Needed a radio code. (New battery)

I purchased a used Honda from another dealership. After a time as can happen with used the battery needed replacing. I did that myself. After replacement the radio did not work and I was told I needed a code for the radio to work. I drove unannounced to the Honda service center in Sherwood Park. They cheerfully accommodated me immediately and had a young cheerful fellow make the adjustment. He had to reset the system by disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it. For all of this I was there 15 minutes and absolutely no cost to me. Everyone was friendly, helpful and accommodating.

I would recommend this dealer.

Terrible Customer Service

I've been a loyal customer since this dealership opened and have purchased 2 vehicles and service my family's 4 Hondas regularly. On many occasions, the service has not been done by the agreed time causing me to have to have the shuttle return me to work or make other arrangements. I always drop the car at 0700 when they open after making and appointment and they usually have the day to complete it. Sometimes I need the car by 2, sometimes by 4. Should be plenty of time for a routine service. More often than not, the car is not ready and it is me calling to enquire, not the service department calling me to let me know that it won't be ready. The last time (and it will truly be the last) I had my car in for a 'B1' service which should have included a tire rotation. The shuttle picked me up at the allotted time and drove me to the dealership. Upon arrival, the car was not ready and the service advisor (Jon) started to scramble because he didn't know how much longer it would be. The shuttle driver overhead this and offered to return me to work and pick me up again in an hour. I returned and picked up my vehicle with no apology for the inconvenience. They hadn't rotated the tires as requested and I'm left to wonder what they actually did for the $235 they charged. A lot of excuses are offered but no real solutions, often blaming me for the miscommunication. As convenient as this dealership is to my work, it is overshadowed by the incompetence. I will take my business to another dealership.

Came in to find a used vehicle and Leo was very professional and straight to the point. Answered all my questions and very respectful. They couldn't find what was in our price range but showed me lots of possible options. would recommend Sherwood Honda with no hesitation. Really satisfied with the cooperation.

We had an agreement over the phone along with email trail of paperwork just 8 months ago. anyway my wife and I came down and made it clear what we want as per email and phone conversation. Took the vehicle for a test drive and then when we were all set we started working on the paper work only to find out they were trying to sell us 1. different color 2. used vehicle and not NEW and 3. according to the salesperson I was dealing with his manager told him to run the deposit anyway even though they didn't have the color and right model we wanted. Long story short, before they got a change to take our money and left us with the vehicle we didn't want I manager to get down to the dealership and rip the contract and as for the manager he just laughs at us.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Such pathetic customer service!!Stay Away from this location

The worst and most ridiculous customer service experience i ever had from a car dealer. Please never ever go here. They lied to me that a huge crack in my windshield was because they actually were driving the car through hot wash and then brought it out in cold and it cracked and just dumped the whole thing on me . They actually say even of some one breaks your car which you parked there for service... you are fully responsible for everything. Disgusting!

Bought used truck. Best vehicle experience in Edmonton area

Traded in one truck for another. Fantastic easy transaction. Salesmen was busy but somehow always made time to make everything happen smoothly. Would answer text messages and follow through with every promise. Sales manager was straight forward and fair. Zero complaints and I have had the truck for 5 months. Used their service center for some warranty work and the work was completed in half the time they quoted. Shuttle was easy enough to get and picked me up again faster than anticipated. Truly a blessed transaction. Edmonton area has a horrible reputation for car sales but this place made all that go away. Thanks Todd for everything. Well done.

i have been a loyal customer but its a Terrible place to go to. i was refused a shuttle, they said we will finish in under an hour. after hour and a half they said it will take one more hour. basically they ruined my day. will never go again for service there.

I highly recommend Sherwood Honda! Cindy was amazing to work with and was very knowledgeable in the product she was selling. I had been to several different dealerships, test-driving several different models so I was able to compare the service back-to-back with other dealerships. Sherwood Honda went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations! I would highly recommend them in the future to family and friends looking to purchase a vehicle! We also dealt with Eden, who was in charge of the finance aspect of the purchase, and she was phenomenal! I could not be happier!

Horrible Service

The service department is horrible and seem to not care about your issues and will only try to suggest bandage solutions to get out of finding the underlying issue. Our new 2016 vehicle has been having issues with the battery being drained and dying after leaving the car for only 3 days max. It has had the battery replaced twice already and they insist that nothing is wrong. The advisors, specifically Carolynn and the service manager (Martin Brown) told us that we should just drive the car/go for joyrides or invest in a charger which is ridiculous because why should we have to waste more time in our already busy lives or spend more money than we have to. We told them that the car is driven for at least 30 mins one way to get to work, but their reply was it should be a longer trip which blows my mind because I am not taking a detour or leaving earlier for work, which makes me wonder if they actually know what they are talking about. I have never ever heard of having to do these ridiculous things especially on a new car and no one that I asked has either, yet only Honda insists that this is solution and won't do anything about it. Also, when we were sold this vehicle, we were promised many things such as car washes and to date they have only done this the first time we brought the vehicle in. I strongly recommend not purchasing a vehicle here or visiting this location because you will waste your time and get talked down to.

My wife took our 2011 pilot in for a timing belt. I called down to the dealership to inquire about it and I was informed they did not have my vehicle and my wife must have took it to a different dealership. I decided to go down to Honda and not to my surprise I found my car parked in the same place where my wife said she left it. This was to be a all day job and now it is noon. I asked for the service manager to relay my disgust and he laughed. Not hard to see why this service department is so dysfunctional. Sherwood Honda should be embarrassed to have him represent their company.

Happy with how they looked after me after the purchase

Noticed as I was about to drive away in my 2014 4runner I bought from them that the xm Antena was missing. They had no idea. I was quoted high prices to get it replaced and installed. They ordered me a new shark fin antena and shipped it to me in BC. They also covered the install! Thanks Hoang Kwon and the team ther for looking after me months after purchase. I recommend Sherwood Honda!

Unprofessional Customer service

At first, The sale person seemed to doing well but everything screwed up. Dealer continuously changing his words before picking up vehicle. When I was picking up, they hide their faults. They broke wheel lock key and did not say anything. IF SOMEONE REALLY WANT TO BUYING VEHICLE FROM SHERWOOD HONDA, HAVE TO CHECK WHOLE VEHICLE VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE PICKING UP.

If you make an honest bad review with Sherwood Honda they WILL harass you for months until you take down your review, but they won't do a thing to rectify the problem they have caused. Careful.

High Prices Shop Elsewhere

I was looking to buy a new Honda Civic and shopped around in the Edmonton and surrounding area. Sherwood Honda quoted me the highest price out of the five Honda dealerships I compared. They are also very slow to respond to emails.
