Very friendly service and Amanda and Robert was very knowledgeable. Very happy I chose Serra Chevrolet! I didn’t have a vehicle in mind when I started shopping and needed up with a brand new Chevrolet Sonic that I am pleased with. Amanda and Robert worked very hard to help me get financed so I can begin rebuilding my credit. A BIG BIG thank you to Amanda, Robert, and Terica.

Bait and switch.

By PO’ed on 11/9/2017 at 8:23 PM.

Was told a car I was interested in was available. On Tuesday. Took the day off on Thursday and confirmed it was still there at 9 am. Drove 85 miles to test drive and was told upon arriving it was sold yesterday. What BS. I sent an email to Ms Fuller telling her she is unprofessional. When I went back to reference my emails she had pulled them from my box. My advice is if they send you any email you better print it. These guys are scammers.

I would not recommend this dealer.

A first class experince

By Michael Frieson on 11/9/2017 at 2:19 PM.

My experience at Serra was very pleasant not what I was expecting. I had an appointment my sales person Amanda Keeton, who is a about as down to earth, polite and will do everything possible to get you the right deal for you. 1st I hate a hard sale,2nd I hate hovering and lastly give me a moment to take in what I'm experiencing. Ms Keeton has all those qualities she spent over 6hrs with me and 4 or 5 test drives and never once did any of my 3 deal breakers. It was almost like having a friend instead of a salesperson who just happens to have all the answers. I really didn't plan on buying that day but she help guide me to exactly what I wanted for the amount I was willing to spend. I little back and forth on price and options, we had a deal. Now this the part where I usual leave and wait for the phone call to get the extra good deal but I didn't have to do that this time. I was very pleased with Ms Keeton and deal. Now I have a very nice new truck.

I would recommend this dealer.

Service is awful and they do half a** job on everything

By Maeturtles33 on 2/10/2017 at 1:55 AM. Helped by Tonya.

Don't even know where to begin. Let's just say after 3 weeks of being in the shop to fix a leak in the roof and for them to check out the transmission. They have replaced the headliner and the antenna and ended up removing the transmission without telling us first and replaced several parts. We never got a call letting us know about anything until we called and left several messages. I picked the car up and it was very nasty (grease prints everywhere and water stains in my seat from the leak) and several things were still wrong with it. I took it back for them to detail and they scratched my paneling trying to get glue off of it (took it back and they are replacing it) and still never cleaned all the greasy finger prints off my new headliner and visors. And now there is a rattling noise coming from God knows where and my hands free mic sounds like I'm in a box. Needless to say my husband will be taking it back again when he gets back in town. And once all of this is fixed we will never take it there again nor will we ever purchase another car from this dealership.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Right hand doesn't know what the left is doing

By dpars3031 on 9/26/2016 at 3:57 PM. Helped by Brandon Nathan- Sales Manager" THE PITS" Tim Provost- Finance "The Best".

Went to buy a Chevy Cruze. Had my heart set on it! I found the car and told some guy walking by that I wanted this car. After 3 hours of negotiating, and repeatedly telling them I had just so much budgeted per month for a car, they told me someone would have to sign with me. OK. I've done that for my kids...no problem, Daughter did it for me. NOW THE PROBLEM!!! They kept telling me that it didn't matter who's name was first, I was paying the car. WELL that's not so. Went to buy tags and was told that my daughter was the first on papers so it was her car. Went back to dealership and told them I needed this to be fixed and the Sales Manager Brandon got ticked off . Told me they couldn't do anything to help me. Said to him "Guess I'll just return the car ". And he said hatefully, " No we don't take back...we repro". I will never buy from here again.

TWO WORDS----NEVER AGAIN

By tomtom on 5/27/2016 at 9:30 PM. Helped by Too many to name. I talked to them all..

The service department is crap. If they say I'll call you, they won't. If they say I'll have it ready tomorrow, they won't. If they say the part will be here in the morning, it won't. If you try to call their hand in lying they will say, I didn't. This is no way to do business but I guess it works for Serra because they have been there a long time. They just will not get my money in the service department or from the showroom floor.

Poor Service

By DisappointedPotentialCustomer on 3/22/2016 at 5:14 PM. Helped by Christa.

Poor service!!! I called about a service issue on my Chevy Silverado LTZ 3500 HD at 9:00 a.m. and they promised to call me back. All I wanted to know was whether or not they provided a loaner vehicle. At noon, I called again and asked if they had forgotten me. The response was that they had not. I'm guessing that they don't want me as a customer.

