Poor Service

I bought my car here in March of this year and returned two months later because the lock on my driver door stopped working. They fixed this for me under warranty. I noticed when I picked my car later that afternoon that, the window tint in the front corner had been scratched, I know from them removing the window. I notified my service provider immediately, and he without question said they would get that taken care of (which is already shady to me). However, I would have to wait an entire month to be scheduled with the tint provider. I patiently waited until my scheduled date. I brought my car in, taking additional time off work to do so. I was informed no loaner car would be made available to me because this was a 'good will' fix and that they probably did not even cause the damage to my window. I asked to speak with the manager, and he told me the same thing. "The probability that they scratched your tint isn't likely, but since you bought the car here, I am doing this out of goodwill, we don't provide loaner cars to anyone here. I can only offer you a discounted rate if you would like to rent a car. No car dealerships give out loaner cars unless they're luxury, like Lexus or Mercedes, but you're obviously paying more for their cars..." is what he told me. He made me feel like he was doing me a favor. I felt talked down to, mistreated, and not a priority as a woman and as a customer. I felt discriminated against as an Asian woman asking for a request. There was no explanation of anything. I was nothing but cordial and just wanted a car for a few hours to get to work and back. The shuttle that I took home last time dropped off three other people and me last, even though I was probably the closest, for a commute that took almost an hour. I am extremely unhappy with service here and will be taking my service elsewhere from now on.

Wait time

I addressed my concern with the 2 1/2-3 hour wait time for a scheduled check up for my car and have taken it twice, but neither time was I willing to wait the time they considered normal. It would have helped if they had told me on the phone that it would be so long and I could have made other plans. When I spoke to the service manager, Manny Cavazos, he seemed to think that poor service and a long wait time is normal. Nothing will improve with this normalization of what is not good customer service. Manny scoffed at my saying that scheduling a service that I could not wait 3 hours for ruined half of my day. I do not appreciate his condescending attitude. Fortunately, there are plenty of other Toyota dealerships in the San Diego area. I would rather drive for a longer distance than put up with this type of service. The employees with whom I dealt, other than the manager, were very polite. The way the cars are scheduled is very disorganized. Would you wait in a doctors' office for 3 hours?

Alfonso was very attentive with my mother and I, also very patient as my mother wasnt feeling very well and had to leave to take her to urgent care. He helped us find the right car and worked with our payments and downpayment. Hes very professional and knows how to treat and care for his customers.

My very first car

Could not have done this without Alex. I asked for this car and got on it asap and it arrived in a week. When it finally came to the lot, Alex contacted me and I was there to see it for the first time and test drive it. Alex was very informative and answered all my questions even dumb questions I had. He gave me a great deal. I didn’t even hesitate to check out other dealers. Even though I met him through my friend, we connected like we’ve known each other. So thankful he made my first car purchase a good experience. I’m so comfortable with him i told him i will blow up his phone if i ever have anymore questions. Thank you again Alex and Toyota of Chula Vista!

Whenever I buy a car, I usually try to avoid dealers like a plague and would rather deal with private parties. Not this dealer: Though I had my reservations at first, I decided to go in and check out this CPO Avalon Hybrid after back and forth conversation with Mr. Alejandro Roehr. Mr. Roehr is very courteous, patient and knowledgeable, able to answer all of my questions and concerns. I also dealt with Ms. Anna Caruso who is very friendly and seems to know Toyota product offerings well also. All in all, I had a great experience with this dealer and would not hesitate to recommend it for anyone looking for a great deal!

New Car needed 911 within 2 hours! :)

My car was in recall for over a year, so I had a RAV 4 rental, while in Europe for a wedding I got a call that I needed to return my rental and pick up my Corolla at another dealership. Well in the year I had the rental I had a baby so I clearly a Corolla was not going to work for me anymore! The problem was I had to drive up north the next day to get ready for another wedding! I picked up my Corolla, drove 10 minuets with the bay in my car and called Toyota Chula Vista to see if they could get me in a car or if I should go rent a car for the mini road trip. Victor and Alex took down all my requests and info while I was driving there and got us out and pin our way fast enough to take a confetti picture with our new car🎉🎉

I've been to a lot of dealerships and this by far has been the best experience I've had. Most dealerships make you feel like a just another random person, but I was treated like family!! Anna and Alex were fantastic and very welcoming from the moment I stepped in until the moment I drove off in my awesome new Tacoma!!

Awaiting overdue review report. Saturday 8/5/17. My actual first vehicle service maintenance. Thanks to service Manager Manny Cavazos for acknowledging my appointment using my coupon one week prior to and day of service. To Danny approach me offered water and brought it making me comfortable. Israel Duron service advisor make my wait an eased. Out of there in less time. Thanks to Service Director Jose Naranjo. Without good service Manager or Director their will be no good service staffs. Without a good service staffs there will be no good service Manager or Director. Hoping not to Change keep up the good work. Thanks guys.

Phenomenal Service: Beginning to End.

My experience at the Toyota Chula Vista dealership was down right phenomenal. One of my biggest concerns when thinking about purchasing a car is feeling as though I am being taken advantage of when stepping onto a car dealership. -A fish in a shark tank if you will. This was NOT the case at this dealership. Never once did I feel pressured to purchase the vehicle; and I felt as though I was given honest answers to all of my questions. Alex and Victor listened to my goals as a customer and helped me meet my goals. Both charismatic, professional, and well versed in the purchasing process and vehicles they had to offer, I felt confident with my purchase. From the first individual I encounter, to Victor and Alex who actually helped sell the car to me, to Eddie, the individual who helps maintain the cars that come through the dealership, they all held up the same excellent customer service standard. I feel confident in my purchase and am happy to say that I would recommend Toyota Chula Vista to my friends and family and come back to purchase my future cars here.

OIL CHANGE SERVICE

I have at appointment for oil change service. I was on line for about 30 minutes before the I talk to the service advisor. I was on the service counter at exactly 0845 (actual appointment time). I was promised the it will be done by 10:32, but it's not. Until at around 11: 30, when I ask the service advisor if my car service was done. He went to check, and came back telling me it was not done yet. Service was not done not until 11:50, so I left the dealership around 12:00 noon.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Customer service sucks

If you ever service your car here at Toyota Chula Vista on main st do know their customer service sucks!!! Was waiting to get the keys to my car I was totally invisible to them. Not even recognized saying at least "we will be with you shortly" NOTHING! oh but they ate quick to be sweet and nice to sell you a car. I will never come back to this place again. I've been a loyal customer for years and I am finally giving up in this place.oh yeah as imstanding here Personal info exposed to others to see. Good luck coming here!!
