Very questionable service report

About 5 years ago, I had my car serviced at T&T and on the multi-point inspection it was noted that my battery was fine (given a green pass assessment)...the car wouldn't start in their parking lot after the servicing due to a dead battery. They forgot to actually look at the battery. They installed a battery at cost with no labor charge. Fast forward to July 2019, they gave my battery a 'green' assessment during their multi-point inspection. A few days ago, my battery died as did my starter. I put on 10 000 km/yr as this is not my primary vehicle. Starters can die without warning. Batteries usually give a little bit if notice they are on their way out. The battery cables were excessively corroded too. None of these notes appeared in the July report. I had to buy a new battery and cables elsewhere as I have lost complete confidence in T&T . Future buyers, please be aware that when you get a multi-point inspection on your vehicle, you may not be getting the complete truth. If they miss the basics such as a battery analysis, multiple timesz what else are they overlooking? And, I wish you the best of success in trying to actually get a straight answer from a service advisor within a reasonable amount of time. The battery was so corroded it would have been obvious if anyone touched them to do a battery inspection.

Excellent from start to finish

Husband saw 2014 Honda CRV online. He called salesman Jas Singh and arranged to see car next day. We put a deposit on car and arranged for myself to fly to Calgary the next week to pick up. Jas arranged a pick up for me at the airport from a very friendly driver that insisted on placing my baggage in vehicle.The car was cleaned perfectly and even had the classy touch of a bow on it once I arrived. Ramy Yasmin familiarized myself with GPS and other questions I had. This dealership was very professional, very customer focused and I would recommend making your vehicle purchases here.

Great experience and their staffs were very helpful. Jonny helped me answered all my questions and concerns about choosing a new car. He was so patient, friendly and knowledgeable. When I came to pick up my vehicle, Ramy spent his time to explain how everything works. Overall I would highly recommend T&T Honda.

Had to pay for a second opinion that says they screwed up

Last year I got a new starter installed in my manual transmission 2006 CR-V at Yukon Honda; they recommended an aftermarket one from Napa. It worked fine for eight months. I moved to Calgary last month. The clutch died two weeks after I arrived, just about when I realized that the company I'd rented an apartment from was so bad that I would have to move. But, hey, T&T Honda said that at 190000 km a $2000 clutch repair was a reasonable thing and I could expect to get a lot more miles out of my car. So I went for it because I needed a reliable vehicle and quickly. Two days later the starter began making screeching noises. I took it back. They said it had coincidentally failed and was damaging other engine components. I gave them the Yukon Honda invoice for that starter; they told me it had no guarantee. They offered me an apparently different aftermarket one or a new Honda one, but told me I'd be paying for both the part and labour. Yukon Honda said it WAS under guarantee and T&T Honda just needed to contact Napa. T&T Honda did so and got the free replacement part, but I was still responsible for paying labour. So I did. And the starter failed again two days later. T&T Honda blamed the two Napa starters - I was told both that they are "incompatible" and essentially that they are cheap crap, with the implication that I am therefore getting what I deserve. Which comes back to me following the advice of another Honda dealership. Yukon Honda and Napa said there is no compatibility issue. Napa's recommended garage, CN Auto, says the starter works fine and it's the ring gear on the fly wheel and it'll take $1500 to take the transmission out again to replace that and if it were their work they'd be taking it apart under their guarantee to see what went south. T & T Honda insisted a new Genuine Honda starter will fix it and has implied that they will not be held accountable if it does not. I used dealership-based service, despite the cost, to try to ensure some level of consistency, reliability and accountability while having to relocate to different cities. I've been laid off three times in three years, so money is tight and the decision to make that investment was not an entirely easy one. But apparently it was an investment in stupidity. I've especially enjoyed not hearing back from them for days at a time and then being repeatedly told that I am misunderstanding what they and/or the second mechanic said. I can, in fact, use a phone, and have had to multiple times to call the second mechanic back to confirm that no, I was 100% clear on what he had told me. What fun - I get to have no functional car and be gaslighted while the second mechanic gets his time wasted. That's some highly professional treatment of both colleagues and clients there, T & T Honda. An update: a week later and it continues. They are offering to do another starter replacement free, which would be sort of nice except for the part where a) it's a bandaid solution and b) instead of the new one they previously insisted would solve all my problems and actually offered verbally last week, they've now decided that nope, I get a remanufactured one. Apparently, I have once again "misunderstood". Even though I took written notes of the verbal offer and therefore know it was for $1300 of parts and labour, whereas today's written offer was for $841 of parts and labour. Classy, guys, classy.

I like honda cars, but the service dept at Honda t&t is just terrible. I lost trust in them, no plans to go back. Mike has the worst suggestions.

The team at T&T made the purchase of my new car an easy one. The courteous and professional approach in helping me to evaluate my options made the process feel much less frustrating than in my past experience with other dealerships. The manager ensured that I fully understood viable options for my budget and criteria and answered any questions I had. Throughout the process I felt more and more confident about my decision to purchase and my final choice. Although Duane expressed they were simply doing their job, not anything special, I think these guys definitely go above and beyond. I would recommend buying from T&T Honda.

