Poor Customer Appriciation

The car I purchased is a good car and I have no concerns regarding my vehicle. However the customer service could definitely improve. It’s because of the car that I dealt with the poor customer service. My purchase documents had to be redone several times because they kept making errors. My Personal information was sent in an unsealed envelope with no instructions and had to be resent. This prolonged my financing and plates. The sales person’s knowledge was little and I was given wrong information regarding warranty. They made me feel Unappreciated simply because I was buying a preowned vehicle. I felt they also were offended because I was knowledgeable on dealership prices And that is where the poor customer Service Began. I drive an hour and a half to this dealership and they admitted that because I would not be coming back for servicing that they will come out losing if they don’t sell it for their asking price. I would understand their point however I made fair offers and was polite Even after I began experiencing bad customer service.

I would not recommend this dealer.

My dream becomes reality

I have owned old VW Bugs and Vans for years and when I went looking for a new car the first place I looked was at the 2013 VW Beetles. I was amazed at how well-built this car is and how solid it felt and drove. Needless to say, I bought it. Not only do I remain in love with the car (it does have both heat, AC and bluetooth), but I am really just so pleased with my local dealer-Schworer Volkswagen. The online scheduling of maintenance allows me to fit oil changes into my schedule and when I take the car in it always comes back with the work done well and fast, but they clean out my car and wash it. The people at the dealership are really wonderful. I recommend these cars and this dealership to anyone who will listen.

Amazed and grateful

I am truly amazed and thankful for my last visit to Schrower Volkswagen, my car broke down on the interstate, so I had my car towed to Schrower Volkswagen to be checked out and it turned out to be my timing belt, they took very good care of me and took care of the whole claim process with my extended warranty company and even got the extended warranty company to cover more than what they into ally approved to pay A special thanks to Lori in Service and Rudy, they took care of me and returned my car to me all clean and shiny and took care of my headlight that burnt out when I got ready to leave the dealership Thanks again

Great Deal. Easy process.

Loved being able to prep and ask questions via text messages before going to the dealership. This allowed me to study all the info on my Beetle sent to me by text and eBrochure email. The sales staff is fair, honest and knowledgeable. I was given a good trade in price, too.

Purchased 2 VW's from the in 1 year, Both great!

A year ago I purchased my pre-loved 2012 Beetle, the experience was like none other. I have had problems at just about every dealer I have ever been to. Whether that being haggling or bad service department, you name it. So I did the haggling, put the poor guy through his paces. End the end I got a great deal, and I felt kind of bad for the problems and added stress I gave the guy. So next, just a little over a month ago, I purchased a brand new 2016 Passat for my wife. Traded my Traverse for it, already knowing how much the Traverse should be. They gave me a good deal on the trade in and a great deal on the Passat. The financing couldn't have been easier either. We left with a monthly payment just a little higher than what the one for the Traverse was, and that was with an embarrassing amount of negative equity too. Poor Chuck (sales rep) for his effort of showing me all the vehicles that I had questions about. Rudy in the service department knows his stuff and the lady behind the counter is great and very good at her job as well. She cares so much about the happiness of her customers. I would, and have several times, suggest Schworer Volkswagen to anyone, even for non-VW used cars. My coworker purchased his '09 Passat just a couple months after I purchased my Beetle. He was as well very happy with the work and courtesy of the dealership. I will always go there first every time in the future!

never a problem they could not solve

Have been a customer since 2009 and will be for as long as I can drive. Love the quality of the V.W. and the service we receive at Schworer is top notch Lori is very helpful and Rudy besides being a mentor to youth sports is a guy that knows Das Auto inside and out.

We bought a 2008 used VW Bug from Schworer VW. We have had all service work done at Schworer VW and are very happy with the service department. We are always treated very well and told before hand of any possible additional expenses. The service department personnel always makes sure we understand what any additional costs will be and IF we want the service done.