Mislead and Confused

By AKA19081 on 9/22/2015 at 3:46 PM. Helped by FRED, MIKE.

I went to purchase a car from Serra Chevrolet Centerpoint Parkway and my experience was awful. I would NEVER recommend anyone to purchase a car from this company. I went there 3 days in a row and sat there waiting to get approved for hours every night until they closed, then I finally get approved so they say for a vehicle after going through deveral of those as well. The vehicle was not on the primis and they could not locate it. After a wait and them looking for the vehicle I was informed that it was driven home by an office associate and it would be back on Monday, okay so I waited until monday and was called and informed that the car was located and everything was done I could come in after work and sign the papers. After arriving there I waited about 4 hours for them to tell me when i got ready to test drive the car that I needed 500.00 more dollars down. I was furious!!!!! so i told them that I was not informed that informaion all day and Im sure that they new that before now and I was not paying any extra money. They went through some hoops and said they had everything worked out and that I would be able to get the car with the 1000 down and allowed me to sit in the finance offfice sign papers and leave with the vehecle. I was asked to bring in another form for proof of residence and I did that the next day and needed to speak with the finace person again. I had to wait on him that day for about 3 hours before he was ready to speak with me, when I was told it would only be 10 mins. Upon speaking with him after the three hour wait I was told that the deal did not fund and that I would have to leave the car. I was furous!!!!!! yet again. I asked to speak with the manager who was very rude he is not a good manager and should not be allowed to manage a dog let alog people. He was suppose to deescelcte the issue but instead he escalated it to 10000. They called the police on me and everything because they had my money and i would not relinquish their keys. Needless to say I contatced my lawyer and we had some negotiations and they were able to get the deal to fund the nex day and I again signed more paper work to purchase the car. After having the car for almost 3 weeks I was contacted that i needed to return the car due to my employment not being able to be verified. What!!!!!!! at this point i was feed up with them as a company I then requested my money back so that I would take my business else were. I was informed that I needed to return their car by 630 or they would make me pay renatal and or set it up for reposession. At this point I was again Heated You dont have my check put you want your car when I got your car you got your check. I was confused shouldn't have been the same way. Needless to say the staff is unknowledgeable and the management and staff are very unprofessional. PLEASE BE WARE !!!!!!!! DONT USE THEM TO PURCHASE A CAR

Im gonna sum this review up in a few words for people who...

By sceneiskeen on 3/13/2012 at 3:29 AM. Helped by Joshua Cain, Used car Manager.

