Zero support of my lemon!

By Jameshorvath on 10/28/2018 at 3:49 PM. Helped by Alan Bott,.

I bought a used Escalade ESV premium from Stadium Cadillac from Alan Bott in sales. The list of misleading salesmanship is unforgivable. The list of problems on this vehicle are all very serious and expensive repairs. Running boards falling off and acting as aircraft wings, suspension failures, dvd system has never worked, the air bags are disabled, and now with modest mileage the engine needs rebuilt. Stadium has has done nothing to support. They ignore me. Pretend I don’t exist. But I have a plan. My giant roving vehicle is soon to become a billboard!! :) avoid Staium Cadillac in Salem, Ohio. Avoid anyone that ever hire a thief like Alan Bott. Bott will lie unimaginably, he meets every definition of xxxxxxx salesman.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Deceptive Sales Tactics

By TNT8197 on 8/21/2018 at 11:24 AM. Helped by Fred Sugar.

Please be advised that I had contacted Stadium GM on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 via an internet inquiry regarding a 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer I was interested in. I followed up with a phone call on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 and spoke with Fred Russo, We discussed the vehicle I was inquiring about on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and this morning, with phone calls and texts. I was receiving required information about the vehicle and purchase and was negotiating in good faith. I made an offer on Saturday and said I would give a $1,000.00 deposit on Monday. Fred followed up with a counter-offer Monday morning and I said we could meet in the middle and I was ready to give him a deposit at that point. Fred even texted me the service invoices of work recently completed and texted me letting me know that the two (2) Front tires were recently replaced. After our last correspondence, I did not hear from him for approximately three (3) Hours and when I finally received a response from him, he said he would let me know tomorrow as there was a deal written on the vehicle with a deposit. Needless to say I was shocked, as stated previously I was negotiating in good faith and was going to give him a deposit on the vehicle. I called Fred and spoke to him and was confused on how the vehicle could be sold, when I was working with him. He said he could write an “alternate deal”, whereas if the first deal did not go through, he would contact me letting me know. I told him I was treated poorly regarding this deal, was intentionally ignored and was disappointed in how he handled it. I am truly disheartened in how poorly I was treated by Stadium GM on my attempted purchase of this vehicle. I am taken aback by the treatment of Stadium GM toward their customers, especially when I tried to pay a deposit twice. I feel I was treated unfairly and disrespectful when all I was trying to do was spend my hard earned money on a vehicle I was interested in. I am hoping that Stadium GM does not treat all their customers in this manner and they would do what is needed to earn their customers trust and business back.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Worst experience of my life

By robertk90 on 8/29/2017 at 8:42 PM. Helped by Don Board.

Brought my Saturn in for a basic service to have the clutch bleed and when I went to pick up my car they give me every excuse why they couldn't bleed my clutch system including saying brand new parts were broken. Anyways I pay for the clutch service get my keys and go out to my car and find out I have no breaks now. So I go back inside and start inquiring about why I no longer have breaks. Long story short they give me a bunch of bs answers that make no sense and denied all responsibility and refused to fix my break system they broke. So I was forced to drive a car home with no clutch and no breaks home putting my life and others in jeopardy. Currently dealing with Gm customer service but they have been of no help in resolving the matter. So I paid good money to have my car broken

Great experience!

By Schaeff23 on 1/6/2017 at 12:02 AM. Helped by Nick Sharpe.

Nick Sharpe was my sales rep in purchasing my vehicle and the experience couldn't have gone any better. I asked Nick back in August that if he came across something within my criteria to shoot me a text. Forward a couple months later, I received a text from Nick about a vehicle they just got in and that it would be a good fit for me; indeed it was and I purchased it that day. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, honest true professional, don't hesitate to call Nick. Thanks! Best regards, Michael Schaeffer

Bait and Switch???

By yukonxlgirl on 5/29/2014 at 8:22 PM. Helped by Doug Harrison, Dan Chaffee and Mike Hudock.

I called the dealership on Tuesday May 27th to inquire about the year and price of the said vehicle sitting out front of their lot. I spoke with Doug Harrison whom gave me the year...a 2013 Suburban. He excused himself to find the price from the sales manager Dan Chaffee. Returned to the phone call and told me that they were asking $27,900. I told Doug that I would be in later to look at the vehicle. Later that day at the lot, Doug showed me the vehicle and asked if I wanted to drive it and I did. He took a copy of my licence and my cell phone number. I took the vehicle for a drive and stopped to have a friend look it over for me. I had the vehicle approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. Upon returning to the car lot...Doug approached the vehicle and laughingly told me that the sales manager had messed up on the price and that it was actually $20,000 more than what I was quoted. I was furious because I felt that was their way of getting me...a single female...into their establishment to test drive this vehicle. (Bait and switch) The next day I requested a meeting with the general manager Mike Hudock. He was unaware of the situation so he called in the Sales manager Dan Chaffee. Dan claimed that it was a misunderstanding between him and the salesman. The sales manager claims that he was not aware of which Suburban the salesman was talking about when he was asked the price. The salesman told me that he specifically asked for the price on the 2013 BLACK Suburban. The sales manager gave the salesman a price from a SILVER Suburban that they no longer have in stock. This is why I believe that their story does not add up. WHY would a salesman ask for a price of a vehicle that they no longer have in stock? I also asked why I was not called being that I had their vehicle for an hour and a half....they had my cell number...they could have called and told me a mistake had been made. The sales manager claims that he did not know that I had the vehicle that long...he thought I just took it out for 10-15 minutes. I feel that I was wrongfully treated by this dealership and wanted to make a formal complaint. At the end of my meeting with the general manager...he apologized, as did the sales manager, and claimed that they would love to be able to sell me the 2013 Black Suburban for $27,900 however they could never do that and stay in business.

I would not recommend this dealer.

By modiccoon on 9/3/2013 at 8:36 PM. Helped by Joe Sulka.

The absolute best car dealership I have ever used. The staff is great. My salesman Joe Sulka was outstanding. The service was beyond compare. The car I bought is great. They work to make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase and go above and beyond to do so. I highly reccommend them and will send all my friends to them. They made sure to explain all about the vehicle they knew and offered to do all they could to upgrade minor problems that made me happy to buy the car. The entire staff is friendly and kind and very helpful. A great place. My Sincere Appreciation E. Modic Modiccoon@aol.com
