Destroyed our transfer case while replacing transmission

Brought our rogue in at 93 k miles junk transmission..replaced for free and on list of fixes they stated brakes, bearing .exhaust leak....picked up days later with new transmission...got home thing was leaking like a xxxxxxx fir days...called back they said we told you about leaking transfer case we forgot to put on print out sorry human error...no way I said...there wasn't a drop on my driveway I had just installed ..they said we told you.they lied..they ruined it and wont cover it..we are filing in small claims as of right now and writing bad reviews on every site we can...ruined our car...never buy a Nissan again

Bait and switch

I drove 1.5 hours to see a car which I saw on Car Gurus. I went for a test drive and when it came time to talk price, they raised the price $1000 over internet price. Reason was that internet price included discounts for vets or college students. This was not ever told to me through numerous conversations or anywhere on the internet listing. Usually internet pricing is firm.

I would not recommend this dealer.

After interacting with many Nissan dealers in my area I was pleased to find one who not only was able to perform a complicated repair perfectly but Don the Service Advisor actually cared. He truly appreciates your business hard to find this anymore. I would recommend them.

ABSOLUTE LACK OF SKILL ALL AROUND

ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIED at the lack of customer service and financial skills of all at Dartmouth Nissan. I have never in my life had a bad experience buying a used car. When you put a down payment on a car and have over $10K cash the car never should of been sold underneath until it was discussed and told sale was over no other option. I had a signed purchase and sales on approval of finance. My situation/credit was not the easiest to work with, however I was up front and honest from day one what they had to work with they assured me they knew exactly how to deal with it and would be no problem. They ruined my credit with 10 hard hits. Came back and told me it would not work, so I asked about a cosigner was told yes great idea lets do it, no mention of a different car or the original one I wanted was sold, they in turn ran his credit and then came back and said yes its a go but for a totally different car. WHAT? WHY? finance agent said all she could get for him makes no sense this was a regular finance, why put thru with different car then what was on purchase sale. She didn't have the guts to tell me the original car was sold. It took about 5 more phone calls to managers to find this information out. I was under the impression as I had been in contact with someone everyday that they were working with me well guess what THEY SOLD THE CAR on me and once finance went thru offered me a completely different car. ABSOLUTELY DUMBFOUNDED at the lack of skill!! Melanie was the only one helping but kept the information out that they sold the car and ran my cosigners credit after the fact and that's not suitable.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Finance added thousands to my principle

They sell you to a bank that works for them in the end you pay way more than list price because they lie yo you. I'm paying thousands more than the deal made and my check engine light keeps coming on, they will not help me. Never again !!!!

A Very Poor Experience

Originally decided that I’d go with this dealer as I felt I had negotiated a pretty good deal on a 2018 model, despite them being a good distance from where I live in Boston. They were willing to honor their online quotes, they had the package on the car I wanted, and the guys there seemed honest enough. As soon as I let my rep know that I wanted to proceed with the deal things started to go south. When I had initially negotiated the price, I put a deposit to hold the vehicle, signed some preliminary paperwork, and my rep mentioned that this way I could sign the final agreements, and pick up the car a few days later and avoid making multiple trips back and forth. I had made an appointment with their finance rep over the phone, and after driving over an hour in rush hour traffic to be on time, ended up having to sit and wait 45 minutes to be seen because the only finance rep was with another customer. When I did meet with someone, they informed me that my trade/buyout of my current lease was $400 more than we had been using in our initial calculations, and they weren’t willing to cover that cost. If they had called me with this information after confirming the actual buyout price, I would have been much less annoyed and taken some further time to consider the deal without having to be taken by surprise, and possibly would have walked from the deal knowing they wouldn’t have covered the additional expense. I was then told that I wouldn’t be able to drive the car home that night as my rep had initially said, since they’d need to get it registered and inspected. So I set up a date that Saturday morning to take delivery of the car. I’m 45 mins into my drive to the dealer to pick it up and the manager calls me and says they’re having trouble getting the car registered under my name with the RMV and they’d need to go to the RMV on Tuesday in-person to process the registration. Knowing that I was coming Saturday morning for my delivery, one would think this would’ve been taken care of the day before, and the RMV would then have been open to do anything necessary in-person. So I go again the day that they’re able to successfully register the car, and had to wait another 45 mins for them to get my car ready for delivery (again, with them aware of my appointment to pick it up). On top of it all, they still forgot to get a Mass inspection sticker on the car, and they said I could do it over the course of the next 7 days closer to home and they’d reimburse me with a check. So basically I made my first month payment and couldn’t drive the car home until a week later, and also paid their doc fee just to have to do the legwork of going to get my own state inspection. These guys just really need to get their act together. My past car buying/leasing experiences have been much more smooth, and I won’t be visiting any dealer in this auto group in the near future, and recommending friends in the area to do the same.

Quick and Easy

I had an issue with my tire that needed immediate attention. I called the salesman Jared who had sold me the car and he got me right in to handle the problem. Although I didn't get the name of the gentleman that helped me in the service department I did have a conversation with a GM named Al. I've really enjoyed all of the interactions that I've had at this dealership. What a group of good people. Get your Nissan here!
