If I could give them 0 Stars I would. Dishonest financing department!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT LEASE ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE!!! They are dishonest and blame you even though they provided incorrect information. SHAME! Update: Although they are not willing to help me, they claim, "that person is no longer with us." So, how many more people got fed incorrect information about the additional coverage plan?.. CHECK YOUR PAPERWORK!!!! You have worked with this employee too!

I own a Fiat 500e with a broken tire pressure sensor. Daniel Cerna the Service Advisor took care of me. He repaired it plus he replaced a foggy rear lamp, plus a couple of recall upgrades. He told me that it was all covered under warranty. (It wasn't, but he had it covered anyway). Saved me $500.00 it repair cost. When i came to pick up my care i was very late and Danny had already gone home. He came but to the dealership to get my my care so i could take it home. Talk about going above and beyond the call of duty to help out a customer that was having a hard time navigate his day. Danny saved me hours of grief and i recommend taking your car to Van Nuys FIAT for all your service and repair needs. I know i will.

I tried to be a three-peat customer...

I tried 3 times to buy my THIRD Fiat from this dealership. I went to the showroom twice, and both times, I walked away frustrated and disappointed. I had a specific car in mind with specific equipment, and because they couldn't find the car I wanted, they tried very hard to sell me at least two cars that I didn't want. The salesperson lowballed me on my trade-in, and then lied to me about the value of the fact that my trade in had fewer than 13,000 miles on it. He told me that that added only a "couple of hundred dollars" to the value of my trade-in --- but according to Edmonds and KBB, that low mileage added nearly $1,800 to the value of my trade-in. This salesman also tried hardball tactics and instead of speaking to ME, he spoke to my (male) friend. They made me feel like they were doing me a HUGE favor just to take my money and that I should be grateful and buy whatever they had - instead of trying to find me what I wanted or work with me on the financing. I will never buy another car from them.

Best experience at a car dealership ever.

I've never been to a nicer car dealership. I was well taken care of and they found the car I wanted the day I came in. Felt very relaxed, not like a typical car negotiation, not pushy, extremely nice and respectful. They even went to CVS to buy my 9 yr old snacks. It was a great experience, I would recommend them every time. Erin Molkentin and Nick Naish were awesome.

Took well care of me and the car I wanted

After researching Nissan Leafs for the longest time I switched over to wanting a Fiat 500e and came across this dealership. From the moment I stepped on the lot Erin made me feel welcomed and cared for. When I proposed to test drive a car from a different vendor first, to really make sure the Fiat 500e is what I wanted, there was no push-back but rather understanding and a confidence to have a great product. When the test drive with the other car/vendor wasn't what I was looking for, Erin picked me up from the dealership and we picked "my" car. The color combination I wanted wasn't on the lot and so Erin went above and beyond to get the car from Santa Monica while I was filling out paper work. I never felt pressured or sold on something I didn't want, I always felt listened to and understood, and I'd come back here any day to purchase another vehicle. As a sidenote: it certainly doesn't hurt to look at beautfiul Maseratis while waiting for the paperwork to be done, and The Auto Gallery has plenty beautiful cars in their showroom.

Perfect transaction

Called ahead of time to see if they had the exact model of the 2016 Fiat 500L with the package I wanted, and Erin found the car almost immediately. We set up a time for the next day to do the purchase. We were greeted warmly, and the process was so smooth! I've never had such a pleasant car buying experience in my life! Everyone was friendly, upfront, and easy to work with. Enjoyed it so much, my wife has decided against getting a Nissan and is buying herself a Fiat this weekend! If you're looking to buy a car, Erin is the greatest!

I have talked with a lot of sales consultants and Brooke with Van Nuys Maserati was amazing. On top of communication through the entire process. She made buying a car feat it should be, a lot of fun. Highly recommend her!!!

Quick, Easy, and Transparent

I recently leased a 500X for my daughter from Fiat Van Nuys and couldn't be happier with both the deal we received and the quality of the dealership. Perry Gentile, the Internet Sales Manager, was great to work with. This was our daughter's first car and we wanted to surprise her on her birthday. Perry was able to deliver us the car in time to make the surprise happen and he was very transparent with his pricing and lease terms. I buy a lot of cars and this was one of the easiest transactions I have had. If you are thinking about a Fiat, definitely reach out to Perry and Fiat Van Nuys.

