Went Above and Beyond !!!

I purchased a 1 Owner used Volvo at Volvo Cars of Sarasota. My Interaction started on the Internet with Dylan Byerly and he was prompt and thorough as I was looking for particular options. Being based in Orlando, I did not want to make a trip to see the vehicle if it was not exactly what I was looking for. I made an appointment with Dylan after speaking with him for the upcoming Saturday morning. The vehicle was exactly as described and in great shape. I decided to purchase the vehicle and asked Dylan to address a few small details that would make this used car "as new." The Service Team took care of everything and more of what I asked. They even filled the gas tank and provided a very nice silver Volvo keychain. Small touches that showcase their attention to detail. My family also needed the car shipped out of state. The Sales Manager, Bob Preston, stepped in and seamlessly arranged for everything. He even addressed a small timing issue with the paperwork and their business office so that my expedited timeline could be met. Both Bob and Dylan delivered on their word. The experience with Volvo Cars of Sarasota was anything but stressful, as Their Sales and Service Team worked for and earned my trust. I highly recommend this dealership Team as they seem to be in the People Business and they also sell great cars!!!

Volvo Cars of Sarasota Lost Our Trade-In - Now We Owe For It

When we leased a Volvo from Volvo Cars of Sarasota, they lost lost our trade-in lease car. Now, according to the leasing company, GMC Financial, we owe them over $36,000 for the missing car. We have been leasing vehicles for several years and generally trade them in within a couple of years. We have never had a single problem with six trade-ins over the last eight years, not one problem. All those cars and all those dealerships, not a single challenge with our previous car being properly managed, until Volvo Sarasota. We went to Volvo Cars of Sarasota to trade in our Buick for a new Volvo, they took the Buick, and it has now vanished. It has been over two months and we are still getting calls from GMC Financial wanting their vehicle, the Buick. Volvo Cars of Sarasota seems to just be shrugging their shoulders and is wholly unconcerned that the car we trusted them to deal with appropriately, promptly, and professionally can not be found. Of course Volvo doesn't care, the Buick is still in our name and is our responsibility even though we officially traded it in and have the paperwork to back it up. I cannot adequately convey how frustrating, annoying, worrying, upsetting, and downright disappointing this experience with Volvo Cars of Sarasota has been. We absolutely love the car, and our salesperson was wonderful, but will never deal with this Volvo dealership again. I repeat, Volvo Cars of Sarasota lost our $36,000 trade-in and we are now legally and fiscally responsible for this misplaced car. THIRTY-SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR A CAR THAT VOLVO LOST!

My entire repair went smoothly from booking maintenance through estimates given and work performed. Customer services agent Alan Avis was very proactive in letting me know when parts were in, how long the maintenance would take, and the price of the repair. He called and kept me informed throughout the process. Very impressed!

The service Department is superior in all regards. Allen kept me informed of all repairs and ensured I understood exactly what the repairs entailed and estimated costs. The timeliness of the repairs is commendable. All the staff at Volvo Cars Sarasota are friendly and helpful. My V70 was purchased new from Volvo Cars Sarasota and all service has been performed at Volvo Cars Sarasota. This dealership stands above any other in Sarasota. I highly recommend Volvo Cars Sarasota for sales but especially service.

GT - Greatness Together!

The quality of the certified pre-owned C70 convertible was only exceeded by the outstanding quality of the customer service. Acting together, Tom Pence, Craig Constable and the General Manger propelled the dealership's culture of customer happiness. At all phases we felt un-rushed and respected. As the car was being delivered, we discovered a very minor blemish and instead of telling us to come back (1.5 hour drive) they gave us a brand new loaner X60 for a couple of days so they could fix the problem the right way. To me that's integrity that is ingrained in the culture by high quality management. So go to Volvo of Sarasota and experience GT. Art and Linda Woods

We bought our new 2016 Volvo XC 90 a little over a month ago. We have had our share of excellent cars but none that can beat this beauty! Jack Burke and Craig Constable were excellent to work with too. Jack took a great deal of time to introduce us to this magnificent vehicle and Craig added his expertise to make our transaction really smooth. Everything I read led me to believe this Volvo was the car for us and after a short test drive with Jack we KNEW it was the right car for us. So many great features and so easy to understand. No need for a big, thick users manual with this vehicle. It is a wonderful combination of luxury and simplicity and we love it even more today than when we drove it home.

I drove 500 miles to buy a car from Volvo of Sarasota because my local volvo dealer could not get the car I wanted and were terrible! Jack Burke and Craig Constable were simply the best to work with...they helped me well beyond the car purchase, aiding me with suggested hotel, restaurants, and arranged shipping the new car home... I got the car I wanted, at a great price, from people who made the experience perfect! I strongly suggest this dealership! When it comes time for my next car, I bet I will make the trip to Volvo of Sarasota!

Easy and friendly car buying experience

Buying a car is usually stressful and unpleasant. I was shocked to see that it doesn't have to be that way after I bought my car from Jack Burke and Craig Constable at Volvo of Sarasota. They were able to match another Volvo dealer's price on the CPO Volvo I was looking at. I was used to buying a car being a 5 hour process. Here, we were in and out in an hour and a half- part of which was Jack showing us all of the features of the car. I will recommend this dealership to everyone I know. Thank you!

Not my best car buying experience :( I was not happy with was I was paid for my trade; the CPO Volvo convertible I was sold had a brake problem within about a month of purchasing it and I was told by their Service Dept it would cost me almost $600 to have it repaired. I was so dissappointed, I brought the car to Midas and they said it DID NOT NEED parts as suggested by Volvo! The cost to repair and flush the brake system only $200. No I would definately NOT recommend this dealership. My husband and I have since bought two more vehicles for our two sons (totaling $55,000) elsewhere and had a much better experience.

I was very pleased with my recent service experience at Coast Volvo. My 1996 Volvo 850 Turbo required some analysis and repairs. The check in process was quick and efficient and the car was inspected right away. The repairs were made while I waited and the completed within the projected time. Two days later I detected a second malfunction and returned to Coast the next day for appointment. Again everything went smoothly, the check-in, the repairs and the invoicing. I thought the costs were certainly in line with my expectations. I will certainly continue to use Coast Volvo for my service. Ken

If you are reading this and thinking of buying a car at this dealership I promise you will not be disappointed by the really terrific people that work here. First of all I am not an employee, I am a two time customer of this dealership. In the 35 years I have been driving and buying cars this is by far the best dealership I have ever dealt with. I bought a 2011 S60 T6 for my wife two and half years ago. We were so happy with the car (and most importantly the way the way the service department handled us since the purchase) that I purchased a 2013 XC60 T6 for myself this weekend. Volvo really builds a terrific car and this is as good a group a people you will ever have the pleasure of doing business with. They stand behind their cars after they sell them to you and will bend over backwards to make sure you remain happy with your car. I hope this helps in your decision and have a wonderful day.

After researching and driving numerous brands of sedans, we bought a new 2013 Volvo S60 T5. Our initial visit to Volvo of Sarasota (Coast Volvo) left both of us feeling very positive about doing business with them. They were obviously willing to negotiate a reasonable price for a new car. They gave us a fair dollar amount for our trade-ins (we had two). The entire buying experience was excellent overall. We have owned the car for only a couple of weeks and are very happy with our purchase.

Expensive oil change, unable to determine if multi-point inspection was done much less tire pressure check. Only reason for visit was an 1100 mi drive from Chicago area - would have felt better about the return trip had my car been checked. Volvo of Lisle Illinois would have done the same work for half the price !!
