and somehow they can't find them. They are offering no compensation and refuse to go back to their archives records to get more info. Clearly a staff member took them and dealer does not want to acknowledge and compensate. No longer a customer after being a loyal customer for more than a decade.

Mean Manager

I went here to have my car seen as I am having problems with my 2016 Nissan Rogue. There were some noises in the car that I wanted them to hear- the noises are not 24.7. Luckily, the noises were happening when I came in for them to examine ! When the service guy called guy2 to come and hear, they both agreed - okay, there's something wrong here. The Manager came and wanted to hear - where the noises stopped- the Service guys then changed their minds and got scared. They were like, " we don't hear anything. The car's fine". I was extremely shocked and appalled - Their names were Peter and Paul. One of the other rude service guys told me that I should be "Glad" I have a brand new car, and stop complaining about a little sound. He said I should "suck it up". Long story Short, the Manager ended up getting me so frustrated, I began crying !

I would not recommend this dealer.

They rip me off

I went to them for a van cuz am pregnant with my third baby and they gv me a nissan micra they sd they r going to use the new car to get me approved and then they wold change di car but wen i got approved they dnt wnt to chage di car they tld me i wasnt working and they can only qualified me for the same car they sd they wld change after getting me approved...they sd drive it 6 months and they change it.wen six moth comes they sd drive it another 1year di car is small i feel weird my kids are squeszing and this people womt take back the car...eben the guy that told me all this info is not there anymore they even buy policy in my loan now i search different place to get it change

Thanks to Azeem,, Ryan and Paul. what a team work. These three is the best. Im not sure how long is my waiting to get my car as you know Processing all the paperwork takes time but approval is another problems to some dealers.,but at NissaI was very fast.I was empressed with thier service, Friendly, Happy and on time. I got my car in 3 days only. My family was excited and I recommed all my friends and family .to buy thier car at Nissan Scarborough Thank you guys, Beth Rutledge

Friendly, Knowledgeable, and Accommodating.

I had an excellent experience when I bought my car. Berbo Bustamante, the car sales consultant explained things to me in words that I would understand. Especially Ryan Chui in finance department, he's amazing and funny. He made sure that I was looked after, and explained things I need for a new car. After all this is my first brand new car. Bought my first car at Avenue Nissan (used one). Had a good experience there, but here at Scarborough Nissan, they surpassed that. In service dept. they were all polite and soft spoken. I had some missing parts from one of the accessories, and without questions they attended to it and had it installed. I would definitely recommend this dealership, give it a shot and you won't get disappointed.

Routine oli change and put in winter tires.

The sales side of this dealership is great. This review is on the service department. I brought my car in for a routine service. I was "offered" the $200 winterization pkg which is done at 48k. Wonder how that is determined! I was then told my battery needs replacing. That the Nissan batteries only last a few years. I asked how the battery could be defective in less that 3 years. The service manager told me my car was 4 years old and battery is not expected to last that long. Interesting how he added at least 15 months to the age of my car!!!! This has happened every time I've brought my car in. Never a Nissan again. And till tails car is dead I will be taking my car into a local garage and not a dealership for servic.

The WORST customer service

A few months ago my car had been hit and needed to be painted all along the driver side. I chose to get the work done at Scarborough Nissan because my boyfriend who works for a legitimate dealership said dealerships are the way to go. Biggest mistake I've ever made. Kirk, the main body shop guy, spoke to me as if I was incompetent and kept me in the dark about the status of my car. My car took an extra 2 days and I was not offered a rental for my inconvenience. Anyways, I got my car back finally and the work looked good so I accepted it and moved on. Then I heard a rattling sound in the door and had to return the next day because they didn't put my door back together properly. Fixed that after 30 minutes of arguing and Kirk rolling his eyes and sucking his teeth at me (yes, this actually happened). Fast forward 3 months, I had been inspecting my car and noticed a ripple in the paint on the bumper so I called Kirk to let him know (warranty and all) and he agreed the paint was defective when he saw it for himself. I was offered a rental and the work was supposed to take 24 hours (express job apparently) and I was supposed to be at the dealership the next morning for 11am. When I returned to the dealership the next morning, I inspected my bumper and noticed that they did a sloppy job putting it back on after they painted it and smudged the paint under the right light and the top coat was peeling under the left light. I informed Kirk and was belittled and told that he expected this from me and that the smudge was in fact a rock chip that he said he wouldn't fix which makes absolutely so sense to me because if it had fully been repainted like he said, the paint would have covered the rock chip. So I asked for a manager and waited 20 minutes to speak to one. No one came. Kirk finally told me he'd send the car back to get repainted and sent me on my way with the rental again. An hour later he text messaged me while I was at work to call him. When I called, he told me that I was wasting his time and that he would pay another dealership to paint my bumper because I'm never going to be satisfied there. Never in my life have I been spoken to with such disrespect and disregard by a "professional" dealership. I went to go pick up my car and asked to speak to the manager. Peter, the service manager, came and asked what he could do for me. I told him I needed my car keys so I could drive my car to another dealership of my choice so he could pay for my bumper to be painted. He was very confused (Kirk obviously didn't tell him anything) and told me to explain to him what the issue was. I took him outside and showed him my bumper, showed him the peeling top coat and he told me to take the rental and that he would speak with Kirk and call me. I mentioned to him that the way Kirk spoke to me was disgusting and he completely brushed it off. So I left, and 2 and a half hours after not hearing from him (5:30 at this point) I went back with my boyfriend to show him the bumper because he wanted to see what I was talking about and my car was no where to be seen. I went inside and asked Peter where my car was and he told me he sent it back to the body shop (without my permission and without consulting with me first) and that the car would be ready the next day around 3 or 4. After no phone call the next day, I drove over after work and made it there at about 5:15 only to be told my car still wasn't ready and that he couldn't tell me when I would be able to pick it up. So now I'm still waiting for my vehicle but I must say I will never in my life go back to this dealership for any reason at all. Very unprofessional, disrespectful, no concern for your time, don't keep you in the loop, do poor work and no apologies. Worst customer service experience I've ever had and I pray that the person reading this has the sense to not go there.