Im gonna sum this review up in a few words for people who dont want to read the whole story. If you want to read the whole story feel free, but here is the short version: "This dealership is full of theives and liars, DO NOT buy a car from this place unless you want to be decieved and lied too." Here is how my trip with this dealership went: I told the salesman exactly how much cash we had as well as what we had to trade in, and not a penny more. Even after telling them this, they still wasted half a night and three hours the next day trying to talk me out of more cash or into financing the other portion. Which was made clear I didn't want to do. I had a salesman, that promised me a knocking in the front end would be checked on and fixed before the car was paid for. That it would be no problem. When i finally got done with the hours of negotiating and telling them the cash and vehicle was all I had. I told the dealer I wanted the check written down and signed so I wouldn't get screwed over. Well the dealer came in and told me the salesmen weren't allowed to promise anything and that the check was not going to happen. I could take the car for the price we just came to, or not take the car. When asked why the salesman would tell me something he knew he couldn't keep, the dealer told me salesman was new. Like that was some kind of excuse. You don't put someone out talking to your customers if they are not 100% ready. And if they do make a mistake, you stand behind the mistake they made. Not weasle your way out. After all this I told the dealer that I didnt want the deal and didn't appreciate the way the place was operating. Well after some thought, my wife and I really liked the car, so I called back and told the dealer I would take a chance and have my mechanic look at it, if he would come off the price $200 dollars, which he agreed. So me and the wife went back, which we noticed the cars air wasn't cold. It just needed to be charged. Well after asking the dealer to take care of it, at his shop, which would cost him minimul he denied, but the salesman agreed to pay for it. I also asked the dealer to replace the front two tires in the deal, he denied. So I got him to agree to tires at cost. And I had to bring the car back for a detail, since the detail shop was closed when we finally filled all the paperwork out. While doing the paperwork the salesman came in and asked if the detail later would be ok, to which i agreed and asked if the tank would be filled up, he quickly replied yes. After all the paperwork, we were handed the keys to which i walked out to the car we purchased and it only had half a tank. I cut the car off and walked in and asked the salesman what happened to the full tank. He then told me that used cars do not get a full tank. Even after i just handed them 12000 dollars. They couldn't fill the tank up? so I said ok, and walked out. After sitting for a few seconds i thought no, he said yes to the full tank. Im gonna go back in and get my full tank. Well i walked in and walked into the managers office and told him i was promised a full tank, and he asked by who. So i pointed to the salesman. He started stammering and stuttering, and the manager raised his voice and informed me used cars dont get a full tank, and I told him i was promised one so I wanted it full. He then got very visibly angry and yelled "Just go fill it up, JUST FILL IT UP!". So i walked out and waited for the lady at the front to do the paperwork for the salesman to take and get the car filled up, while waiting the used car manager(dealer) walked out and yelled again, just fill it up. Very rude and unprofessional to yell and be visibly angry in front of customers and a paying customer. They brought the car back with a full tank and off we went. I ended up having to take a personal day from work to take the car to the dealership to get my tires at cost(Which I declined, because i got tires cheaper from another tire outlet), my detail, and the freon charged. I pulled up to the dealership, and walked into the sales area, where i was asked why i was there. When i informed him why, he told me i didnt have a appointment, so there was nothing he could do for me today. That i needed to talk with my salesman and the manager to figure out what had went wrong. Well neither of them spoke to me in person, and i ended up having to schedule 5 days later to get the work done, after i already took a personal day to get the list taken care off. Before i left i told the service associate, to get me prices for the tires, so i could have an idea on what it would cost. I never heard back from him that day. So the next day i called back and asked if he had prices, which he said he did and they were outragouse (EVEN at supposed cost that they pay for them), he said he would find some cheaper tires and call me back, i said ok. He called me back later that day and told me the price of the tires, which i replied ok. Ok'ing the price of the tires. Not ok'ing the buy the tires and order them. Well a few days later I had my father drop the car off for all the work to be done. When my father dropped the car off, he told the same service associate that the car was there for freon and a detail. That i could get tires cheaper at another outlet and wasnt going to pay their 700+ for four tires. Which i only wanted two tires to begin with. So he said ok, and told my father he would take care of it all and would call him when the work was done. 5 hours later he calls my father and tells him the charge is done, the detail is done, and four new tires are on and we owe them 780 dollars. My father asked if he had talked with me and gotten the ok for the tires and he said yes that i verbally agreed at a earlier time. To which my father told him he knew i hadn't agreed as we had talked about taking the car to the other outlet after going to the dealer. Again the service associate told my father i had, and said we owed them the money for the tires. When my father told the associate that the tires weren't authorized and weren't going to be paid for the associate told my father that the he would speak to his manager and see what they could do. He called back and offered 80 dollars off the tires taking it down to 700. Which was still rediculous. My father told him we didn't authorize the tires to take them off and put the old ones back on, that he was on the way to pick the car up. The services associate got very verbal and very rude over the phone. My father called me and told me to come to the dealer and talk to them as well. When i got there the associate was very rude and informed me the tires were not coming off and i owed them the 700 dollars. (Essientlly, telling me to pay for the tires or not get my car back). After arguing with the associate and the manager of the service department, my father showed up. Again the Service associate was very rude with him, yelling and raising his voice, and telling him he was wrong. The manager pulled us in the office and sold us the tires at the cost of the other shop. But i had to call in and take off a half day, upsetting my manager, again. So overall, my experiance with this shop was so sub par there isn't a word that describes how upset i am with this dealership. The only thing I can say is i never EVER will do business with this dealership again. I would advise anyone buying to avoid this place as their business styles and ways of operationg are not correct. They will try to take advantage of you if you give them even the slightest chance. Did I mention the car, also didn't come with a keyFOB and i had to order one, get it programmed and cut at another dealer, since this one wasn't accomodated to do it. Cost me another 110 dollars. So overall AVOID this place. Signed UPSET CUSTOMER. None of this is made up or fabricated or exaggerated in the least bit. I hope this keeps a few customers away from this place, as no one should ever have the experiance i did buying a car.

I would recommend this dealer.

Takes over 5 minutes to get anyone in the Chevy service department to answer a phone, then they act like they just want you to drop dead. Edwards Chevrolet downtown has a much better, more professional, and friendlier service department.