I received great service and great sales help. I had some problems that I was able to get repaired on a last moment situation. I also got help with the repair from VW with assistance of the servcie manager. I wound up purchasing another vehicle at due to this type of service, with very good pricing.

extended warranty purchased for a used vehicle

Schworer VW went above and beyond helping my wife and i pick a warranty that suited out needs as well as our budget. Mr. Veach in financing spent the time to explain the warranty and what we could expect if we needed to use it. There were no surprises. This is how business should be done and we will be return customers.

I bought a used 2010 Jetta from Schworer last March. The experience was awesome then. So much so, when I started shopping for my new Passat, I went right back there. I have dealt with other dealerships in the area and must say I was disappointed with the way I was treated. I felt like the other dealers were trying to take advantage of me at every turn with high pressure tactics. In both car deals at Schworer II felt like I was treated with respect, honesty and fairness. This is a classy dealership and represents VW extremely well. Honestly, I can't think of anything bad about any experience I have had with the dealership in the year or so I have been dealing with them. The sales and service departments are top notch. I highly recommend Schworer VW to my friends and family.

Our 2009 Tiguan had 3 oil leaks with the first 2 leaks...

Our 2009 Tiguan had 3 oil leaks with the first 2 leaks fixed under the 30,000 mile warranty. The 3rd same leak happened 10,000 miles later under the 50,000 mile warranty. I contacted VW customer care on-line and got no help at all. VW customer care advocate could only appologize and tell me that it was my problem to get it to Schworer VW 240 miles away. We had purchased a 2007 Beetle from Schworer so I called and talked to Rudy Wagner (Service Manager) and explained my problem and how VW had been no help at all. Rudy asked me to give him 30 minutes and he would call me back. Rudy called back and made arrangements for Max to pickup the car at Schworer's expense as VW would not do this. Rudy and his team found the cause of the oil seals leaking and replaced the front differential as well as the heater fan motor that had been squeaking before the warranty ran out. Schworer did all this at no charge to me. Thank you Rudy Wagner & team

The dealership refused to live up to their warrant...

The dealership refused to live up to their warrant requirements and instead said that I had to pay half of a charge that should clearly have been covered by my warranty. I will not be returning to this dealership in the future. Also I am done with Volkswagen cars. I love the good fuel economy and value of the cars, but the consist minor issues with very expensive fixes I can no longer deal with.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Very rude. No interest in whether I was satisfied with the service. Seemingly poorly trained mechanics. Purchased a VW from Williamson prior to the ownership change. Excellent service! Will never darken the door to Schworer VW.

After spending two weeks of unsuccessful negotiations with Performance Volkswagen in Omaha, NE I decided it was not worth my time or effort to continue Performance's endless game of them trying to sell me a car I didn't want and at a price I wasn't willing to pay. I "kissed" Performance Volkswagen goodbye and decided I would take my business to their competition... And I'm glad I did. I found out about Schworer Volkswagen using the Google search engine. I was able to search their new inventory online. After I identified the vehicle I was interested in buying I gave Schworer Volkswagen a call the next day. The sales consultant, Mindy Wisek, was very friendly and professional. We set up an appointment and I drove from Omaha to Lincoln to appraise my Trade-In. I was treated with utmost respect the minute I stepped on their property. Everybody was friendly and made me feel welcome and appreciated. I was truly impressed with Schworer Volkswagen. The staff was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. They truly tried to earn my business without being pushy or aggressive. They listened to my needs and offered solutions. We agreed easily on the Trade-In value and the bottom price of the new car. Nobody tried to sell me anything I didn't want. The Finance Department was very friendly and professional as well. I have nothing but good to say about Schworer Volkswagen. They went above and beyond their duties. Mindy Wisek called me several times after the sale to make sure everything is well and that I'm still satisfied with the vehicle. I recommend Schworer Volkswagen to anyone in the Omaha, Lincoln or general Midwest area. Pay them a visit and they won't disappoint you. It was a truly great experience.