AMAZING staff

We had the most amazing experience buying a new car from this dealership. We were greeted by Berbo and he helped us find the right car and made us feel welcome. Berbo was knowledgeable and helpful. Ryan at finance was very dedicated and awesome sense of humour. Joking aside Ryan got us approved in a short span of time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this dealer to our friends.

Truth not be told

I booked an appointment and said that I needed a shuttle. I called the day before to confirm, was clear that it would be just before 5 (as in 4:55 ish) due to work, and was assured this would not be a problem. I got there before 5 and had to wait until 5:10 for Aaron to talk to me. He said I was too late and would not provide a shuttle. I explained that I called, and he would not budge. I was upset with the fact that the car was not able to be done, but with the fact that they would not honour their word. Aaron was not at all pleasant to speak with: his attitude was uncaring and disrespectful. My days at Nissan are done.

Terrible & Ripoff – Service / Parts

Avoid if all possible...you may be better off at a local garage than this place!! Brought car in for fixing head light outage on one side, cost $300 to repair Daytime-Running-light module + replace bulb, half of that cost was “diagnostic”!! I’ve checked both bulbs were good before I bought it in, but still they replaced the blub!! I discovered the head light aim was off when I got home – 3 feet higher on one side. Brought it back, Service Rep – Anthony deny and make every excuse Not to fix the problem … bulb not sit properly, your lens is fog so can not focus, headlight aim was not high, its how it should be … But its NOT - According to the owner’s manual, both light should be same level off the ground, aiming at 25 feet away on a predefined pattern; NOT 5 feet away from a garage door!! Think again if you assumed dealer used proper procedure and part for your car ??!!! A separate incident months earlier, I took my battery off the car, brought it to the Part counter at this dealer asking to buy a same replacement. The “Part Expert” brought a new battery half the size and rating, telling me that’s the one…I asked him to re-check, since comparing them side-by-side anyone can see they were very different. I insisted that was NOT the right part, even its listed on the computer …. Turned-out they were Wrong!! So, just image you ask them to replace it for you at this place!!

Bought a used car here after visiting all the dealerships along Eglinton. Come with certain expectations, regardless where you buy your car. We had to negotiate strongly, but eventually came to a fair price. Staff were pleasant to talk to and not too pushy. Even at 1030pm, 90mins after closing, everyone was cheery and not rushing us out the door. They took their time with my wife and I and answered all out questions.

Came in with a slow leak, the service advisor asked me "roughly how man kms is on the vehicle" I said "roughly 49,000kms". Service advisor took the key , serviced the vehicle and told me that "I have 51,000kms on the vehicle and the vehicle is no longer covered under warranty and i am only covered up to 50,000kms, then gave me a bill for the service of $60 to patch a tire. A week later that same tire on my display showed me that it needs servicing

Horrible service experience

Scarborough Nissan provided the worst service I have ever experienced. In fact it was so bad that I walked out before they even started. I made an appointment for 10:30am and had been told when booking the appointment that it would take 2-3 hours and it would be no problem to shuttle me to a location within the shuttle boundaries. I arrived on time for my appointment and was told that 10:30 was just an appointment to "check in", not to have the car serviced at that time. Apparently all an appointment means is that you get priority over walk-ins. They said it could be hours more. I was also told it could be an hour or more before they could shuttle me anywhere as the shuttle had recently left and they had no idea how long it would be. This dealership shows zero respect for customers' time. Like most people, I could not just leave the car with no idea how long I may be waiting there - perhaps all day, so I had no choice but to leave. I did not even receive an apology from the employee I was dealing with - I was spoken too as if I was an idiot for not understanding that appointments do not mean that the car will be dealt with in a timely manner. Horrible experience. I will never return to this dealership.
