A good dealersip

My folks stopped by with the intention of getting some service done for a recently purchased car. They saw an updated model and really liked it. Deceptive buyer beware of used vehicles

Let me first start by saying I would not believe all the reviews you read are good experiences, first of all they insist you write the review while your there so of course it all sounds good. the first review I wrote was written while I was there , I bought a used truck for $17,000. I bought the extended warranty on it since it had quite a few miles on it. After getting it gone I realize the sync does t work on it and the air isn’t working right, I take it in they insist nothing is wrong with it and I am not a mechanic do according to them I do not know what I am talking about. Still my air isn’t working right and when you turn it off it still runs😡 but of course I know nothing. Them my air pressure light keeps coming on for my tires I take my truck to the tire store and tire guy said these tires are really old, I told him I just got this truck and he was like wow they sold it to you with tires this old and worn, they should have really should have replaced these tires before selling you this truck. I called the dealership and talked to Ivan as he explained the service sept does a thread check ( same service dept that tells me nothing is wrong with my air) he stated it’s not his fault if I didn’t check the tires before before I drove the truck away. My frustration level is beyond words. I am a single mom and depend on my vehicle for everything, I was so excited to buy a used vehicle there thinking it was hassle free and more reliable than anywhere else. I feel so let down and disappointed with the whole thing. As a single parent this was one extra expense I did not intend on or count on, and so so disappointed in how this dealership has handled things. Buyer beware of used vehicles here at surprise Honda!

Did a chat on Sun. Two days later no call back.

I was stuck at the house due to a dead battery. Had to get a jump start. I had purchased a Honda 100 month battery and it was only 4 years old, so it should be under warranty. I was trying to find out the pro-rate charge. I was told by the chat woman that she would have service call me. As of late afternoon Tues. no one had called me back. I called Tues. afternoon to check on why I hadn't received a call back and was put through to the service line only to be on hold and to leave a message. Terrible customer service!! Don't go here. What's so sad is that when they first opened, and the only time I had been there, they were very nice and courteous and even had donuts and coffee out. That will not be bringing me back. I might just go for the donuts and coffee if in the area and skip the service dept.

Have nothing but great things to say about Bonnie and tamarin , after a horrible experience at Gateway Chevy .... the gals over at Honda showed us what real customer service is all about ; Bonnie answered all our questions and made the process easy... Tamarin literally watched and played with our kids so we could have a stress free environment while going through the process... would 100% recommend this dealership to everyone!!! I’ll be doing more business with them soon!!

Terrible, disrespectful & embarrassing.

This is the worst Honda dealership in AZ. The people here are nothing but disrespectful and the opposite of customer service. In short, I came to finance a car, we agreed on a contract etc.. I then drove off the lot that same day, mind you this was 3 weeks ago. Now today I was told to come in because apparently my loan wasn’t accepted so they found a new lender on ‘different terms.’ Now they’re asking for $1150 extra down payment, not what we had agreed to, but they managed to lower the monthly payments, the thing is, that is NOT what we agreed on, and when I denied the offer, on the spot I was told to return the vehicle. This is beyond embarrassing, but disrespectful to the fullest extent. They aren’t even giving me my xxxx $500 down that I put down, so now I’m returning this vehicle and not even getting my back until tomorrow which is preposterous. DO NOT COME HERE. These people will not work with you.

I worked with Keith Willis and was very pleased. I knew what I was looking for so it was comfortable, not confrontational. I was not handed over from person to person trying to "make a deal". Each of those I spoke with in sales, insurance, service and finance were very professional. I went in with my own financning secured, but they found me a better rate, saving me $1400 over the term of the loan.

Do not deal with Alex!

Do not deal with ALEX! I was greeted with total and utter disrespect. He had a “know it all mentality” and was very condescending. He displayed very little professionalism by over talking and cutting me off! As soon as I alerted him of his disrespectful attitude, he then said a smart comment about my service in the military. I will be filing a formal complaint. The worst part is that another one of his co workers brought to my attention that he had only been working there for a few weeks. This incident happened on may 27th 2018. Worst experience ever!!!! I ended up making a deal with Arrowhead Honda later that night!

Poor Customer Service

The battery died in our car and when we took the battery out we noticed it had a 100-month warranty from Honda so we called the dealership and told them our situation and they advised us what paperwork they needed to replace the battery. We showed up to the dealership and gave the service advisor the paperwork and he said it would be taken care of. An hour later the service advisor came to us and said he could not warranty the battery because it was out of warranty even though the battery was put in in 2015. The warranty manual even says after the factory warranty that there is to be a prorated discount depending on how long it has been for a replacement battery. Very poor customer service and would not recommend this dealership for anything. We thought about looking at trading in our car for a new one but not at Surprise Honda . Definitely a different Honda dealership .

Outstanding, cost effective, timely service

Based on web research, I chose Surprise Honda Service to prepare my 2006 Accord w/160K miles for gifting to my granddaughter. My interest was to insure that the car was safe and reliable. I made use of the dealer's website and made the service appointment and was assigned a Service Adviser. I met with Adviser Rob Chandra and he was great. He took the time to discuss with me my interests and concerns, reviewed the service history, and made recommendations and identified priorities in getting the car serviced. Rob made me feel that I was fully in charge and did not pressure me in any way. I appreciated his shared concern in effectively and efficiently servicing the car. We agreed on a written plan and the estimated cost. Although quite a bit of work needed to be done, the car was ready for pickup the next day and the costs were well under the estimate. I was surprised that Rob provided a no-cost, detailed cleaning and the car not only ran great, but looked great, upon delivery. I now feel very comfortable in giving this car to my granddaughter, as it will be a solid ride for her in her senior year at NAU, and for several more years after that. Additionally, I appreciate Rob taking a personal interest in my needs. He identified that I would need a replacement vehicle, and kindly referred me to John Cockwell, the Senior Sales Officer. I found John to also be a "kindred spirit," and about 90-minutes later, I left Surprise Honda with an off-lease Certified 2014 Accord with less than 50K miles. The car is in amazing condition at an equally amazing price, and a great guarantee, and I am most pleased with it. All in all, a service/sales experience that exceeded all my expectations.
