Quick, easy purchase!

In the last year, I was looking for a vehicle, and Salem Kirby was helpful and honest to tell me that the particular vehicle I wanted, at that time, was no longer available. I appreciate her honesty and made a note that if I found another vehicle I would contact her. Found a 2008 Volvo XC70 at Volvo Cars Winston-Salem. They have a great selection of vehicles to choose from. Met with Ms. Kirby and she introduced me to Zach Hisel who set up a test drive. Zach is very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. I recently purchased my fifth Volvo from Volvo Cars Winston Salem for several reasons. For one, excellent customer service from the moment I walked in the door, meeting with Tim Gallione and Scott Roten to driving away with the exact vehicle I ordered! The impeccable service department takes care of all concerns without hesitation! This is the ONLY Volvo dealership I would ever consider purchasing a vehicle - pre-owned or brand new and I've purchased each.

Great All Around

In three easy and pleasant trips to the sales department I found exactly what I was looking for, became ultra-confident of the confirmed quality and reliability of the 5-year old XC60 Premier model I was buying, and have since taken it twice to my mtn home 100 miles west where the transfer case worked exactly as engineered in three inches of snow and on the open highway where the technology and the I6 performed like a charm. We are very much looking forward to doing business with Thomas Wells again when my wife replaces her V-70 with an S model. Given all the R&R work the dealership did after taking this original Volvo of the Triad car on trade a second time, I look forward to many months of near-perfect performance and thereafter to having this dealer's service techs keep the technology running flawlessly.

The purchase of our new Volvo from ordering to delivery was a flawless example of complete customer focused service. The leverage of technology added to our customer .xperience and the sales staffs personal experience with the Volvo product lines allowed them the answer every one of our questions with personal experience. Poor customer service and even worse auto service.

I purchased a Volvo XC70 with high miles from this dealership. I was given a stack of inspection paperwork showing all systems checked out and a list of repairs they performed on the vehicle. The service included an oil change, new tires and the front end aligned. The tires were the cheapest available for the vehicle, which I don't believe belong on a quality vehicle from a quality dealer. I had the tires replaced after 2000 miles and the tech found the tie rod end lock bolts were backed off by over 1/8th of an inch, and not tightened as required. I had to have the alignment re done costing over $80.00, not to mention the safety issue. 10/17- The dealership did get back to me, they refunded me the cost of the alignment, and the General Manager gave me his contact info if I had any other issues.

Felt like they tried to trick me-

Started negotiating on a used car with Salem, a sales manager. We agreed through text messages on a price and a CPO warranty was part of the deal-she asked for our credit card number to put down the deposit and then told us that unfortunately the CPO warranty was not included. We had been talking about that warranty through the whole negotiations, we don’t understand why it was changed at the last minute. We feel misled, won’t do business with them again. Be careful of what they agree too, it could change at any time.

I saw that Volvo had a used car that i was looking for. I called ahead to schedule an appointment. When i got there, i met Thomas, who promptly pulled the car up for my inspection and test drive. The 11 year old car was well detailed and clean. He also provided proof of what items that were brought up to standard. The car was practically new! The experience was seamless and pleasurable. I would recommend Volvo of Winson Salem to anyone looking for a new car as well a used car. They make sure that when the car leaves the lot, it is in its best quality. They do a great job.

Best place to buy or Lease a car

This Dealership is excellent because they make the buying experience very very pleasant, quick and they understand what customer service is. They treat you with respect and give you answers quickly. They want the customer to be satisfied right from the beginning. No pressure when negotiating. They bring the buying experience to your home. In search of - Good to Great

There is a saying; "All's well that ends well". In my case, all has not ended well yet but the hope is that it will. I can only recommend this dealership if in fact all does end well and that remains to be seen. My rating of this dealership is based on my experience as a former North Carolina Quality Examiner, a former Board Member of a National Quality organization, a former Lead Judge and trainer of Judges for an International Team Excellence competition and approximately 40 years in the practice of quality and organization development, roughly 25 years of which were in mu own consulting practice. If there is a desire to improve, I'll gladly discuss in detail my experience. Of the people with whom I interacted, Scott Roten was outstanding.

Seriously, beyond easy. I don't write reviews often, but am happy to do so here. Salem Kirby answered my questions quickly and thoroughly. Thomas Wells delivered the car and took the time to walk us through everything. Both of them made the paperwork, legal and logistical issues just disappear. I'm still kind of in shock that it all happened that easily. I don't know when I'll need another car, but this will be my first stop when I do.

Great Experience

My wife and I were in the market for the new XC90, we were discouraged not being able to find exact color combo with right accessories etc. We connected with Salem K. At Volvo of Winston Salem online and a week later we brought home our new car. Salem was unbelievably accommodating in answering all questions over the phone or via text. She made us feel as if we were her most important customer from start to finish. She was 1 and 1/2 hours away but earned our business merely on her diligence and attention to our needs. Once at the dealership, I was just as impressed. The staff was fantastic and worked together seamlessly. William spent hours We me teaching me the ins and outs of our new vehicle. He was a true expert and professional. I could not recommend this dealership and in particular Salem and William more! Absolutely the best car buying experience we have ever had! Tim G. was the pinnacle of service. He worked with me the way I preferred. This dealership had the exact car I wanted, but was 3 hours away. Tim answered countless questions by phone and text as I preferred, and never pressured me to make any sort of decision faster than I wanted. He took inventory of where I was in the process and facilitated a VERY easy car purchase. Since I am 3 hours away, he personally met me halfway in Charlotte at a sister dealership with all closing paperwork and my new vehicle, and drove my trade-in base to Winston Salem. Not to mention, he did this on a Friday evening, and even after doing paperwork for purchase/financing (which was so easy as he was immaculately prepared), he took over an hour to help me set up my new car settings and make sure I had everything I needed.