Very Disrespectful

My family has bought cars from T and T Honda, for years we been having issues, and after talking to Rick Brar we have decided that we no longer will be doing business with this dealership, the sales manager was very disrespectful and unsympathetic to our concerns.

A terrible experience

I have to complain Duane Lewis and I think your company need to retrain this guy how to do a customer service. I have been to many vehicle dealers and I never seen a MANAGER who treats customer like that with a such a xxxx service. How much for me to trade my vehicle is my business, if you cannot accept it ,then we are done for this trade in. You don't need to show me that your ugly face. No eye contact, was sitting there like a boss when he talked with us, how comfortable for you to sit like that? Oh, yes, he told to salesman that he need to go back to work and just walk out from the office without saying anything to us after he asked about what price we are keeping stand for. WOW, WHAT'S A WONDERFUL MANAGER YOU ARE. So, do I need to say sorry for you, Duane Lewis?

Unreliable 2015 odyssey

Great and friendly staff, service advisors including the service manager. However, in 2015, I purchased a new 2015 honda odyssey (my third purchased from them) and in 2017, I felt severe vibration on my steering wheel at highway speed going downhill when braking, went for service and they machined my rotors due to warping, then went for a road trip and still felt the same. Went back for service and the service manager took my van for a roadtest and also felt the vibration, at this time, the manager instructed to replace my rotor with their latest supposedly reliable rotor in september last year at no cost as the van is still on warranty. 2 weeks ago, had a chance to go for a long drive and still felt the same issue. Went to have it check and still due to warping of rotors. Now that its 7 thousand passed mt warranty, they will charge me for machining the rotor which will not prevent the warping. I guess I have to carry the burden of the defect that it came with the van that I bought.

Replacement of different all seasons tires

On October 06, 2017, I met with a service adviser Oubid Farag. I requested to install all seasons tires michelin defender production 2017. He says yes. One hour later I asked him again to ensure that they will install the right tires. He said it is too early. few hours later on, I found out, that they installed 3 tires from 2016 and one tire from 2015 different tires. The service adviser left T and T Honda without telling me, where I was waiting and looking for him. I feel deceived by this service adviser and I feel unsafe to drive during the winter time.

Great experience purchasing my 2017 Honda CR-V

I was in the market to purchase a smaller SUV and had completed some research on a few possibilities. When it came time to check out the CR-V, Darren was fantastic at explaining the differences, taking the time to ensure I understood the different features of each model. He did this in an honest, respectful manner. He gave me the information and let me make the best decision for me and my family. The CR-V won out over all the four possibilities I was looking at and I love my CR-V!

New Honda Civic - A major first

I have driven Ford for over 15 years and dealt with one dealership for all my vehicle purchases. I required a change to my monthly expenses but also wanted a safe, stylish, dependable vehicle when trading in my oversized SUV. When attempting to return as a customer to my previous dealership, to look at options, discuss needs, and concerns, my request was ignored - I will call you back (still waiting). Customer Service means a lot to me, so I took exception to this and started to expand my horizons. On a whim and a friends recommendation I looked on T and T's webpage which resulted in an immediate call from Johnny. Johnny took time out of his day to share about Honda, as he was made aware I was completely unfamiliar. As and independent mother, concerns for safety and reasonable economics were discussed and Johnny listed. He offered direction and options. In no way did I feel like an inconvenience asking questions that Im sure longtime, savvy Honda owners would know but Johnny provided clarity and education to all inquires. Upon the conclusion of our call, I was invited to call back any time, if I needed anything further. No pressure. I spent the next week doing extensive research on Honda, the dealership and on Johnny as a sales rep. Please with the outcome of my research, I followed up with Johnny to make an onsite visit to discuss options. The result was a purchase of a new Honda Civic EX-T. From the immediate start of my interaction with Johnny, to working with Jenise in finance - who worked number magic to assist in the best financial outcome for me and my daughter - to the delivery and explanation of the vehicles details by Ramy was a great experience. I felt welcome, cared about and not like a number or "a sale". I was treated with respect by each person I had the privilege of communicating with. Johnny - Thank you for listening and helping re-evaluate my auto/financial needs Jenise - Thank you for caring about my financial requirements and advocating for the best possible out come for me Ramy - Thank you for helping this Honda newbie with all those pretty bells and whistles, your education session was incredibly helpful! 15 years of Ford erased by impeccable customer service at T and T Honda.

When I purchased my first car here in 2009 I was very pleased with everything about this dealership. Kelvin Hur sold me my first CRV and he had to be the best salesman I had ever dealt with - anywhere. By the time I bought my second car in 2012, things were a bit different. I had a few issues getting the car because of a lot of red tape in their finance dept, but it all came together in the end. By car three in 2016 there were many changes at the dealership. Kelvin no longer sold cars but was in the finance dept. Too bad about that. When I needed service I learned there was no longer a shuttle other than the early AM service among other issues making it hard for me to stay with this dealer. I requested a manger call me and nobody called me back. They were getting a little too busy to remember customer service I think so I have since moved to another dealership for my service and will buy my next car at the new dealer in 2018.
