My wife and I just purchased our 2018 Odyssey from them. Tim Ryan and the rest of the team at Steve Padgett made this the easiest transaction we have ever had when purchasing a vehicle. We live in Charlotte, NC and had many dealerships to choose from but with the open communication, upfront and fair price negotiation, and the excellent service, I recommend everyone to purchase their vehicle from these guys! Good or Better than Average Dealer

Purchased a 2011 Odyssey new and have had it serviced here for the life of the vehicle. Now have 105,000 miles on the car. Overall, I have been well satisfied. I have probably purchased over 20 new cars in my life. The buying experience here was average, not bad but nothing to rave about. . The service has always been done properly and with courtesy but the service department does occasionally get backed up. Their estimates have been reliable. Service responsiveness deteriorated during the recent new dealership renovation but hopefully will get back to the former level. I have no reason not to go back to this dealer for service or a new Honda.

No help! Sad dealership

Visited this dealership again today. This was the second time I have been here in the past week. I realize that they have construction going on and understand I boy things can be in disarray, however, I was on the lot for over 30 minutes each time and never received any help or even acknowledgement that I was there. Today as I was leaving the only interaction that I had was because I had parked my car in a place that was blocking the sales people from getting another vehicle out. As I was walking back to my car they asked me "is this your car?". When I was getting in it, the guy did ask has anyone helped you? I replied no and he said, "yeah we are swamped.". He did say he could "try to find someone to help me, or put me on the list for the next available sales person". Again...new construction going on yet they already have poor customer relations. Frustrating to say the least! Wonder how they will pay for a nice, new facility with that kind of service. Yes, I could have Gone inside to seek someone out...or even waited longer for someone to finally help me, but sales people standing around talking to each other and riding around on golf carts. They didn't appear to be swamped! Cannot imagine buying a vehicle here. Based on this experience, what kind of follow up service would you receive? Definitely would not recommend to others. Actually I went there in spite of already having heard others with the same experience. They have vehicles I was interested in, but so do other dealers. Not worth feeling like you are not valued as a consumer!

I just purchased a 2016 Honda CRV SE from Steve Padgett's Danville dealership. The drive from SE coastal NC was well worth the trip. David Cortes couldn't have been more professional and helpful, as were the many individuals who work at Padgett's. By far and away, the best sales experience I have had in car buying. Poor Customer Service

Scheduled service for 9:00 am Saturday, March 5, 2016. Two hours later, no work done to my car. To say the least, I was very disappointed. I was given a free oil change voucher, but I have to wait again and hope that my time is not wasted again!

I'm impressed with the courteous and respectful manner that I was treated with when I needed some work done recently on my Honda. My first encounter was with Steve and he made the time to lead me to the associate that could help me, his name is Marcus. Marcus took down the info he needed to get a part and had the part within a couple of days. Bad Experience

I just purchased a 2016 Honda Accord from Steve Padgett Honda. I bought a Honda because I have good service in the past. I found the sales staff and office personnel to be rude,deceptive and arrogant .I will own Hondas in the future, but not from Steve padgett's Danville Honda. Norman Myers

Friendly service staff

The entire service staff in the drive-in lane greeted me when I drove in the service area. I was not looking forward to getting my car repaired but they made it a very pleasurable experience. The wait time was not long at all.

hidden fees and not friendly management team

I bought a certified pre- owned Honda here. I love the vehicle, and the actual salesman was good, but the sales experience beyond that was very poor. The main reason is for the hidden fees. A $398.50 "processing fee" then $116 hybrid fee? My car is not a hybrid. When asked they said that is for the title through a third party company. Then what is the processing fee for? Just for fun? Now my temporary tags are expiring and the state tag office has no record of receiving anything showing that I purchased a vehicle. After several phone calls to the dealership they agreed to send me a new temp tag, wow, so generous. Only a few other issues. They didn't care to remove the dealer sticker like I asked. When I checked the engine oil and trans fluid, both are approx one quart over filled, so I wouldn't trust the service department either. The best part was how unfriendly everyone was while I'm spending $28,000 there, and that continues into my quest to find the licence plate I paid over $600 for. Years ago I purchased a Honda from Sanford Honda on Sanford, NC. That was an amazing experience. Will go there in the future!

Service is terrible

Do not get them to do an oil change or tire change, and cleaning. They took over 2 3/4 hours and i had an appointment. Do not buy the preferred care package with your new car. They will make you wait the longer

My fondness for this dealership and my experience buying a car has only increased after a recent experience at a different Honda dealer that was perhaps the worst I've ever had as a customer. I purchased my vehicle here about 2 1/2 years ago. It was a Nissan Rogue 2 or 3 years old. Despite the fact that this is a Honda dealer I never felt any pressure to only look at cars of a specific make nor was I encouraged to look at anything clearly outside my desired price range. I was not pressured to make a decision quickly and the whole experience was relatively laid back. Most importantly I left the dealership after my purchase confident that if I had problems or concerns they would be addressed and taken care of (within reason, of course, not something which was 'normal' wearing out 18 months down the line). Luckily for me I never needed to test my 'hunch'; I had zero problems with my purchase. Sadly it was hit and was a total loss. My only regret is that I did not purchase my latest car here; it is a decision I suspect I'll be regretting for a number of years.

Buyer beware here. I reached out to the dealership for a new Pilot. I received a very competitive quote. Too good to be true actually. I had several conversations with Joey (as I am almost two hours away) over the phone where we discussed the FINAL OTD price many times. I then gave him my credit card # to be charged $500 to secure the vehicle and was assured that those monies would go toward the total cost of the vehicle. He called me back about an hour later and asked some bland questions, followed with, "by the way, did we discuss how the $500 IS IN ADDITION to the OTD quoted earlier?" Obviously, I cancelled this deal. Shane's M.O. is to call back after the deal is cancelled and apologize for Joey's mistake. He says "they're honest" and "will eat" the $500 if you just go through with the deal. No thanks. Be straight with me from the get go... Ended up buying from Bryan Honda in Fayetteville, NC six days later. Got not only a better deal, but more importantly, was treated fairly.

Tracy was very friendly. I had my car cleaned & vacuumed during the special that was being offered. The Service center had my finished before time. I felt like I was riding in a new car in the way that it looked & smelled. I was given great service & quality of the service was excellent.

Doug let me test drive several new and used vehicles, Honda and non-Honda, over a two year period until I figured out exactly which vehicle I wanted--a gorgeous Tango Red Pearl 2010 Honda Civic LX-S. He is extremely knowledgeable and did not pressure me into a sale; in fact his approach of encouraging me to look around to make sure I would be 100% satisfied was the reason I came back to him when it was time to buy. It was evident to me that he was "selling" a very good product (a Civic) and a very good company (Steve Padgett's DH) that would stand beside me for years to come. Ever since, the service department has been good to me. Management followed up but have not "bugged" me since--props!! This dealer's price was not the lowest, but very fair. They matched a slightly lower price from up the street and backed my Civic with a Lifetime Powertrain Warranty and a year of service free of charge (complimentary on every new car). I will be back to buy or lease a new vehicle in three or four years and will ask for Doug again. Keep up the good work guys!!
