Fantastic Service

I first started looking for a car for my wife and Tim Hartzog helped me find the perfect vehicle. Not only did he do a great job showing me car options, they delivered the car to our lake home and the “genius” spent a great deal of time walking my wife through the controls. The experience was so good that Tim helped me find the perfect new BMW at another dealership and we did the entire transaction by phone, text, and email. The Genius delivered the new car to my home, took my trade in back with him, completed all the paperwork involved, and walked me through the controls. The level of service and the quality of this line of BMW is exceptional. Tim does an awesome job making sure the whole process goes well.

Tim and his team at BMW of Roanoke were very accommodating and responsive throughout the selection, ordering, delivery, and post-delivery process. I would recommend BMW of Roanoke and would not hesitate to order through them again.

HORRIBLE!!!

THE WORST DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!!!! Please, do yourself a favor and never go there. I paid a $2000.00 repair in service. My car wasn't repaired properly the first time. I was told to bring it back by the service manager and he would make it right. While waiting in the lobby, after driving and additional two hours for the second time, and another day off from work. I hear the service adviser talking to the service technician who worked on my car. The conversation lead to a not my problem kind of deal..... Mortified I got up and spoke to both of them and let them know my car wasn't fixed properly the first time....... Could you please help me I asked? I just want my car fixed for what I originally brought it in for, and already paid for. I ended up speaking with the General Manager John Musilli on the phone. He consulted the Owner, a Mr. Gregory. They both exuded a not our problem kinda attitude, and strongly disagreed with my concerns.... WOW This just solidified that this dealership has a "CULTURE PROBLEM", from the top to the bottom. A real we are the only game in town mentality!!!!!! Customer beware, and for goodness sake, STAY AWAY!!!!

Purchase new 2018 X5

Met Tim when I walked into the dealership, very helpful in answering my initial questions, interests, immediately offered me different X5's to drive, no pressure, introduced me to Jeff the general manager. The new owner introduced himself to me, and made it a point to let me know Roanoke BMW is taking a new approach to the car business, the way it should be, potential clients, and current, need to know their business is valuable. My initial impression was "Roanoke BMW really wants my business", unlike the previous owners. Got the vehicle I wanted at a fair price, and a fair deal on my trade in. Definitely will recommend Tim and Roanoke BMW to anyone interested.

The people at BMW/Roanoke are first class professionals. They are both professional and personal in their approach. From my first interaction with them in exploring a BMW, they set themselves apart from other dealerships. They provided a generous opportunity for me to test drive the vehicle. When the time came to make the purchase, they could not have been more professional. And their work in assuring that my new vehicle was delivered in showroom condition sets a standard of excellence that validated my decision to work with them. Fantastic experience all the way around!

Great buying experience with Brian and team!

My wife and I needed to upgrade to something larger after recently having our first child. We owned a 2-door BMW 328i converible. A beautiful little car, but definitely not the best choice for strollers and infant car seats. Brian was extremely helpful in putting us in the right vehicle, helping us find something that better suited our growing family's needs and guiding us through the whole process. He was both knowledgeable and patient as we test drove multiple vehicles on the lot. He answered all our questions, carefully went through all our options with us, and he never pressured us to purchase anything or hurried us to make a decision. We felt all along that he was more concerned with making sure we found the best fit for us, and was less concerned with whether or not he was going to make the sale. He and his team were wonderful, and worked long and hard to put us in the vehicle that was right for us, and right for our budget. Brian, and Bruce the GM, were able to give us a really fair trade in on our car, making it possible for us to make the purchase in the first place. And Doug was really great at working out all the loan details for us, and putting together a payment plan that worked for us. What a great team! We were happy with the experience, and very happy with our new vehicle (a 2013 pre-owned BMW X3).

Bad - Only responsive before sale - BMW 328 Purchase

2 Days after purchase I noticed the car didn’t have a back up camera as advertised - I kept the screen shot of that ad. AND the car is smoking now. I emailed Jason on the same Email we used prior to the sale about both issues and received no response. Prior to the sale I received plenty of responses. No need to call now so you can post that you called me. This helps me narrow down the dealer for my next purchase of a new 5 series in a few months when my current lease expires. Do not go here - they do a song and dance then service doesn’t follow.

Took my teenage son's old BMW in for an air bag recall. I've done this same thing at a different BMW dealer for my daughter's car and it took awhile. Roanoke BMW got the car in and made the repairs promptly. I hadn't even finished browsing the lot when it was done :-)

I drove from NY state to purchase the car after seeing it on-line ('05 M3).. Brian and Jason were involved and supportive from first contact through the actual purchase. It was obvious they put customer service #1!!

The BMW/Cadillac dealership staff was pleasant to work with and helpful, not pushy, and tried to think of everything i clould feasibly think of or would have wanted extra. Over all, Carlos and everyone I interacted with was fantastic!

I cannot say enough about the team at Roanoke BMW. They were able to turn a bad situation with my previous car into a very pleasant experience. I was not anticipating on having to buy a new car when I traveled to Roanoke. The team was able to work with me and got me into a new car in record time. I live and DC and will drive back down when it is time to buy another car!

Absolutely terrible

Not only do they charge you 150 dollars just to see what's wrong, they then charge you over $100 an hour for labor. My part was less than a 1/3rd of the actual cost. The rest was "labor". They told me it would be ready Friday had to call the following Tuesday to figure out what was wrong. Then called again Wednesday for them to tell me they could have it done Thursday after they found something else wrong. It's Saturday and still haven't heard a thing from them. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Picky Customer Gets Excellent Service

Chris in parts was quick to find what I needed and patient with my questions. He connected me with Brian in service, who scheduled a waiting-type appointment for me at a precise time, and who was careful to be accurate regarding what I wanted done. Greg, the service manager, came out to the waiting room to make sure that my bill reflected the promised price. Later Greg returned to let me know the work was done and that they would wash my car as part of the service if I didn't mind waiting. The wash was worth the wait as the car was detailed inside and out. While I waited in the show room, Faye, the receptionist, helped me pass the time with conversation ranging from the weather to gardening, to the intersection of botany and music, to sailing, and to local history. Destiny, the cashier, was friendly and quick to process my payment. The service work itself was perfect. The price was reasonable.

Service dept

My 2011 Beemer 535i warranty just expired at the same as one of my remote key is died on me Changed battery but no avail. Took in for Check up. They would charge $150 dollars to see what is wrong with it How in the world remote key not functioning while othe cheap cars I had over 10 years has no problem, not even changed batter once last 20 years. Really bad service to rip off!!