I left the dealership with a new Fiat and hope this car will last for a long time. Seems to be a very nice car. Brooke did an outstanding job getting us a good deal, I'm not sure I could have got a better deal anywhere else. She went above and beyond. Brooke is a real treat, great gal and overall best experience I've had with buying a car.

500e repair woes

My car is brand-new and I've only driven it only once. The car I test drove wasn't the one I ended up leasing so I didn't have a chance to notice the problem. Upon the first drive to work, I heard a crunching sound whenever the rear driver's side suspension was compressed, say going over a speedbump at 20 or going over a small bump of the freeway. That day of my first drive to work was raining and cold. The dealer attempted a fix by removing the suspension, applying lubrication, and re-installing the parts. The noise is less pronounced after their initial attempt, but it's definitely still there. Unfortunately, the techs at the service department now claim that the issue is fixed and are not applying for the remaining issue. They said the problem was sand inside of the suspension which is not covered by warranty. This also means they did not want to pay for a loaner car.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Warning Will Robinson

Second review Fiat 500 Sport used car purchase. Warm and fuzzy for the 5 1/2 hours. $13,999 plus 6 year extended warranty $16,000. The first day in the driveway, and it won't start. The battery is dead. Michael Passage (no longer on Staff) gives me a Chysler field service number, not an offer to do anything else. I call, they can't help. I call Micheal, and I get a new number Ciao Fiat. They send Bob's towing. I decide to have the car taken to Glenn E. Thomas for repair since I live in Long Beach. It is now 6 hours into the day. I received a new battery under warranty. When I start the car the next day, the entire "Idiot light panel" ring is aglow. Every light. Nine weeks later, every module in the engine bay is replaced. Van Nuys totally abandoned the purchase. No offer of repair of the pitted accent vinyl stripping, the holes in back of the headlight assemblies, no help offered for any of the service required during the 11 weeks of repair visits, and now I need to take care of the check engine light at 48000 miles because the 30000 mile engine tune up was never performed. I also had to go to DMV last week since I have never had CA license plates for this car. The dealership never ordered them. Another 3 1/2 hours. I am dealing with Champion Fiat of Downey now for service. Love them by the way, take it in, pick it up, problem/service done. FYI. BUY YOUR FIAT ANYWHERE ELSE EXCEPT HERE. FUNNY THAT MICHEAL PASSAGE IS NO LONGER EMPLOYED BY THIS DEALERSHIP. THE FINANCE OFFICER THAT HELPED IS ALSO NO LONGER ON STAFF. I ALSO DEALT WITH JASON FRIEDER ("Dr Jeckell I presume). I actually like the car. I consider it a one man mission to help anyone considering the purchase of a Fiat, to PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND PURCHASE YOUR NEW OR NEW USED BABY FROM ANOTHER DEALER (Santa Monica Fiat-excepted, same owner). Total lack of professionalism and consumer care.

WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!

From the second I walked into this Fiat dealership I was greeted with smiles and the best customer service I've had anywhere. Erin Molkentin Helped for for over 2 hours and was the sweetest, most knowledgable, and helpful employee ever!! When we got to finance it was nothing but laughs and very thorough information being given to us from a young man name Yanci. He is awesome and knows what he is doing and is help helpful. Had an amazing experience at this location and plan on going back for all my service and sale needs!! 6 stars!!!

Ultimately I went with another brand, but Erin was a great salesperson. Not pushy, very informative and helpful. She spent lots of time with us and I was actually sad not to buy a car from her! Jason was also great, he came in to help close the deal, but we were set on seeing one more car before we made a decision. Great dealership. If I am in the market for a Fiat in the future, I would definitely return!

Very nice transaction

Purchased a new 2016 Fiat 500x and terminated a lease one year early on a Fiat 500e. Nothing wrong with the Fiat 500e just over the whole electric charging dilemma, range anxiety etc. Looked at 500x and was impressed. This is a great car for the money. What other car can you get built in Italy for under 20K? Wanted a manual transmission and Chris showed me what they had on the lot and took me to their storage lot to see another available manual. Everyone was very patient and very nice with no attitude whatsoever. Ahed the sales manager was very pleasant and accomodating. When the Alfa Romeo Giulias arrive I will probably buy one here. Thanks again guys.
