Rude Salesman

We went to purchase a car in the low 20k range. Our salesman Sal was pushy from the start, showing us cars in the 26-30k range. Told us we would have the same payments if we get a longer loan or we could just lease brand new car. We told him we were not interested in those and would still like to look in the 20k range. After looking some and not seeing anything we were wanting we realized we needed to regroup and do more research. We explained we were giving our current car to our soon to be 16 year old. Sal told us we shouldn't do that and started arguing with my husband. We decided to walk away. My husband looked at me and said this is unbelievable. Sal turned around and screamed in front of everyone, "Yeah, Unbelievable!!" I could not believe how rude this salesman was! We will never go back here!

Bait & Switch or Churn and Twist

Buying the vehicle was quite an ordeal, told there was a warranty on POV (untrue), told get the best financing (untrue) (dealer financed for higher % and longer period) my credit not an issue. Plan to pay off anyway, last paperwork looks like that will penalize me!! Told one amount including taxes and no admin fee (untrue), added taxes and admin fee after sitting down with finance officer. Finance officer prodded several times that I needed warranty and cost was huge, especially when first told covered!! . Told vehicle AWD (LIE), told 5 days to change mind (not according to paperwork)!!! Very disappointing experience, I will not buy another vehicle or recommend this dealership!

Overjoyed to become a new family member of a Nissan

I can't start to begin how ecstatic I am with Twin City Nissan. From the first phone call with Melanie setting up my appt. She made me feel very welcome and to her pairing me with Chris Barrom whom is very knowledgeable and answered every question I asked. I was glad he road with us just to help me understand all my new bells and whistles on my 2017 Nissan Sentra SL and a shout out to Harold who helped me get the deal of a century. I'd encourage everyone to stop here first just like I did. No need to go to any other dealership. Thanks for such a wonderful experience

General Manager poor excuse for a human

My brother"s 2016 Frontier had been recently totaled in a accident.Having worked with Chris Barrom a few years back.I recommended Chris to my family.My brother made a legit offer to the Mgr and then the GM starting talking to us like we were idiots(needless to say I managed a Nissan dealership in Chatt until it sold and I retired)The GM preceeded to tell us he was losing money selling it as list price.He offered to show me the deal screen on the ADP system.I ask him to show me the gross screen to see what had been added to the cost.My brother was going to lunch and the GM came out to the parking lot and insulted us.The only reason he purchased was the hard work the sales person Chris had put in

Poor Mgmt

I bought a pathfinder got it certified and have had multiple problems with the worst service from mgmt and sales or service dept .They treat you like you are bothering them and will tell you they cannot find a problem. the next visit charge you for fixing the problem they said you didn't have the time before. Left car for three days to get repairs and it was never touched said they were booked up but couldn't reschedule. Was worried about returning rental but not fixing my car . This is just the start but you get the idea

Clear coat peeling. Still not resolved

After my original post about the clear coat peeling on the vehicle I purchased from Twin City, I noticed a response stating it is their understanding I am in contact with someone from dealership. That would be false!! I still have NOT been contacted by anyone from Twin City! I was asked several weeks ago to send photos of car to Mike, which I did immediately! When and if this problem has been resolved, I will post an update with steps taken to correct the problem. Believe me when I say, I would like nothing better than to be able to update my original review with a positive one. Great customer service deserves as much recognition as negative. So, No! Your understanding is wrong. I would very much appreciate being contacted by someone so I know where I stand on this issue, and what I need to do next.

Worth the drive to Oak Ridge

On 12-12-17 I met a salesman told him what I was specifically interested in which was a 2017-18 Nissan Versa he gathered my information and 10 minutes later pulled up in a used Versa and asked me to drive it said that was the only one they could get financed ? Note he said it was $16,000.00 the new versa sticker price at this dealership was $15,000.00 THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF !!! save your time and go to Oak Ridge Nissan bought a new Nissan versa out the door $11,000.00 sticker price !! Twin City Nissan is a JOKE don't make the same mistake I did and waster almost 3 hours of your time when I should have drove 10 minutes down the road to a 5 star dealership

lying and arrogant sales manager

This was my first time dealing with Twin City. Salesman was very nice and knowledgeable. Not overly pushy as some can be. However, when time came to negotiate the price and trade, I saw how their sales manager really treats people! Was lured in with a newspaper ad that they then would not honor. Then they misrepresented the price of the vehicle by saying...they would sale me the vehicle for X price and pay off my trade. However, with just a quick glance it was obvious that the trade pay off was then added onto the backside of the loan. When I questioned the salesman he told me I was wrong. After I got up to leave he got the sales manager who proceeded to not only tell me I was wrong, but speak to me like I was an idiot. Incapable of understanding such technical math. I was very disappointed and obviously will not do business with them in the future. Many other Nissan dealers in the Knoxville area.

In and out the door with a new car!

