great experience leasing cars from Volvo Cars of Queens

After checking out several Volvo dealerships, I found Volvo Cars of Queens. I greatly appreciated their straight up, no BS, honest approach to car sales. I was glad to find a dealership with a wonderful staff of helpful people who were patient and happy to help us in all ways. Dan Brendler, our salesman, tirelessly worked with us literally from the start to the finish of the leasing process.They had the best selection of the optioned vehicles I was interested in (compared to other dealerships), and they offered them at very fair prices. I was so thrilled with Volvo Cars of Queens that we ended up leasing three Volvo cars from them this year. Keep up the great work!

Great experience in leasing our XC90

Danny was very helpful and knowledgeable sales person. A great salesperson! He highlighted the key / distinguishing features as well as small detailed operations of the vehicle. Over the time period we were searching for a car, Danny kept in touch in a polite way without being at all pushy. The showroom and clean, bright and pleasant. They even had snacks and coloring books for our children to keep them entertained while we reviewed model and options with Danny.

A great car buying experience

I live in Connecticut and wanted to buy a new Volvo for my teenage daughter (safety is my number one concern here and Volvo of course has an unparalleled reputation for safety). Looking online at the inventory available locally I found the exact combination of color and options that I wanted at Volvo Cars of Queens. I called and made them an offer which was quickly accepted, and two days later I went to the dealership to pick the car up and learn about how to use it. The salesman Danny Brendler was extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with and his knowledge and understanding of the fairly complicated technology and his ability to explain it was very impressive. The dealership had good complimentary coffee, very clean bathrooms and everyone I encountered there was very friendly and helpful. All in all a great car buying experience.

Seamless Exercise

I went in to see the Volvo S90 at Volvo Cars of Queens not really thinking that I would commit to securing one, but I was impressed with my sales rep Danny Brendler. He came across knowledgeable, but most important he was not aggressive. He answered my questions about the vehicle and once I was satisfied with what I learned the conversation segued into discussing finances. Again, it was not a hard sell on his part; I drove the conversation (no pun intended). I would recommend Danny and the dealership to those interested in a Volvo. The cars are great value for the money. Why not get excellent service too?

S60 Inscription

Clean, spacious, pleasant showroom. The entire team at Volvo of Queens was courteous and helpful. Danny Brendler was our salesman. He helped us find just what we were looking for - an S60 - with all the features we wanted, and at a great price, too! We weren't planning on buying the Inscription model, but the price was right, so we ended up with even more than we'd asked for (AWD, for example). Danny listened patiently to all our concerns and worked tirelessly and enthusiastically to get us just the right car. He always returned e-mails and phone calls right away. He was very helpful without being high-pressure. And after we bought the car, he even encouraged us to come back to see him if we needed help learning all the many features of the car. I highly recommend Volvo of Queens, and Danny as your salesperson.

2017 XC 60 Purchase

Dan Brendler assisted us with our purchase. Melissa Evans, the general manager also spent time discussing the cars with us. The process was the easiest car purchase in my experience, the initial visit, the test drive, financials and driving off the lot took 4 days. We knew what we wanted and Dan was able to help us get it without the uncomfortable hard sell that happens in most dealerships. He was friendly and patiently assist us. We are happy that Volvo is back in Queens.

Service is horrible

The car dealership is great till car needs service. The service department takes 2 days for a oil change and forgets the recall of the seat belt. Later they need 3 days to repair a flat and don't have a loaner vehicle for customer.

Great Sales Guy to Work With

Danny Brendler was great to work with. He knew what we wanted before we knew it ourselves. He really understood how the computerized systems in the new Volvo worked and he knew we were nervous about all the new features. He was seriously patient in explaining all of them to us. We went to several Volvo dealerships -- all of them aggressively looking for our business. Danny beat them hands down. We are really happy with our new Volvo.

Easiest car purchase ever

PROFESSIONAL STAFF! SUPERB CARS!

My experience here at Queens Volvo in Bayside was fantastic. I have never leased a car, and Dan Brendler was very thorough in explaining it all to me. The entire process went smooth and I am very very happy I went with a Volvo. Dan did a great job showing me the cars and various options. He was very thorough in explaining and guiding me through the paperwork, and then finally taking me through the logistics of my Volvo - the V60 Cross Country. He is professional, knowledgable, polite AND patient. THANK YOU DAN! The entire staff was as best as they could be, from Sally on the phone, Dan Brendler - my sales associate, the finance guy whose name I forgot, and the other staff in the showroom. Everyone was very professional, helpful, and polite. GREAT EXPERIENCE and BEAUTIFUL CARS!!!

Unable to change the oil on my car in a timely fashion

Brought my xc70 here for an oil change at 9:30 which was the appointment time I was offered. I asked how long it would take to complete the service and I was told about an hour to an hour in a half. I agreed and went for a walk. Upon my return I saw my car outside and went in to speak with the service person. She told me that my car was done and that all she was waiting for was the paperwork from the technician. I went to sit down in the waiting area when the service person approached me and informed me that my car had not been taken care of yet and they had no time frame for when it would be completed. As i had other errands to complete I asked for my keys. I will not be returning to this dealership for any servicing on my vehicle. The kicker is that it is time for a new car as this one has reached the point of diminishing value and cost of repairs and that my family has only owned Volvos for just about the last 30 years but due to my experience her and at the other dealership in Rockville Centre I will be shopping for a new car from a different manufacturer.
