Great experience in buying!

My wife needed/wanted a new car. Previously we had a Lexus RX350 and most recently, a Lincoln MKX SUV. I did my usual research online, which is my preferred way to buy. Last year, we had gone to Las Vegas on vacation and rented a Nissan Murano. I was thinking to myself how ugly (IMO) the new Lexus line is (Picture a Transformer toy, with a cow catcher sticking out of the front end...too angular, and not appealing to us), and remembered that our rental Murano was a pleasure to drive. Smooth steering and a gaggle of technology. I did a "build" on Nissan's website and was flabbergasted that the Platinum trim level had no "package" options. EVERYTHING comes on the vehicle: Panoramic sun roof, seating for 5, plenty of cargo space, a V6, a (check THIS out) 360 degree, birds eye view of the entire vehicle camera system, BLIS, "radar" cruise control. In short everything but a mini-fridge and a bunk bed. I contacted them and they found my wife a silver with graphite interior and transferred it in to the dealership. We took delivery and, after I had driven and programmed the vehicle for her, I jokingly told her "I want one! [sad faced]" She said "Go for it!" I didn't need a second confirmation. I got on the horn with their Internet Mgr., Eliana Casarez and told her the story. They didn't have the color I was looking for, but found one and had it transferred in. Long story short, we love our Muranos and are impressed with the customer service we received from a motivated staff at Selma Nissan. They went above and beyond! I wish all dealers could offer the same kind of customer service. I ran a family business for 30 years that was known for our customer service and I became very quickly aware of how vitally important it is to a successful business. We also felt comfortable with everyone we dealt with. No pressure tactics! Great job!

Wanted to look for a car man does Selma auto mall have it all . Went to Nissan and even tho during construction next door everything was clean and stop less drove off in a new car was happy as could be couldn't believe they had the car in stock that I wanted

Awful experience

My wife and I were looking for a new car, and unfortunately decided to go to the Selma auto mall due to their big selection. My wife told our sales person that the number one thing we are looking for is a comfortable driver's seat due to her herniated disc. Secondly the vehicle had to have blue tooth. So on and so on it had to be a sedan, dark in color, dark cloth seats, and good gas mileage. So we expected to only be shown the vehicles that met the criteria. It seemed to be great he was passing up cars that didn't have our features we wanted. So it came down to a 2014 Nissan Sentra SV. We test drove it and enjoyed the comfortable ride; unfortunately we didn't try to pair it to our phones while on the test drive. THIS CAR DID NOT HAVE BLUETOOTH and we were not informed of this until all the paperwork was signed and had the keys in our hands. While they were showing us where all the buttons were the sales associate told us that they found out that this car does not have Bluetooth, but since he knew it was a big sale point for us that they would install it free of charge, and we should come back when the part is in. They promised it would be exactly like the car had come with the Bluetooth. Well the part came in, and my wife took the car in to get the blue tooth installed. When the car was done we found out they took out the sunglass holder and installed a box with a speaker in it..... This is not the blue tooth we were looking for, nor was it what they promised would be installed. We wanted it to listen to Pandora, make calls, and listen to our gps while driving. The box they installed only makes and receives calls, but you still must use your actual phone in order to call someone or see who is calling you. After many phone calls and many lies about what they could and couldn't do, our only option is to go back in and have the pointless box removed so we can at least get our sunglasses holder back, but we're still left without Bluetooth. By the way for the women out there. If you're a woman, after the sale prepare to get treated like you know nothing! My wife has been talked down to more than once by the sales team. I'm really glad I'm only 30 so I can spend the rest of my life 1) never buying a car from Selma auto mall 2) telling everyone and their mother to never trust Selma auto mall! Never deal with --Victor Cardenez-- learned the hard way he lies through his teeth! We apologize that blue tooth not coming preinstalled in the Sentra SV was not communicated during the vehicle demonstration. We recognized this was an oversight and we installed one free of charge. When your wife spoke with the General Manager yesterday, she expressed interest in wanting to install a stereo system, which we offered to install for her free of charge once she purchases one she likes. She seemed interested in taking us up on this offer, and we hope she does. If she is still interested, please have her contact us at her convenience so we can schedule a time for the install. Again, we apologize that you had such an unpleasant experience. Customer satisfaction is the top priority at all Selma Auto Mall dealerships and we continually strive to provide every customer with a great experience. Customers Response via Yelp Selma Nissan: Yes we are both so ready to buy an aftermarket radio to put in our brand new car, that I'm spending my time writing reviews about you. WE ARE IN NO WAY BUYING AN AFTERMARKET STEREO SO SELMA NISSAN CAN BE SO GRACIOUS AS TO INSTALL IT FOR FREE. We bought a car that was supposed to have integrated Bluetooth, and told that it would be installed! Why should we as customers accept anything less?
