DO NOT GO THERE!

Took my Corolla in for air bag recall. When I got it back the under carriage faring was missing and parts were put back together with plastic zip ties. I complained to the general manager and he said that he had to believe his service manager.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Be careful on ywhen ur lease!!

I traded in my lease when I was told I had a few months remaining— once the contract was signed, I was called the next day and told they made a mistake and I owed more money— that I need to come back in! I am now in contact with a lawyer, and I. Touch sadly with a DMV investigator as this seems to be what toyota of Thousand Oaks does.... gets you into a contract — then once you have the car , they call and say you owe more money!!! Totally illegal!! And they are being investigated ! DO NOT TRUST AL OR RON!!’

I would not recommend this dealer.

GO ELSEWHERE —We bought a CPO Avalon on October 13, and 4 months later, Mark B and Al D do NOT follow up on problems, do NOT return calls, make FALSE promises and do not care at all about customer service. i have kept text messages and their broken promises to fix the problem we have with our radio. They want to illegally use another car’s Vehicle identification number which we won’t do. I have sat with 8 of their salesmen who get in the car and say “I will try, but I don’t know how this works”. WHAT? Shouldn’t salesmen know about the cars they sell? And to top it off, RON Blomquist, general manger does not return calls, or answer my YELP review. If you read his standard response to the multitude of complaints, he uses the same line....I’m disappointed that.....but with a favorable review that they must beg customers to write, he replies with a standard thank you....He must get these responses out of a book. I do commend Allen Escobedo for his help on getting the smoke smell out and following up to see if it was satisfactory. This was a simple thing, but he followed up several times on a minor manor. He is professional and should run the place And train Ron, Al and Mark.

Don't deal with Tania

I was contacted by Tania Sunday morning saying she would love to earn my business. I told her what I was expecting and she agreed. When I got there the situation changed. All of a sudden they offered double what I was promised. $379 a month with a down payment!! Please look at the picture attached. Don't believe anything they tell you over the phone it's a bait n switch tactic they do there, so they can try and convince you to buy the car at a higher price because you are already at their dealership. Horrible service.

Thousand Oaks Toyota has been my #1 dealership to go to for over 27 years both for personal and business. Bought and leased many cars through the years. They also service all my Toyotas ( currently 4 ). I also buy parts from them and I can openly and honestly say they are the best in all areas. They continuously strive to deliver the best customer service. Highly recommend them.

I took my Highlander when my car started to run hot. They said they will check it out and called me to tell me it would be about $2700 to fix my car. Since I needed the vehicle, I talked to the service writer and got the price down to about $1000. I said OK, but I still had reservations. After over a week, because they had to order parts and they found more parts needed to be replaced. The cost got up to $2400. When finally the car was done, I asked for the parts? I wanted to see the parts they had replaced. THEY SAID THEY THROUGH THE OUT. I said "I paid for the parts, they are my parts not yours. I want my parts." I think they either put rebuilt parts and jacked up the bill. They cheated my and that is why they throw away the my parts(If they had them in the first place). DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS DEALER. I will file with the BoAR with the State of California and with Toyota.

Rude employees

Horrible service department. First time I brought my vehicle in to check out the electrical (interior lights were out), I got other work added on, but they forgot to check the lights. Went in again to get the electrical checked and decided while there to get my driver's side door mirror replaced. It was loose but not hanging off and taped up well. When I checked my vehicle out (which I am very careful about dings or dents), I found they had put two black marks on the door while changing out the mirror. I tried to get the marks off but could not. I called to tell them about the black marks and a rude service advisor suggested I was responsible for the black marks. He was rude, argumentative and hung up on me. This is typical of their service department if THEY make a mistake...blame the customer. This is the culture of this service department. I have had problems before and I can't believe it is only me. I even bought this vehicle new from this Toyota dealership. Never again!

floor mats

I ended up buying a wonderful used Camry. However, there were no floor mats whatsoever in the auto. I did not notice until I started driving the next day and I was tracking in mud. My salesman went the extra mile and made sure that I got my floor mats, greatly appreciated.....

They use deceptive business practices! Buyer beware!!!

I bought a new car there. They lied to me about the warrantee. They added options onto the contract without discussing the cost. They didnot let me read the contract before signing it. In fact they use an electronic device to capture the signature so I could not even see the contract.

Horrible Experience at Thousand Oaks Toyota

I arrived at 8:30 in the morning to check on my Toyota Prius as the engine light was intermittently coming on. I did not hear anything back, so I called at 11:45am and was told that I would get a call back in 15 minutes. 3 hours later, I was told my car needed an oil change and it would be ready by 4:30. I explained that I needed the shuttle to pick me up as late as possible and was told it would come at 5 or 4:30. It arrived at 3:30. I left work to hopefully quickly pick up my car and get back ASAP. However, when I arrived, my car was not even ready. Horrible communication and no follow-up. I will not go back.

I went here for starters because my father-in-law bought his truck here and loved the service so i thouhght i would give it a try. I walked in and there was Roger.... Amazing saler/person has been able to place me into my 2nd car here at the dealer. Hes really laid back and friendly. Ive been there a few times just to look at cars and see which one i would like next (we were sealing my husband older truck). These guys are friendly and funny, but are about selling the cars to people and working their best offer that they can TOO YOU!!!. I work crazy hours and was only able to go at night. These guys stayed there until 11:30PM to make sure once all the paper work was done that i left with a smile on my face and walked me thought the WHOLE car. Cliff did all my paper work. Walked me thought everything so i would know what i was signing and understood all the infomation. These guys are not pushy at all they were very much so about helpping me. I will always tell friends and family to go here. :)

WORST EXPERIENCE

My primary sales person did not show up to our appointment. we were waiting for almost an hour untill someone finally spoke to us. we did not receive proper acknowledgement of the car. we had waited for 5 hours! this is unacceptable, I will never ever recommend anyone nor come back again!

Excellent service and Price

Last night, I bought a Toyota Rav4 from "Junior Ashtiani" and he was so helpful. Find the right color for me, and on top of that took care of my remaining lease return and I was so excited and happy. We just went to see the car, but "Junior" explained the car so good to us that we ended up Leasing a New 2014 Toyota Rav4 and am very happy with his service. This is our 3rd car which was leased by Junior Ashtiani, over the past 7 years going there. 100% recommended his service.

We had a great experience buying a new Avalon yesterday. The salesman, Mike, was exceptionally helpful, and Andy, the General Sales Manager, was friendly, cooperative, and easy to talk to. We highly recommend them. It is the best experience we ever had buying a new car. We also have used the service department for our previous cars, and have been extremely happy dealing with them, especially Yobi.
