Treated extremely poor!!!

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Horrible service broke my 300 dollar key to my mustang Refused to fix it. Then told me to get towed and refused to fix my key. Accused me of breaking it and trying to get a free key. I have never been treated so poorly in my life....PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE.

Poor service, don't return phone calls, and steal equipment

Not only did the internet salesman forget to tell me when my $90K was ready for pick up, but when I got it they tried to short me a box of parts that came with the truck. And still parts are missing off the truck, no one returns my calls. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. I had ordered my truck back in April, and after waiting 5 months I had to do all the calling and research to make sure my truck was on schedule. When I finally got an estimate on when it due to arrive, no one called, no emails, they just wanted my money and thats it. I also ordered the back-up camera and tire pressure monitoring for a trailer. Thank god I remembered to ask for it before I drove off as I was assured everything is set. When I arrived home, I noticed the trailer hitch receiver was supposed to have two reducers in it, I was missing the 2.5" to 2" reducer. The receiver on the truck even had marks in the paint where the missing reducer was. After several calls, and messages I finally heard back from my sales person who assured me the problem would be fixed, a new part would be ordered and even shipped to me. I wait 2 weeks, nothing has arrived and decide to call the call the sales person, no reply. I wait another few days and call the parts department and no part has been ordered for me or by my sales person. Strange, so I ask about the part and have him, (Carlos I believe, super nice guy) order the part for me and it arrived in a day. I put the reducer on the truck and the holes for the pin do not line up. So I call salesperson back to confirm the part number and such, no reply. I call the dealer to try and find out after I gave the VIN and described the part, AND salesperson who saw my pictures of the missing part, why the holes don't line up. Not to worry, no one ever called me back. I am not the person who sends back food at a restaurant if they forgot the cheese, or a missing screw out of a $100 tool. I just deal with it or fix it myself. But a $90,000 factory ordered truck, come on, really, at least return my calls. This place just wants your money and as soon as you pay they could care less about you.

Veterans trade in held hostage intimidated and bullied

I was lurred in by Sonny the internet manager with his nice texts that they could make anything happen. I showed up and Sonny came to greet me and I told him I want two cars and trade in and some cash. He took my keys and registration and my info a few hours later passed me off to another guy and he said my payment was going to be 650 a month for 1 car. The salesman said they can't get my payment lower than that and I needed 3000 cash down for a 13000 dollar car. I asked him nicely to give me my keys to my trade in and he said no wait a minute he takes off dissapears. I go to the counter and asked for my keys they said no let's talk about it. Isaid give me my keys still didn't want to. I saw my keys and registration on counter grabbed them and walked out. The whole Salesforce followed and some ran after me. I was mad and scared a little felt like they were holding me hostage there. I am a veteran have severe PTSD and I don't appreciate being bullied or harrrassed and intimidated. When I was on my way home I called and told them to stop running my credit I'm getting alerts. If you can't do the deal like I was told then throw my paperwork away. As far as the deal goes they are the worst at deal making and being friendly. They don't communicate with there customers.

Liars and fraud

Wasted my time and lied to me. I used to think this was a good dealer but only when Nick McGill was there because he was honest and did not waste my time. This time around they promised me a car that they emailed me on and said it was done. Well guess what a huge lie.. Jose whatever in finance is a big crock of crap liar. Even though there were other vehicles at the same price as the pile of crap he wanted me to take... he kept making excuses as to why he could not get that vehicle which was the exact same price. Buyer beware stay away from Jose in finance and do not believe their lies. They just want to get u into crap cars that they cant sell. I will never ever go to this dealer again and I will make sure not to ever refer anyone here again. Screw you sunrise ford and your corrupt finance guy.... wasting people's precious time and lying to them.... I will make sure that your lies that I have proof on via email and text will get forwarded to the better business bureau. .. Because of the lies and trying to get rid of your crap car I will not stop and make sure that everyone knows how crappy your finance guy Jose is..

