Their service is first class. Nobody has ever given me better service than this dealership. I bought me car new 9 yrs. ago and it still runs as the first day I drove it home. I get it inspected there every year and for many years, they have not had to work on my vehicle and were honest with me. The employees there are very friendly and helpful.

I would recommend this dealer.

Smail Service and Sales have declined significantly

Purchased my Acura 8 years ago. Great service and sales experience initially. However, in recent years. I haven't gotten very good service. Chased an intermittent electrical issue for over two years with no solution. Had to solve myself. Smail Acura seems to have dificulty diagnosing issues with their own cars. I have found my self having to make multiple trips to the dealer for the same issues and they do not seem to care that it takes me 50+ minues one way to get to the dealership. I also have had several instances where repair work has been shoddy. Not what you would expect from a luxury car dealer. You have to keep your eye on them. Sales also will lowball you on trades. This was not the case when I originally purchased the car. So much for the luxury car experience.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Best car buying experience

My husband and I were so thankful that Smail Honda/Acura was able to get us financing for a vehicle and they helped make the process as seamless as possible. Damien worked with us every step of the way and offered insight that you wouldn't normally get elsewhere, as most salesmen are literally just trying to make a sale. He knew that with two kids and one on the way, we needed something within our budget and that was going to be reliable. He kept the line of communication open and let us know what paperwork was needed ahead of time for financing before we came into the dealership which made the process that much easier. I highly recommend Damien and Smail auto group! We won't be going anywhere else!

Competency and Respect

The purpose of this note is to commend the staff at Smail Acura, Greensburg Pennsylvania. I am not an easy customer and for me to pass out accolades is not the norm. However, I do feel compelled to give credit when I experience exceptional and competent service. Our salesman was Clint Robbins. From start to finish, Clint exhibited a competency, relative to the vehicle I was interested in purchasing, to an extent that I have never seen before, and I have purchased more cars than I can remember. Clint took the time to explain every feature of the car and set up the electronics for my wife and me. He was not satisfied until we understood the systems and could demonstrate our competency. Clint even offered to come to our home and set up the home link if we experienced difficulty (we live 45 minutes away from the dealership). Clint's boss, Mike, closed the deal in a professional manner and presented a fair and equitable price that we could accept. There was no pressure--only cooperation and respect. Even the finance officer, Mike, was respectful and couldn't do enough to make that part of the purchase enjoyable. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone who is interested in purchasing an Acura. Joe

The difference an informed salesman can make

Test drove a car at another dealer. Really liked the car but salesman wasn't very informed. Didn't rule out the car just said we wanted to look a little more. Went to Smail just to look around not really thinking we would go any further than maybe test drive a vehicle. Hours later we pulled into our driveway in a new car. Clint knew everything there was to know about Acura and wasn't concerned how much of his time it was taking. From Clint to store manager to used car manager to finance personnel, we felt they were trying to make this experience a good one. They achieved their goal!! If you are looking for a car I would suggest you stop in at Smail.

A professional and honest way to buy a car

The sales department (John Howard), was always professional and very honest with me about the vehicle and purchase price. I traded a car in on this new car, the first time I traded a car in, I was given a very good price for my trade in. The purchase experience was very professional and honest, not at all stressful or uncomfortable. I did visit an Audi dealer in Pittsburgh, the experience was nothing like the experience which I had at Smail Acura. The Audi4 did not drive as nice as the Acura TLX. The Acura test drive was wonderful. Thank you for the best experience I have had with a dealership and the purchase of a new car. And, having had a previous Acura, I know that the service I will get will be exceptional. Gabe, in the service department, truly deserves a big raise for how he goes out of his way to service my vehicle. Thank you for the wonderful car purchasing experience.

Excellent service

I brought my TSX in for inspection last Saturday. Gabe took care of this. There was a recall on the air bag and that was resolved. I did not have to pay a cent to the dealership for this. The service as usual was impeccable!

Poor customer service

If anyone owns a Acura, you may want to avoid smail Acura of greensburg pa. Had a problem with a miss in the transmission of my 2014 Acura MDX. Took it to smail Acura for service. Was told I needed a transmission fluid change for $180. I refused service knowing it was NOT the problem. Made another appointment with a different Acura dealership, they not only fixed my problem, but also did two computer upgrades that were due on the car that smail did not do. I wasn't charged a dime for fixing the vehicle and the two upgrades that were done on my car. However, smail Acura of greensburg was goin to charge me $180, not do the two upgrades to my car and I would've still had the same problem I took it in for. Total rip offs! I contacted Scott knabb service manager of smail Acura and he did nothing about this issue. Very poor customer service from the service Dept and also the manager. Please be aware of smail Acura of greensburg and please feel free to share this posting public.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Lies, deception no matter the words used, it's wrong!

Traveled with check in hand from South Carolina to purchase a used Yukon Denali and left the same way I came. My very concern was rust, being from a state with salt use on roads due to weather. I was reassured that there was NO RUST on the vehicle. There are text messages to prove it. If I could attach pictures I would. I drove eight hits one way to purchase this vehicle and was greeted in the parking lot with a hand shake and told that Saturday's are busy for him and he had appointments but would work back and forth as best he could, but the lady in finance could help me when I was ready. REALLY!?! I then started inspecting and found that rust covered this vehicle's undercarriage and they tried to cover up rust on the doors with a horrible touch up job. The salesman tried to say he informed me there was rust normal for that area. He did not. And that isn't normal. It flaked off into my hand as I rubbed the frame. I'm aware there's a coating but this was worse than that. The vehicle had low miles for its age so I trusted what he said that it was well taken care of. The inside was beautiful and I guess that's all he thought I would care about. Much to his surprise, I inspected under the car right there on the showroom floor. I guess my first mistake was trusting a used car salesman thinking surely he wouldn't steer me wrong traveling from so far away.

I called in to find out if a car was still at the dealership and from hello I could tell he was a great and trust worthy salesman. When I arrived at the store mike greeted me with a firm hand shake and made my buying experience very pleasurable. Pleasant and not pitching you the average salesman knowledg

My father and I arrived to be welcomed by John Myers, who was not like the typical aggressive alpha salesperson as most usually encounter. Instead John let us test drive the vehicle without him. So We test drove the acura and fell in love, what I liked about john is he completely trusted my father and respected our decisions. That trust immediately made me consider the purchase even more. There needs to be more salesmen like John Myers, thanks a lot I am very happy customer with my purchase of my acura

easy to deal with

I am in sales and purchasing for a living. I felt like the experience was quick and direct. That is how i prefer it. I hate haggling to a degree but I feel we were treated fairly monetarily. On the personnel side, everyone was pleasant and helpful, trying to help us get out as quick as possible. This is the second time I have dealt with this dealership. Once previously when i helped my buddy buy a car. Michael Arndt was easy to deal with. He was courteous and moved the process along. We had our 2 kids with us and he understood time being of essence. I would recommend this dealership if they have the car your looking for. I prefer long term relationships with my vendors, and If i have a need for a car in the future I would come back.

My husband and I have tried to to buy two cars from this dealership on two different occasions, only to be disappointed by the shady tactics, horrible customer service and downright offensiveness they employ. Please save yourself the time, hassle and high blood pressure and do not even consider looking at an Acura from this dealership.
