I drive a 93' Volvo 240 wagon. I love Volvo's and have been driving them for 15 years. Recently I had a lot of trouble with a "repair" done by another garage. I brought my Volvo to Adam Peschke at Volvo of Keene and he and his team were wonderful. They found the problem quickly and kept me informed of all work done in a timely manner. I live about 30 minutes away from Volvo of Keene so I was given a loaner car to use for the time of the repair. I was skeptical at first, as I was assigned a Toyota Yaris, I am a tall person and it is a very short car. Needless to say I loved driving it. I live in New England and during the time I had the Yaris it snowed 3 times with an overall accumulation of 2 1/2 feet! The Yaris handled amazingly in the snow and slush. If I wasn't a Volvo lifer I would highly recommend the Yaris. I happily and highly recommend Volvo of Keene. The service was outstanding. Thanks!

The salesman offered me a price in an e mail for a used Volvo. After contacting the dealership I was assured that my counter offer would be accepted because we had purchased another car from them recently. I bought the bank check and on the way over to the dealership received a phone call from the salesman stating that the price he gave me in his message was, now, a "misunderstanding." The true price, now, was $1000 more. After reminding him that I was agreeing to his price as stated in his e mail, the salesman said that he never quoted a specific price in his messages. All he had to do was scroll down his messages and see that he was wrong. Don't trust them.

I would not recommend this dealer.

When buying a car I like to think that I know what I'm looking for and what I need. I typically do but no one is perfect. I like to work with a sales agent that will listen to you with open ears and guide you based only on what you describe to be the car you are looking for. At no time did I feel like I was being pushed towards a deal or a specific car. I expressed my views, preferences, budget, concerns, and questions to Dave and we were able to work in a manner and at a pace that left me feeling comfortable with the process and satisfied with my purchase at the end of the day. Dave is the best sales agent that I've worked with. Steve also made the finance side of things easy when it came time for my John Hancock. Final numbers were documented and presented in a well organized fashion. Dave checked in and kept me up to date as my used purchase moved from scratch removal to detail and waxing to its final parking place on the sales lot. He then allowed me to use his PC to finalize my car replacement with Geico prior to my departure. TYNI - Toyota you nailed it!

Would you buy a used car from Toyota-Volvo of Keene? I sure would! I have owned nothing but Volvos all my life, and I have had my Volvos serviced there since 2001. I bought a 6-yr old Volvo there two years ago and have been very pleased. I got a good price, and a great car. The staff are superb. You can't beat the service anywhere else, and I drive 50 miles from Massachusetts to have my car serviced there. They always have fresh bagels and coffee, Wi-Fi, and the "Gus Bus" to take you around town while your car is being serviced. The Sales people are some of the nicest people around. For people in Massachusetts, it's definitely worth it to drive up to Keene for service - no tax, and very reasonable prices! Plus, free check-up with oil change! How can you beat that?

We price shopped for a new Volvo S60 in 3 New England States: Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire. We purchased the car out of our own State since we got the best price here. Our experience from start to finish was excellent: no nonsense negotiation with friendly and knowledgeable service. Thanks to both Ned and Valerie!

I purchased a Volvo S40 from Toyota/Volvo of Keene and it's worked out wonderfully. They have a very knowledgable sales staff and always have a great selection to choose from. We opted for a used car rather than a new one and we had several options to choose from of the same make/model.

Best experience ever buying a car! This was not your normal slippery car buying experience that we are all used too.The staff was honest and upfront about everything. We went to two other dealers and both feed us the same line.Keene made it happen like we were buying a loaf of bread. Will buy all of my cars here and friends and family will return.

My wife and I traveled to all the dealerships in the area and would highly recommend buying a car from volvo of keene. Tim and randy worked very hard to find the right car that fit our lifestyle. They even came in their days off to meet with us to test drive cars.We are very particular about the ride and quality of cars we drive. We went from driving a land rover and mustang to a kid friendly volvo wagon.They made a perfect match.The vovlo is sporty handles well and is alot better on fuel consumption. Our salesmen, tim and Randy had very laid back approach and you didn't feel rushed into any descisions. It was great experience...rare when you buy a car!

I took my 1995 Volvo to this dealership because after the starter motor had been replaced (at an independent garage), the car's engine failed to start even though the starter motor turned over okay. For the 10 day period they had the car, they failed to determine the cause of the problem. Even though the dealership soon realized that it was a difficult problem, they only used trial and error diagnosis, without doing research. Even though I had indicated that there was no spark at the coil, they started throwing ignition components at it downstream of the problem. Even though I indicated that the Air Mass Meter (AMM) (which is on the air cleaner) would not cause a no spark condition, they ended up recommending replacing the AMM. At that point I removed the car from the dealership because I lacked confidence in their ability to find the problem. The problem turned out to be a defective starter motor that interfered with the car's computer. When they were contacted by a third party organization with a complaint, they "stretched the truth" excessively They refused to refund my money. They refused to own up to their inadequacies. Even though they removed some of the components that were not needed, they should never have spent labor time installing components that were not necessary. They did apparently try to control costs by not charging for some of the effort over the 10 day period they had the car. They also put back the ignition components as well. These are the reasons I gave them the rating I did. In summary they: * used trial and error diagnostic methods only * recommended replacing a component unrelated to the problem * wouldn't always listen to the customer * wouldn't perform research * installed components downstream of the ignition failure which suggests a lack of understanding of the basic functionality of a car's design * did apparently try to control costs Also: * when sent a complaint through a government sponsored agency, they "stretched the truth" excessively * as a customer, I felt I had more knowledge of the car and the problem than their "master technician" Friends of mine have also complained about the service at this dealership. If you have a difficult problem with your car, this is not the place to take it.

I would not recommend this dealer.
