All the staff we encountered was so friendly & very professional. Lloyd Facen was the best Salesman we’ve ever had. We needed special financing & he promised not to give up as long as we didn’t give up on him. My husband & I can never thank 5 Star enough for your help!

I literally went to look at a truck on my lunch break and picked it up after work to surprise my husband before he went to work... I am a first time buyer and was not looking to buying a new car but Lloyd took the time to help me choose the right car for me. He is an excellent salesperson and I could not be happier with my new car, I even got a full tank of gas which was great. He was full of energy and not once did I feel that he was annoyed by my indecisiveness. The other gentlemen that assisted with financing was very amenable and to the point. And the best part was that it was an easy and fast process which I liked a lot.

Best car buying experience EVER!!

We had an awesome experience with help from Billy, Bret, and all of the gang. We drove an hour and a half to look at a truck that we found online. Billy was so polite. He showed us all of the vehicle features, talked us through the entire process and was very professional. Bret was a great help getting us the deal that was perfect for our budget. We could not have asked for a better car buying experience. We will definitely be going back to purchase another vehicle from them. Thank you so much!!!

Beware of non-certified vehicles

Purchased used 2014 Ford Fiesta saw advertised online for sales price of $3,988. Called dealership and was told price was wrong. Correct price was $6,988. Still interested, offered $6,500 cash, all inclusive and offer was accepted. Purchased vehicle "as-is" and was not offered any warrantee. Once drove car home, noticed it hesitated and shuttered when accelerating from a stop. This was not evident during test drive at dealership. Took car to local Ford dealership to have two open recalls completed and a second key made as only received one. Also asked them to check on hesitation and shuttering. Ford dealer reported the car needed a new clutch and cost was $2,000 as not covered under any manufacturers warrantee and was a known issue for this year and model vehicle. Also was told that happens after car has "warmed up" and is less evident when cold explaining why we didn't notice at dealership until we drove car 30 miles home. Turns out that although the car looks like an automatic transmission it actually has a manual one that "works like" an automatic as there is no clutch pedal or shifting needed in the cabin. Contacted salesman and asked for help with this expense as issue was undisclosed and repair was 30% of sales price. They offered to have their sister Ford dealer look at car for me. Ford dealer offered to repair for employee pricing cost of ONLY $1,409. Asked Chevy dealer if they would be covering or helping with any of that expense and was told no. Spoke several times to Community Service Manager Michael Leatherwood but no offer to reduce cost any further was made. He is trying to get Ford Motor Company to cover under warrantee to no avail (as yet).

I would not recommend this dealer.

Lied to by service adviser and service technician

By mreedtec on 5/15/2018 at 1:28 PM. Helped by Joe the service manager, Ali service writer, and I forgot the tech that gave the fuel lesson.

Very bad experience and I am still paying for it. I came to 5 Star because it was close. NO OTHER REASON. I took my 2016 3500 in because of fuel tank/gauge issues. After 2 days, truck was returned but the issue was not resolved. Returned again (trip 2) for same repair. Again, 2 days later (6 days now without truck counting the day left) the truck was returned but the issue remained. Returned to the dealer, same issue and left the truck. Told they REALLY needed to go through it so it was left for 4 days. (I'm up to 11 days now without the use of my truck). Came and picked up the truck, was assured that it was fixed....nope...same problem. By this point, they "SAY" they changed out a fuel tank, hose, transfer pump. They "SAY" they have Chevrolet involved and it is fixed. Nope. Return to 5 Star, spoke to service manager Joe and explained my frustration. Joe said they will take care of it. Service writer Ali called and said they need to remove the bed of the truck to check things out. Said they would need it for a week. Took the truck in on Thursday. Called on Wednesday for status and was told by Ali that the bed was off and they were working on finding the problem. Picked the truck up the following Monday and was told they replaced some more stuff and the service tech was going to show me "how to fuel my truck"....REALLY? So the tutorial consisted of the tech telling me that I needed to turn the fuel nozzle a little to the left and not put it in too far and slowly fuel the truck...if it didn't work, I was to look under the bed and move the fuel hose down a little to remove any kinks in the hose.... REALLY? Okay, at this point I needed the truck back since they have now had it for about 3 weeks total. Took the truck on the road....still not right. Fuel gauge goes to E, check engine light comes on and I need to go back to the dealer. I chose not to go back to 5 Star. Went to James Woods in Denton (32 miles away). 1 day in James Woods and the service manager called and said the bed had never been removed and they were looking into the other supposed "repairs". DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO 5 STAR CHEVROLET IN CARROLLTON. Those people will lie to your face.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Wow! words can not describe how much pleasure I had to meet such great people such has Michael Leatherwood, Eric Garcia and Jason Volk men this 3 gentleman really when above and beyond. Mr. Leatherwood gave me some great advises, really nice person very serviceable, such a great spirit always with a great attitude this gentleman really makes Five Star Chevrolet SHINE you folks are Bless to have this Gentleman around. Eric Garcia wow such a great sales person the moment I shook his hand I knew I was with a good co-pilot. Very respective individual does not try to push the sale, very honest guy I want to mention that the close day he was off he had giving me his cell number and told me "I'm off tomorrow if you need me for anything please call me" so came Wednesday I decided to make the deal so call him and that was his off day but he told me to go inside and someone would help me but of course he was the one that had been helping me so I ask him ...can you come and close this for me.. and he came and took care of business for me. If your looking for Chevrolet I strongly recommend for you to come and ask for Eric Garcia trust me you will know what I'm talking about. Jason Volk.. wow this men... ?you know those strawberries they put with a Flan cake (dessert) to make it even more delicious? So this car was for my Wife, April is double celebration her birthday and our anniversary, 12 years of an awesome marriage. I did my homework shop around and went to my bank for a load well even-doe I was approve it was not for the amount I was looking for so I took that approval and a check cause I had decided to give this to my lovely wife so came Jason. He heard my conversation and told me ... give me a second let me make a couple of calls I'm gonna work on a better deal for you, we discuss the interest and payment per month and this Gentleman got me a super deal.. ZERO DOWN a better interest than what my bank approve me for WOW!! I was like ... really Jason :) unbelievable this Gentleman did it.. Guys really this 3 individuals really show me that I was not just another customer they really show me that I was friend. I am very happy to meet this 3 honest individuals. Recent Purchase_Used Car

I recently purchased a Honda Odyssey minivan for my family at Sam Pack's Five Star Chevrolet in Carrollton on Saturday 3/16/18. My salesman said he didn't know if there were two keys or if there was only one key. Later in the process another person said that there were two keys available, then after signing the financial documents I was told there had been a mistake and only one key was available. I ask repeatedly for the second key but was told that it was not possible since they were a Chevrolet dealer and had no access to Honda keys. I went ahead and drove the vehicle five hours back to my home in Lubbock but was still very unhappy. Michael Leatherwood called me the following Monday and wanted to know if the van was working out well for my family. I told how disappointed I was with not getting a second key. He did explain that not all used vehicles come with two keys but I again said I was told that there would be two keys. Long story short, Mr. Leatherwood and Mr. Pelayo arranged for me to obtain a second key at the local Honda dealer here in Lubbock to prevent me from driving ten hours round trip back to Carrollton to obtain a second key. I appreciate the work by Mr. Leatherwood and the entire management team at Sam Pack's Five Star Chevrolet in Carrollton for changing an unpleasant experience into a FIVE STAR experience.