Would never buy from them again

We traded a good 2009 f350 for a 2017 f350 . We are very happy with the truck but I would never buy from them again . We dealt with KevinC. And Memmo. They offered two options in our deal and honestly that is the reason we agreed on the deal . Come to find out what they said was thrown in we actually paid for . When we called Kevin he said he could not speak for Memmo and we would have to talk to him and that he would have him call us . Well of course he didn’t and we had to call back . Memmo claims he did not get the message . But went on to say we misunderstood and there was no cooling off period. That was not the case and we definitely did not MISSUNDERSTAND !! And they could not change the contract . I contacted Michelle the first conversation with her she agreed with me that when someone says it was thrown in it means just that but she needed to talk to the guys and would get back with me . After a few days she did get back with me but stated the same thing Memmo had said go figure . What was funny she said they couldn’t change the contract but at the same time said they could take the options off ??? Never again

Not pleased with customer service

Bought a brand new explorer with some paint imperfections, was told they wiuld take care if it and give me a rental.. turns out they will only pay for a compact car thats useless to me and my family, manager wont even hear me out (older black lady name nit important enough 4 me to remember)

Poor Customer Service

I have been to the service department several times this past week and twice Juan Orozco has completely ignored me as well as another gentleman but he was not wearing a name tag so I don't know who he was. If your going to be in a customer service position please learn how to treat customers. It's very rude to pick up a cell phone and ignore the person standing right in front of you. How about greeting them when they walk in the door at least instead of acting like their not their. You need someone with a better attitude who would serve your company and it's customers better. I would drive to a farther dealer if he was the person I had to deal with regularly.

was hasty to criticize.

Performed an extensive diagnosis. Notified me of problems I had not know of. I am not pleased about the price, but they seem thorough. Shuttle service is poor. All in all though expensive, very competent, and detailed. I jumped to conclusions in my first review. I would now recommend.

Sunrise Ford Fontana = Poor Customer Service

I purchased a 2017 Ford Escape and love the SUV, the dealership and service is mediocre at best. First, they will state that they will beat any offer by $500, but understand they add $440 worth of non-factory add-ons (door guards a silly anti-theft device). so you will not pay less. I waited over 6 hours for them to complete the sale and have the SUV ready for me to take home. This included over an hour for them to gas up the SUV and when I received the SUV there was mud dirt on the exterior and I had to install the mats myself. I received the Ford Customer Care Survey and rated them "Fair" (which I felt was kind score for the poor customer service I received). I immediately received phone calls requesting I bring the SUV in and they will remove the silly/annoying anti-theft device (requires you type a code before you can even start car) and they would refund me $440. Once I again, I had to take the SUV to Sunrise Ford for this to be removed. I was never notified that refund was issued, so I made numerous calls and emails with no response. Only when I finally stated that I will be taking legal action, I finally got a response stating they refunded $179 and not the $440 that was agreed. Since I have a verbal authorization for the $440, I am now pursuing legal action to obtain the full refund as they stated in a recorded voice message. I will no longer have further business with this dealership. I purchased a 2014 Ford Focus from Fritts and totally regret not buying my 2017 Escape from them. It was easy, painless and they had the SUV I wanted on their lot. Fritts Ford is a significantly better (inventory, price and customer service) based purchasing one car from each dealership. The "we save you $500" is just to get you in their dealership and nothing more.

Used Truck

I bought a certified used chevy truck with a 3 month 3000 mile warranty from Sunrise in Fontana. First off, I paid top dollar for this truck thinking a reputable dealer and a certified used truck was worth the money. Well I was wrong. I didn't have the truck 1 day and the door lock broke, that took 3 days to get fixed. then the window quit working and a speaker didn't work. So I took it back and that took a couple of days to get that fixed. Then finely I got to drive it for a week or so and some flapper thing in the air conditioning broke and the rear leaf springs started to make some noise, so I took it back again. They told me they checked out everything and fixed it and how sorry they are are for the inconvenience and it should be ready to go. Well, now it's back in there and who knows how long it will take to fix it. I miss 1 other time it went in. But, the end result is if they would have done the job right the first time It should not have to be fixed every other week.

No one expects a smooth transaction from a dealer right? Well, if you want to feel like your taken advantage of buy new and buy here. We were there to get a quote on a car got a terrible deal when we apparently have great credit. We went back because on paperwork mistakes which I have read on several forums they have issues with. We were driving around in an un financed vehicle for a month called to ask why we hadn't received out bill yet ford finance said the vehicle isn't financed it needs to be returned scared for what we were liable for we went to return the vehicle which is where we met Rueben the most unprofessional person I have ever come across (Mike and Rueben later apologized to us on his behalf stating that that's how he treats people they don't know why he's still there I guess Michelle or Melissa don't remember her name but apparently she can't handle her staff) called her several times the days she works Friday's until 3 and we've have yet to get call back. We've yet to receive our survey apparently they lose money for a bad survey so I guess it would make sense that they don't send us one. No one would take the keys we then hired an attorney who advised us to renegotiate our deal or return the vehicle no matter who the keys were given too. We ended up sticking with the vehicle to avoid dealing with another dealer but I'm making sure to tell all friends family and social media sites to take there business elsewhere neighbor needed a car and I shared my experience with this dealer so they took their business to another local dealer Citrus Ford. So much for service with integrity. Someone should warn the family owners of the crappy business managers they have working and representing them.

