John Bryan was great, and the mechanics did a fantastic job. I will be coming back. I have previously been a customer at a competing dealership, but due to the great work and quality service I will be coming to Superior Chevrolet as long as John is there.

(2008 Chevy HHR serviced) I had to leave the state very quickly and I couldn't stay to allow the dealership to address the issues the failed to address during my service visits. I trusted the dealership to make correct diagnoses and to perform quality work when I should not have. Other GM dealerships do not seem to be willing to honor the "warranty" on the work that was performed. Mechanics/technicians don't seem to know how to properly diagnose issues, they simply say things to the service representative to lead you down the wrong direction with many costly and unnecessary repairs, and they didn't listen to me when I gave them the specifically diagnosed issues. The service representative was okay, but the gap between customer service on the front end, and the misunderstandings of the technicians and between the service reps seems to be the biggest issue with a repair that I had. The technicians seemed to have done good work on most of the repairs except the vehicle alignment that was required after they stated the "control arms were warped" was done incorrectly (despite documentation from the computer showing it's in good shape.) The vehicle still very rigidly pulled to the right after getting out of the lot; however, alignments aren't warrantied according to other GM dealerships, so I was out of luck there. The wobble when braking was incorrectly addressed by trying to fix the aforementioned control arms and aligning the tires. While this seems logical, I clearly stated to the service technician that the issue was in the rotors, and that they had 135k miles and never been replaced/surfaced. They insisted it was the control arms. I assumed they were correct and allowed the service. I went to another mechanic and they showed me the rotors were warped; thus confirming my original suspicion. The service techs insisted my AC compressor needed replacement after I told the service representative that the issue was an idler pulley, as I've diagnosed several issues in older vehicles like this before. Again, assuming they were correct, this suggested fix should've worked.. After a second opinion with a better mechanic It turns out the idler pulley was about to fall off, and the parts had rusted to the point of near failure.. The service techs and/or representative failed to mention the giant hole in the fender that was cut out for unknown reasons. The service techs failed to properly diagnose the heater issues with the vehicle. They did see and nicely repair the issues to the radiator that were very evident; however, they made no attempt at further diagnosing the heater system to see if that could've been the only issue. After several hours of my time in an Autozone parking lot, I discovered it was the blend door switch that was broken. The service tech and rep seemed to suggest that it was the heater core as the most likely cause. This again, points to the lack of proper knowledge and technical diagnostic skills necessary to make competent repairs. After financing 3,600$ and an additional 700$ cash for "my" own diagnosis repairs (the 700$ went a lot further than the 3,600 did for sure), and the inability to have the work honored at other dealers I feel safe to say that I will never go back to a GM dealership with my vehicle despite nearly 7 years of reliable service with this specific service center.

I paid for a service that was not fixed

Back in March of 2018 my truck had a miss I took it in to Crain Chevrolet they said I had oil coming in to two of my spark plugs.I was informed that if they changed out valve cover and a few other minor details it would be fixed.Not the case been in multiple times with my engin light on and a miss they would tell me it would be a censor they would replace it still would miss.Then my truck got to missing so bad and also engine light came on then I went back on the August 6.Told John Bryan the service Rep this was ridiculous Please get the problem fixed then he came back and let me know the original problem was not fixed but I was charged another 150.00 dollers to change out another spark pluge But Mr.John Bryan Was kind enough to give me another estimate Of 5200.00 dollers to fix the problem that never got fixed in the first place he also said he would talk to the service tech and call me back that day but he never did I glad I didn’t hold my breath still waiting on my call

Transmission

Transmission was having issues. John Bryan was very helpful. Great service and communications. Even given me something to drive while down. Even though my warranty did not cover the cost I was very pleased with service.

Damage was done to my new vehicle three out of three visits!!! Service Staff has no clue what they are doing and does not respect your property.

Expensive oil change

I was quoted $49.95 for an oil change (no tire rotation) for my car and received a "free" car wash, yet my total bill was $80. Please make sure all fees are stated up front. On a positive note, the wait time was only 30 minutes with a scheduled appointment.

Hidden fees in oil change. Advertise oil change and wash for $49.95. When you get the ticket there is approximately $4.00 added for oil disposal. Not a problem with the charge but simply disclose the amount up front. Deceptive practices turn people off. Also you can go anywhere and get the same job done in 15-30 minutes. You can have an appointment and it still takes an hour to an hour and a half.

Service makes me loyal

Buying a car is a big deal and Superior does great in that department, but it is the service that has made me a loyal Superior customer for over a decade. I drive Chevys, and I buy them from Superior Chevrolet, and ONLY have them serviced there. Cannot say enough good about these folks. Oh, also, I am pretty much of a jerk and rarely am pleased, but these guys please me consistantly. They rock.

You good folks went out of your way to save my roadtrip across the country. I had a deadline to get my new car to the docks in L A You pulled a rare size tire of the Corvette in your showroom put it my car and got me going within hours of my arrivling on a tow truck. Connor William was my Advisor on Oct 30 2017. I received an Oil Change, 4-Wheel Alignment = AC Cabin filter. My Tahoe is running like a Champ! Purchased a 2016 Tahoe last year and told my salesman (Jon Thompson) I was interested in a Silverado also. We went back and forth for a year, and I was giving up! I popped up at the dealership out of the blue and he made a deal I had never seen before.. Worked very hard to make my deal happen. My wife and I wouldn't think of purchasing anywhere else again! My experience with this dealership was awesome from start to finish. I needed to trade in a larger vehicle (that I had recently bought from Superior) and I was not sure how to proceed.