I preselected a 2017 Nissan Versa SV on the Nissan website and found Twin City Nissan to have a better selection of vehicles. I was able to go straight to the car that I wanted, hand Matthew my driver's license and test drive the car. Within a couple of hours, I was walking out with keys in hand. But not before Matthew had a chance to introduce me to Cory, one of the service techs that will help me keep up with the maintenance of my new vehicle. Matthew even hooked up my Bluetooth! I had a wonderful car buying experience. It was easy and convenient!

Said car has no problems, has multiple problems.

Purchased a 2009 Civic with 50k miles, cash. Was told by two SALES REPS that there were no problems. Driving it home I noticed the CV joint was bad $400+ to fix. Weather stripping was dry rotted and came detached while driving home, banging against the paint and window on the interstate leaving scratches. If my window was down it would have put out my eye. Had to pull over. I've had the car for less than 2 weeks and I already regret it. Never again.

Attentive and A spirit of Excellence

I have wanted a JUKE for over 3 years. I visited this dealership three times before I finally purchased a car. My salesperson Phillip Bizak was very patient with me. He respected my car choice, price point and time. I NEVER FELT PRESSURED! He walked me through the process and made me feel like I was his only client. The finance portion was tedious, but Gabriel worked hard to find me an even better rate than my own credit union offered me. I am so thankful to Phillip and Gabriel for making this a great experience for me. I purchased a great car at a great price from a great company! Bless you Twin City Nissan. I AM ONE HAPPY JUKE DRIVING GRANDMA!!!

I went into Twin City Nissan with a specific car in mind. I was helped right away by Matthew Garber. Matthew took his time showing me all my different options, and when they didn't have the perfect car I was looking for he helped me create it! After leaving and doing my research I realized they had the most competitive prices and went back to purchase the car. Even though already gone for the day Matthew went out of his way to come back and help me close the deal. If you shop here with twin city I highly recommend him, he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He took his time with me and seemed to genuinely cared about what I was looking for instead of just trying to push a sale on me. I also have had serval problems with my Nissan rouge recently, and have had several places tell me nothing was wrong with it though clearly it was shaking and the air conditioner was making noise. Cory in the service department was able to figure out and fix the problem in no time. My car is driving get and the air conditioner is running awesome just in time for this heat wave. It's so nice to deal with people who know what they are doing. Thanks twin city for making my process so easy!

Needle In A Hay Stack

I was looking for a small car with low miles, no money down, no co-signer and a payment under $300 per month. Since I am in the middle of a divorce/mess and had with my credit score, financially...I DID NOT THINK THERE WAS ANY WAY I WOULD EVEN GET APPROVED FOR ANYTHING...MUCH LESS THIS GOOD OF A DEAL?!?!??!! HOWEVER...Mike Jones and Bill Keeton did better than this?!?!?!!? Met all my criteria and even got me in a car that had less than 11,000 miles on it WITH NO CO-SIGNER AND...even though the car was 7 years old, it drove, looked and even SMELLED new?!?!?! :-) LOVE MY LITTLE CAR!!!!! Thank you all SOOO much!!!! As Bill said, "girl, you found a needle in a hay stack"?!?!?! :-) LOL!!! BILL...YOU ARE SO RIGHT?!?!?!?! THANKS AGAIN, GUYS!!!! We received great service from a very knowledgeable salesman for our new car. We asked for all the options and he presented them with no pressure whatsoever. Matthew Garber was our salesman and I feel he went above and beyond his duties to meet our needs. We took a trip in the car and we are loving the new Rogue. Following a very bad experience at another dealership, I decided to give Twin City Nissan a try. I had been there late last year and dealt with Matthew Garber. Did not buy at the time, but remembered how nice I was treated. No pressure, which being a woman shopping by herself was very much appreciated. I received the same treatment when I returned this week. I truly believe that I received the best possible price, and treated with much respect. So much that when I told my sister about the deal, she went to the same sales person and bought a car. If I ever decide to purchase another car I will definitely return to Matthew Garber at Twin City Nissan.

Worst dealership I've been to

Where do I begin. So, last week I was in the market for a new car and Twin City Nissan was recommended to me. I called and spoke to a very nice Saleswoman (Nicky) who I felt legitimately wanted to help me buy a car. I made an appointment to see the sales manager that evening to have my vehicle appraised for trade-in . When I arrived on the lot to have my vehicle appraised, I felt like from the get go that the sales manager didnt want to make a deal with me. My suspicions were confirmed when he spent only 45 seconds looking at my vehicle, then told me that there's pre-much no vehicle he could put me in because my payments would be about 475 to 500 and something dollars a month. He said just keep driving want I have because no dealership could get my payments to where I wanted which was 375 to 400 monthly. Two days later I purchased a brand new Nissan Altima from Ted Russell Nissan. Not only did they do the trade, they were very patient and professional. Also, with the excellent deal they got me on my trade-in, the Altima was was purchased under MSRP and my payments came in under 400 a month, right where I wanted them. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra few minutes to Ted Russell you'll be very pleased you did.