Bad customer care

When you walk in to purchase a vehicle you are treated like royalty and they will keep you there for hours until you decide to buy.. I am now having an issue with the lining on the door panel on the driver side and they are saying that because it's out of warranty I need to pay for the part... I spoke with Ford Motors and have filed a claim, dealer is saying that the claim has been denied and that Ford Motors is unwilling to fix it! This is a manufacturer issue but neither dealer not Ford Motors is willing to fix it!! When it comes to a manufacturer defect, it has nothing to do with the warranty on the vehicle!! As a customer I would think that the dealer would try their best to do better in order to make the customer happy! I went in today and spoke with Michelle Holguin (Customer Relations Manager) After speaking with her I realized that Sunrise Ford is all about selling not about good customer care! I do not recommend this dealer since they don't care about the problems with their vehicles! I am a first time Ford buyer and because of the way I was treated today, this is my last time buying a Ford and I can't wait to get rid of the Explorer that I purchased from Sunrise Ford!! I attemped to speak with the owner but was told he wasn't there, I also tried to email owners to email on website. The email came back as undelivered.

Beware Parts.com & Sunrise Ford parts bait & switch scam

Less long story: Ordered struts for my F150 from Parts.com, Sunrise Ford was the fulfiller. Got a call later from Sunrise Ford telling the advertised price was wrong and they would actually be about 11% more expensive. Long story: And here's why I think they run this scam all of the time. Oscar from Sunrise left me a voicemail about the increased price. I called him back and he began telling me how his manager had looked online and the price was wrong. Then he stopped, asked me what I ordered, then told me he had me confused with someone else. He found my order and went into the same rehearsed scam about how the website had the wrong price and the new price is $xx.

I would not recommend this dealer.

AMAZING SERVICE- This is no ordinary dealership. Nick Magill, Internet Sales Manager provided the best service and helped me throughout the entire purchasing process. He is a man of his word and promised to get me in and out quickly due to my prior engagements for work. I was done in under an hour! There are no gimmicks, and the offer that was promised to me via Email was the same deal I received when I arrived to sign. I do not have the best credit and was still taken care of and treated as their No. 1 customer. When I was brought to financing, I was expecting a long, grueling process of unnecessary "upgrades" and pressure, but that was not the case. Ruben Gonzalez in Finance did a fantastic job of helping through the process to ensure I was completely satisfied. He was friendly and helpful. Overall - It was the absolute best experience from ANY Car Dealership. There is no comparison. I will definitely come back when my 2nd car is ready for an upgrade. Thank you!

Great service

Our battery went out when my wife was picking up one of our grandkids. I jumped the car and got it to Sunrise Ford. I had only an hour before we had to pick up more grandkids. Our service advisor Carlos Borquez understood our need and we were done in about 30 minutes.

Sunrise was not the first dealership we visited, but it is where we bought our new explorer! Manny Ayala went out of his way to track down the not so run of the mill package and vehicle colors we were interested in, then went to work getting us the price we wanted. Manny let us drive and check out our options, even letting us borrow one to make sure grandma could get in and out easily. He and Jose in finance were able to match our credit unions best interest rate. Thanks Manny, Jose and Sunrise!

Buying a new car is easy at Sunrise Ford

We were not planning to buy a new car when we arrived at Sunrise Ford. We were there for service on our Ford F150 truck that we bought there in 2012. While we were waiting, we walked around the lot and Kevin Caponera came up to talk to us. He skillfully helped us navigate the various vehicles and discovered that a Ford Flex had peeked our interest. It was all downhill after that. A little more than 3 hours later we drove out in our new 2014 Ford Flex. It was that easy. Our thanks to all the staff and especially Kevin Caponera and Ernesto Garcia who guided us through the steps and made it happen.
